I love family dramas and I watch a lot of dailies which are their staple, but this was just so brilliant all around. I have watched this 3 times since it's aired and I'm watching it AGAIN. I'm not sure why this has become my go-to, but I feel like it's become my palate cleanser between dramas now lol.
I've been stuck in the middle of this drama for years. (I'm not sure why, I just found it harder and harder to go back after the 20th-something ep). But I wanted to finally go back and finish it b/c I remember loving it... But after reading this wall... I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't. XD
I feel like there is still so much story to tell. It would've been a rush job with them just wrapping up…
I completely agree. CQ's story alone could have carried this drama without all the padding. And it /was/ her story. I'm just so sad we missed out on so many defining moments from the book and pushed the story so far away from CQ's story.
So we probably expecting that the ending will be where CQ thought that YY was dead.. and the director will gonna…
@Nikideema I feel exactly the same way. Sometimes the last episode can ruin an otherwise brilliant drama for me. I hate that disappointment in "what could have been" and then isn't. It's so irritating.

I really enjoy long immersive dramas, and I get wrapped up in those loooong daily dramas, but for some reason these 30min eps make it feel like the drama is never. going. to. end.
