Two dramas about solving mysteries. The important case is the death of a prince. This drama also features a female coroner - and, yes, she also starred in the drama Coroner's Diary.
both have rebirth, both have ML and FL fall in love, both have betrayal as a kickstarter/catalyst.
both done really well.
both done really well.
- Both are historical time travelling K-dramas
- Kang Hana is in both this dramas playing the hated/villain sister/consort character
- Both have tyrant kings tamed by the FL
- Both have happy or sad endings? Watch to know the answer!

Investigation jdramas.
Set in departments that are looked down upon/essentially forgotten by the rest of the police.
— Aren't taken seriously, but are productive nonetheless.
Quirky chaotic female leads who annoy cold/rude male leads.
Both feature Ryu Raita in a supporting role.
Keizoku is apparently a parent story to SPEC though I see no direct correlation in story. SPEC leaned into supernatural abilities while Keizoku aimed to disprove and rationalize.

The same permise, if you like My sibling romance you would also like Dearest Dear. Heart-warming chaos!!
The same permise but a korean version!
Feels light at first, but unfolds with surprising depth. Clean story, fun chaos with the siblings!

Both legal dramas.
Both feature a mentor/mentee dynamic between female lead and an older female boss.
Both feature strong and interesting female characters, all different in personality.
Subtle/slight romance.

Both of these Thai GL indie productions center around a wealthier woman/boss lady who decides to rent a friend/girlfriend from a customizable service app. Feelings ultimately evolve from these events, and the conclusion wraps up with a little scheme to ensure a happy ending off the app.
theyre both dramatic thriller makjangs. dear x is the closest drama of 2025 to penthouse.
Both are epic jidaigeki demon movies. Both are very similar..................................................... .
Extraordinary (2025) and Be Yourself (2025) both ride the ‘modern-or-outsider in a historical/fantasy world’ wave — but they give it very different flavors. Extraordinary leans more into politics, strategy and slow-burn power play: the MC pretends to be a wastrel but uses modern knowledge/wits to amass wealth and influence, quietly rising to real power behind the scenes. Meanwhile, Be Yourself opts for fantasy + romance + cultivation tropes: a powerful ancient monster merges into a weak body and suddenly gets romance, power and attention (plus multiple marriage proposals), so it’s more flashy, dramatic and romance-driven.
In short — Extraordinary feels like a cunning, slow-paced palace-drama with secrets and strategy; Be Yourself is more of a wild, supernatural ride full of cultivation-energy, romance, and transformation.

In the Name of Justice deals with the pursuit of a major criminal case that spirals into exposing the internal corruption and protective umbrellas shielding the guilty parties within the legal and enforcement system itself. Both fall squarely into the Serious Crime Drama and Suspense genre with a strong focus on Legal and Internal Affairs themes. They share a similar mature, tense, and realistic tone, emphasizing political maneuvering and investigation over simple action sequences.
Different setting, but both ML have enemies whom you will end up hating.
Both dramas share a message of perseverance.
Romance is not their focal point.

Also a story about a couple that was separated by a parent and fight them to be together and solve their misunderstandings. Chen Jin is also the evil mother.
Both are mini dramas in which the powerless, lower class FL schemes and plots her way through the royal harem in order to accomplish her goal. Both MLs have loved the FL since childhood but she keeps them at arms length.
