I'm adding this for the same reasons I added the first season of "Tientsin Mystic": same author as "Mountain God", same era, similar genre and topics.

The book this is based on was written by the same author who wrote "Tientsin Mystic". Both are set in the Republican Era and have a lot of similar themes: they are dramas with supernatural and horror elements who explore topics such as friendship, identity, societal expectations, revenge, and local myths and legends, as well as the space between dreams and reality.

Fashion student Chiaki dreams of seeing his designs on the runway, worn by none other than Ai—the charismatic male model who changed his life. When a prestigious competition promises to make that dream come true, Chiaki is fired up to win. But his hopes are dashed when he’s paired with the clumsy and unfashionable Enaga for the project. One fateful night, after a run-in with some delinquents, Chiaki is unexpectedly saved by his idol Ai. Even more shocking, Ai seductively offers to teach him how to have fun at night…

Caught between the alluring, mysterious model he worships and a clumsy, rough-around-the-edges classmate who can’t seem to stay out of trouble (but may be hiding a surprising secret), Chiaki faces a heart-pounding, pure boy’s love dilemma that will turn his world upside down!

kinda similar with an innocent guy getting framed for a crime they did not do and going to the jail, suffered, manipulated. It's the only similarity, completely different plots.

The monster of the week formula in both follow a game set-up, in Kuuga you get to see characters figure out the rules of these different games and see the world respond to constant monster attacks, the light, feel-good tone of Sentai is matched with the enduring hope and optimism of Kuuga's lead.

Both dramas involve a ghost MC who can disappear and reappear, Both have complex issues around ghosts and 'moving on'.

Interminable is historical and involves ghosts that did not move on or reincarnate, waiting for the other people in their lives to find them again.

Something in my room is present day and involves uncovering the mystery as to why the MC died and sorting out his unfinished buisiness.

Both are about two young, troubled high schoolers who find solace and belonging in each other. They also tackle darker themes like school bullying, child neglect, etc. Both ML's also end up in jail due to circumstances surrounding the FLs.
