NO LITERALLY SAME while i was watching this ep i was like "huh that's a random pairing what's that about" and then i remembered they literally had a whole ass drama together

i literally LIVE for book's mega extra overacting style!! i know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but i find it so endearing and cute like it's literally the highlight of the show for me

can someone please lemme know when this gets subbed?

i was able to watch it eng subbed on a flight to japan, but idk if it's released online yet

one of my favorite manga of all time, i def have high hopes for this one! hiroki as minoru is PERFECT but casting atsuhiro as yutaka was a kinda weird choice imo but i'm a fan of his past works so i think it'll prob grow on me as it goes on.

i feel like the main leads carried this entire show on their backs. both gave two of (in my opinion) the strongest performances in a jbl with really believable and sweet chemistry, and i feel like if they were in a drama with a plot that was just slightly better thought out or more interesting it would be an instant 10. i feel like they don't really do anything new or interesting with the amnesia storyline, and it pretty much plays out exactly the way you think it will, which is frustrating. to be honest, i would've preferred a sweet slice of life story that just followed ritsu and fumiya as an actual couple as opposed to a story with forced drama out of nowhere. my biggest takeaway from the series was to keep an eye out for both kyoya and kousuke in their future works, because they were easily the highlight of the drama for me.

same! tbh i was always kind of confused at the supposed 15 ep length, just because i didn't know how they would stretch out the plot for an extra 5 eps, so 10 makes much more sense, but at the same time it's a little disappointing that we won't get more!

my biggest problem with this series prior to ep 7 was that i felt like dome was a boring character, which was incredibly disappointing because it felt like a waste of one of the strongest gmmtv actors. especially for a series with such fantastic performances from actors like tor and namtaan, as well as really impressive guest performances from bright, nanon, and pretty much all the women in ep 5, it was kind of confusing and frustrating that they didn't really utilize gun's talents as well as they could've. after the introduction of the one and chan, i feel like gun really got to shine in a way he hasn't with dome for the past 6 eps, which was really great to see. his performance as the one in particular was so nuanced and enthralling, and really reminded me of why he's one of the top thai actors working today. i haven't gotten a chance to watch ep 8 yet, but i'm hoping we'll get more of the one (either as gun or nanon, who also did an excellent job in the end of ep 7) and more info about the high priestess/anthika.

also am i the only one who thinks the actress who played nisa in ep 5 looks like a combination of jane and ciize?

can we please talk ab how good all of the female performances are in this show esp in ep 5?? gmm has such extremely talented actresses that don't get NEARLY the hype they deserve

2gether technically came out like 3 years ago, plus they already have still 2gether and 2gether the movie, so i feel like it's not really necessary to include them here as their story has been continued a lot and there's not much more they could do w/ it imo

i think my biggest hope for the finale is that we'll get to see gun really express his feelings for tinn beyond just an appreciation for helping him get to hotwave. i don't really mind whether or not there's a kiss scene, but i feel like some sort of a verbal confirmation that gun also loves tinn would be very cute and satisfying. ik next ep is gonna be dramatic, but i'm hoping we'll also have a fair share of sweet moments to end this lovely series off with! <3

putting aside the fake-out kiss discourse, i think it's important to remember that this episode isn't really about tinn and gun, it's about chinzhilla and the end of the hot wave storyline. i think it was really smart to split the "finale" into two separate parts essentially, giving this episode to finish gun and chinzhilla's major storyline, and then next episode will be the conclusion to tinn and gun's storyline. i see a lot of people complaining about how this episode was too heavy and that the drama was shoehorned in, but i personally felt like it was a really realistic reaction for them all to have considering how hard they had worked. unlike a lot of other bls/romcoms from gmmtv, i feel like my school president genuinely cares about ALL of its characters, even the ones that don't directly affect the relationship plot of the show. the way that everything was resolved felt really emotionally satisfying to me, even if the episode started out heavy in the beginning.

it seems like they've been releasing them on spotify shortly after their mvs hit 1 million on youtube. so far, they've uploaded all of the songs featured up until ep 7. my guess is the next will be hook, then prob satang's song.

i thought the same thing!! his comedic timing was totally on point, i'd really like to see him in more comedic roles again in the future.

every episode my mind is blown at how endearing every single actor in this show is! i don't want to sound rude, but i think it's fair to say that there are a fair amount of actors at gmmtv that are not entirely skilled actors and are usually only praised for their visuals, but that is not even remotely the case with msp. we all know that fourth and gem are absolutely insane (esp considering they're the youngest actors on the show), but the members of chinzhilla, tiw, and kajorn (who are also still relatively young) are also all extremely fun characters that wouldn't be nearly as fun or charismatic if they weren't portrayed by those specific actors. even the parents are incredibly memorable and likable, especially tinn and gun's mom's. both actresses are so professional and come across so genuine (which again makes it all that more impressive that both fourth and gem are able to hold their own acting wise in scenes with them! the casting director deserves insane props for this series, because the entire ensemble cast is really so perfect and it just makes msp that much better.
