Unexpectedly, her face sticks in his memory, and he's not used to it. This makes him intrigued and disconcerted, so he instinctively searches for her and loses concentration. That's why he wants her away.

Wasn't she going to call.... And i think why ZWS didn't inform it to the police was because of Mai Zi. He was one of the member of the gang , they would arrest him as well. And also before arresting the gang they would arrest LBX's brother.
