I know!! I don't think it's gotten the green light yet for production, they've just finished the script. If you check Soompi I think there's a link to a weibo post. I know ZLY thought when she signed onto the project it was for the entire story, not half. So I'm lighting candles to the drama fairies to intervene. They rarely use the same cast for second parts in C-dramas though. And ZLY's schedule is probably full for the next couple of years. SIGH. LGX said he would only do a season 2 if ZLY did it.

I love spoilers too *_* In the interview w/ ZLY she said the last scene was the frozen lake scene. They thought that was just the last scene she filmed, but from the book timeline, C-viewers have speculated it looks like that's where it will end in the drama. Which means YWY is *dead* (not really) and CQ, still thinking he's dead, is in the lake. Which means we don't get her entire past and YWY reunion and all the stuff I was soooooo looking forward to.
But now they're /also/ thinking it might end with her out of the lake and suddenly realizing YWY didn't actually die. And then it will end. But then that messes up the book timeline if they have a part 2. But it's all speculation C-viewers did from piecing together interviews and drama clips. I'm just crossing my fingers some drama fairy intervenes and frees up ZLY's packed schedule for season 2 (since the script is done). But I'm not holding my breath. This drama should have been like 120 episodes. I hadn't realized how long this story was!

I am someone who, for the most part, loves spoilers. I scour the web looking for details and bts bits. But I also agree about marking comments as spoilers. There's a reason there's an option to mark and report a comment spoiler in the comment section. (Which, *do* if a comment bothers you).

It is definitely Xiaoba I can't stand. Ugh. I'm always glad when they disappear for awhile too. I don't really mind the other one, but she has a habit of thinking she can help when she can't, and then they all get in trouble. Xiaoba's daydream with YWY had me rolling my eyes though (He's only meant for a certain someone lol.). There's no way they're ever gonna redeem her character for me. She's all, "me me me"!

The wolves! Yes, lol. I guess I never saw the events after that as being weak. She'd been mauled by wolves and was pretty much bedridden after, and then losing those who looked after her the most. She was being compliant in her own way to keep her siblings safe (it's not like she was gonna kick butt when she couldn't even sit up by herself lol), but her behavior would have gotten any other maid killed instantly. And she was always thinking of a way to go up or get out. That never pointed to her acting like a victim to me. She was always trying to grab a hold of her own destiny, even if she didn't know what that was. Her sisters seem like the ones with the victim mentality lol. The one has me wanting to scream. :o

There's a drama in the back of my mind that fits that description but I can't think of the name. I think it's Taiwanese... But I'm coming up blank OTL The only other ones that come to mind are Her Legend (K) and Beautiful Secret (C).
