The plot about fake dating for a profit/gain of sorts and then turning into real feelings with the ex still being a influential character in the story.

Shiba Ryoma, a brilliant lawyer and youngest co-partner at a major law firm, meets the genius con artist Haruto at a bar. Eventually, they face a dangerous confrontation with great evil.

Both dramas revolve around the FL’s repeated attempts to defy her fate. Personally, I preferred the plot-writing approach in Fortune Writer~it felt more coherent and realistic.. whereas Above the Clouds turned into a messy, repetitive storyline. In Fortune Writer, the ML discovers the truth much later in the series, adding to the suspense, while in Above the Clouds, he becomes vaguely aware of the situation quite early on.

Nonetheless, both stories are deeply rooted in the same core theme: knowing one’s tragic destiny and desperately trying to rewrite it.

Similarities:
Both drama have bossy FL who are 1000 year old cursed with immortality, bold and dominating.

Same actor playing the ML .. in ferry of souls he is a yeilding yet caring employee whereas in don't forget me he is governor of the town caring and possessive.

In both drama ML helps the FL's ( infact he is the key to ) salvation

Differences:
*In FOS ML dies in th end while in don't forget me FL died.

Key Difference: Yes! I Do tends to focus more on commitment and serious dating decisions, whereas Exchange is slightly more casual and social-experiment-oriented, with lighter, playful interactions.

Exchange Season 4 and Heart Signal Season 3 are similar in several ways:
1. Dating/Relationship Experiment Format: Both shows focus on young adults exploring romantic connections while living together or participating in social experiments. The main idea is to observe emotional and romantic dynamics.
2. Real-life Interaction, Real Reactions: Instead of scripted drama, both rely on unscripted interactions where participants’ feelings evolve naturally.
3. Narrative Style & Commentary: Both shows use voice-over commentary from experts or former participants, providing insight into behavior and relationships.
4. Focus on Subtle Emotions: They both highlight tension, attraction, and misunderstandings rather than over-the-top conflicts, making viewers engage emotionally.
5. Audience Participation: Fans are encouraged to guess or analyze the couples, which adds a social media/interactive aspect to both shows.

Key Difference: Heart Signal has a more mature, psychological analysis angle, while Exchange is slightly more casual and fun-focused.

Essentially the same story set-up in both of a strong FL and a primary shadow guard ML plus 4 additional male consorts, however FL is reborn in [1] "Qing Huang Tian Xia" while it is a powerful princess transmigrating into a new body in [2] "Gong Zhu Jue Se, Ying Wei Ri Ri Yu Xia Fan Shang".

[1] One is reborn to change her life in pursuit of power, [2] the other is reborn with a new identity to strive towards the peak again. [2] also cuts down on some complicated family relationships (i.e., mother) and the vibe of the FLs are subtly different as their motivation diverge (as [1] returning from extreme despair and [2] is coming from the paramountcy of power).

These two dramas have quite overlapoing plots :

*Both dramas feature equally toxic male leads who imprison, humiliate, and subject the female leads to vile, sexually charged trash talking , all under the guise of “protection.”

**In Enslaved Love, the FL pretends to have lost her memory, while in Broken Heart, she escapes and undergoes plastic surgery to live under a new identity.
