I feel like I watched a different show to everyone one else, this was 10/10 extremely well written, well acted, everything felt real including those amazing fight scenes and MuDeok he is my character of the year, what a character he was, complex, layered and true. truly brilliant drama!

what part are you misunderstanding?. no problem with Aimi acting with older actors, huge problem with her as an underage lover. simple or am I missing something 🙄 my comment that it’s our responsibility as the audience to either watch or not would absolutely protect kids, because if theirs no audience then they don’t make a c drama with a minor in it.

I’m not getting pissed. on the contrary my comment was a simple one. it was yourself that reacted strongly. like I say they act together all the time and again as I say, neither part was a romance. no lovers, no kissing, no touching. there were feelings in both shows but it’s all in retrospect after either one has died and actually the love story is the loss looking back. we watch Zuo Ye and Aimi in both shows portray on their own, love lost. so nothing ever happens between them. where as this is a full on enemies to lovers role. we know there’s a forced marrige and a coming of them together, so you either going to get an inappropriate relationship between an older man and a child or they are going to have to completely hold back and then what’s the point?! Neo looked uncomfortable at the ceremony so how’s that going to effect the on screen chemistry, this is a really tough one for him and really quite unfair on him. this might be something Aimi wants, who knows. doesn’t make it right. I wanted all sorts of things at her age, my parents didn’t allow everything and I’m grateful for that. imho it’s a social responsibility to protect children and young people as an adult and that’s why I say with great dissapointment I can’t support this show if that makes me an attention seeker them I’m good with that.

she wasn’t in a romantic relationship with Zuo Ye in MJTY and he was a baby too, they have worked together many times. their age difference is a lot more similar, but it has always remained friendly, innocent and playful never lovers, in fact just last week they did a fun advert together. I would have the same opinion if this was him as ML. the problem is she is a child in an enemies to LOVERS role. how anyone can think that’s ok is beyond me.
if this was a school play and it was a teacher at 29 and student at 17 playing these roles would it be ok? seeking attention 🤔🙄🤫🤐no just using the platform as it’s used by anyone else, sharing my opinion and thoughts. would my comment be seeking attention if it was Pro Aimi as FL in this role?
Thank you. honestly even Zuo Ye is too old for her and the two are constantly paired together, but at least they keep it strictly PG. I am so gutted about this honestly because the story the rest of the cast and the look of the costumes etc look right up my street, but wrong is wrong. we are not living in the past and we know the damage done to those underage. Aimi is an amazing talent and she deserves a FL appropriate aged role. As for Neo I hope it doesn’t effect his career as he too is an amazing character actor, that deserves not to be put in this position and it was clear for all to see how uncomfortable he looks at the ceremony.
sadly going to have to give this a miss. when the audience says this nonsense is ok your going along with it being ok. it’s not, absolutely no need for her to be in this role at this age.
