In that the ML is the devil lord and the FL is a goddess. While here he is a ruthless general and she is a ghost.
They both are beautifully created fantasies!

FL lies and schemes her way into the elite. ML is mostly unaware. Lots of secrets, lies, and hidden connections everywhere. EVERYBODY LIES. There's a tonal shift in the second half where everything unravels and falls apart (and everyone rediscovers themselves... maybe? ?)

PL = Phantom Lawyer; TD = Taxi Driver

- The leads character development (past traumas, etc.) takes place as they close each case.
- Esom plays the FL who is a lawyer. Her character's persona is the same.

Differences:
- Esom is a Private Firm Lawyer in PL and a Public Prosecutor in TD
- PL client are ghosts who want to overcome their earthly sufferings to pass on peacefuly. TD clients are living people who want revenge.
- PL is more light-hearted, comparatively less serious and lots of slapstick comedy. TD is more dark-themed with limited comedy.
- ML is a softie in PL while TD's ML is thick-skinned and can fight really well.

Both dramas revolve around love that transcends time, fate, and even death. The core similarity lies in their storytelling style—deeply emotional, slow-burn romance with a strong fantasy element. In both series, the leads are bound by destiny, often separated by circumstances beyond their control, only to find their way back to each other again.

What makes them feel similar:

Reincarnation / fate-driven love – the idea that their love is inevitable
Bittersweet tone – lots of pain, sacrifice, and emotional build-up
Strong chemistry – the leads carry the story through intense emotional moments
Beautiful historical-fantasy setting – visually rich and atmospheric

Both shows are short, skit-style series with a deadpan/dry humor style. They’re also relatively low-budget and rely on fast-paced line delivery for the comedy.
