based on the trailer for ep 9 it seems like sound and gun learn ab each others respective crushes on win and tinn which is such an awesome bestie moment!!!! i'm hoping gun becomes a semi-wingman for sound (i feel like he would not be very good at it but i just think that would be so fun and silly). also, tiw is at the beach w/ them, so maybe tiwpor moments are coming are way??? pls???? anyways i am so so so hyped for this next ep bc it's a beach ep AND gemini said in an interview that ep 9 was his fav! my school president is the best series ever fight me!!! (jk no one would ever fight me on this, everyone here loves msp and i love to see it!)
I’m in love with this drama, last episode was so good and I can’t wait for next week!!!However I hope they…
i think it's likely that they'll address it. it seems like gun's arc of feeling unimportant/untalented is sort of coming to a close, so i feel like these last few eps will focus more on tinn and his relationship w/ his mom. there's that one scene in the trailer of tinn's parents crying, so i feel like something like what you mentioned may come up. if not though, i agree that would be a total let down!!
also the lil scene at the very end of the ep with gun and tinn trying to flirt with their chicken sandwiches was so goofy and cringe but i loved it so much oml THIS SHOW IS THE GREATEST!!
YESYESYES HE IS LITERALLY THE CUTEST!!! i have no idea how they're gonna end up with tiwpor at the end but i am looking forward to it nonetheless bc they're my favs
i could literally go on for hours about how everything in this show is perfect but instead i wanna highlight smth that i haven't seen talked about a lot which is the styling!! LITERALLY ALL THE OUTFITS ARE SO COOL AND FUN AND THEY ALL FIT THE CHARACTERS SOSO WELL like especially por?? he is literally dripped tf out every ep
thinking ab the fact that por choosing just being friendly as the song led to them shooting the mv which led to tinn and gun getting closer which led to them actually confessing POR IS LITERALLY AN INDIRECT MATCHMAKING KING???
i saw that "just being friendly" was on a spotify ost playlist for msp, but i wasn't sure when they were gonna use it SO WHEN GUN SAID THAT WOULD BE THE SONG FOR THE AUDITION I SCREAMED SO FUCKING HARD
LITERALLY!! i had stepped away from gmmtv for a bit bc all the stories are extremely repetitive to the point where…
thanks for the recommendation, i'll definitely check it out! and yes, gemini and fourth are extremely talented, not even just for their age but in general! their refreshing performances are part of what makes the show so charming to me.
when i tell you i've spent the past two weeks doing literally nothing except wait for this episode to air, i mean it. like literally i think i've rewatched the first 4 eps at least 6-7 times, and this episode further reaffirmed why i love this series so so much!!
as an artist and high school senior myself, gun's struggle of being unsure whether to follow his dream or conform to a more financially viable route hit me painfully hard. it added an extra level of dimension to gun, as well as the other chinzhilla members, as we saw them deal with the pressures of figuring out their future. to me, it really proved how much this series actually cares about ALL of it's characters as opposed to just pushing forward the main couple without any regard for anyone else.
i'm also really happy that gun's mom was the one who helped convince him to keep pushing forward with his dream, as it's rare to see such strong family dynamics represented in a lot of bl dramas. truthfully, this is something i've admired since ep 2 when we got to see tinn's family and how supportive and loving they were.
i think it's incredibly impressive how easily this series is able to balance romance, humor, and drama altogether. every episode leaves you so satisfied, but wanting more. the music is really naturally integrated in a way that i think actually helps move the story along rather than stopping it just to add a few more songs to the ost.
i truly could gush about msp for hours, it's just the most refreshing and comforting drama i've seen in such a long time. my only critique is that there's not really any female characters of importance other than the moms, like i get that it's a bl and ultimately there's gonna be more men the women bc of that, but it would be nice to have at least one positive female side character! anyways, i love love love this series so so much and am beyond excited for the next ep!! based on the trailer. it seems like ep 6 will be a lot of fluffy fun, which is definitely needed after this heavier (and perfect) episode!
