Tae Pung (Typhoon Family) reminds me of Jang Geu-rae (Misaeng), someone who knows nothing about trade but is determined to overcome the challenges he faces. But while one of these dramas has a more romantic tone due to caracter’s nature and moves at a fast pace, the other is realistic, cold, and slow. The pace isn't distracting; it's actually quite engaging. While watching Typoon Family, I can't help but think of Misaeng because of the plot of trying to adapt to the business world, even though the atmosphere is different. These two dramas are examples of similar themes being tackled in two different ways, with two different perspectives and emotions. I loved both.