Okay... Why was I crying when the mother started singing???? Like I had no reason to cry NO BITCH THERE WAS A…
from what i understand, sound & win and tiw & tor are together in the novel, so they most likely will end up together in the drama! also YES THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING HOW FINE GUN'S MOM IS LIKE SHE IS JUST SO LOVELYYYYYY
After ep 5: I am afraid of Gun thinking that Tinn likes someone else in the music club other than Gun himself…
based on the trailer, i think that's where it's headed next ep unfortunately :( but knowing my school president, i feel like they will clear up any misunderstandings fairly soon, as most of the episodes so far have been able to resolve stuff like that very quickly without dragging it out for the sake of drama, one of the many reasons this drama is the best!!
Ok. I’m here for a sanity check. I’m the most jaded and cynical BL watcher. From making up BL Sponge Bath…
LITERALLY!! i had stepped away from gmmtv for a bit bc all the stories are extremely repetitive to the point where it feels like if you've seen one, you've seen them all. i watched msp on a total whim and i literally haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. i've rewatched the first four episodes at least 6 times while waiting for the 5th one, and today i've literally already rewatched ep 5 3 separate times. it's so refreshing to have a drama that actually cares ab the characters and story outside of the romance. the acting is so lovely and all of the characters are so enjoyable, i really hope this means a new direction for gmm, bc the overly dramatic and overly sexualized bls are getting really tired and frustrating imo.
OH I HOPE SOUND DOESN'T FALL INLOVE WITH GUNN!! CAUSE I SHIP SOUND WITH WINNYY😭😭😭😭
i think, (based on the og concept trailer) that they might have a misunderstanding plot where tinn thinks that sound likes gun, but based on the open house ep and other clips from the ending and op, it seems like sound and win are gonna b paired together, so don't worry!! i think satang said that sound will sing a song for the person he likes so i'm guessing that's gonna b win
i was ab to skip this one cause it looked sort of generic and i didn't know any of the actors, BUT I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T!! this is so fun and refreshing so far!!
I was so excited to see that they were adapted my favourite BL manga into a series. But now... I am so disappointed...…
i think in the drama the girl that kaburagi hugged in the beginning is not supposed to be onoe's gf like in the manga (my guess is this is bc a lot of j bls seem to be moving away from the whole "i'm straight but i only like this one guy" plot lines that a lot of older bl manga tend to perpetuate) definitely agree ab this episode having a rough start w/ the acting though, but there were still some cute parts so i'm gonna try to remain optimistic for the next ep :)
Where did you get an indication that he has been dreaming the whole thing about Kiochi's being a living corpse?
it's just a theory i've seen thrown around in the comments recently, a lot of people who are hoping for a happy ending are thinking that oumi might be in a coma or something and dreaming the whole thing. personally i don't think he's dreaming bc that would be a total cop out lol
aside from theories about what's going to happen to koichi or about whether or not oumi is dreaming, i really want to commend this drama on it's representation of grief. it's really interesting to see oumi go through the stages of grief whilst the person he's grieving is still there. these first few episodes have been about his denial of koichi's death, and i'm assuming based on the trailer that the next few are going to represent the more emotional stages of grief, (bargaining, anger, depression) finally ending w/ oumi accepting that koichi is really gone. it's similar to what happens when someone you love is terminally ill, you essentially have to wait as you watch this person you care so much about fade away, and that's represented really well in eien no kino.
i'm really enjoying it so far, my only major critique is that i don't feel like the episodes are very well paced, in that i think they spend too much time on certain scenes and not enough on others (although that might just be me wanting more and feeling unsatisfied by the end lol). otherwise, i really love the way this is going so far!
nono dw i understood the point of the scene, i was just pointing out that it was funny that it was actually brought up in the show considering me and my brother had joked about it in the episode earlier. my comment was not at ALL meant to be a dig on the show lol, i really really love it so far!
