The setting, the cinematography, family feud and politics etc everything reminds me of AoS. PoJ is AoS less fantasy/magical elements

In My Sweet Mobster, a CEO/ ex gangster falls for a struggling entertainer. In My Royal Nemesis, a monstrous chaebol falls for a Joseon villainess tranported into the body of a struggling actress. Both situations lead to hilarious consequences.

Both are short length dramas in which the modern day FL transmigrates into a fictional world with a Qing Dynasty setting (novel vs. drama) and becomes a maid at the palace. She tries to keep the story on track and falls in love with the cold prince.

Equally sad story that tackles homophobia and queer love under the guise of friendship. In Brake, the love is unrequited and ends on an uneven note. I highly recommend watching this.

The main plot in both involves exam prep using cram schools techniques. However, the real story is about the interaction between the teachers and the students which begin with alot of resistance and then grow into mutual respect and growth. Ends are tied up real nicely and the ending is realistic in both. I watched Dragon Zakura while prepping for a major exam and it was inspiring for me hehhehe.

Both are hilarious detective comedies but the formulaic straight man and funny man roles being the experienced detective and the rookie detective respectively. If you're not into Japanese humor then this might not be for you.

While Nobnaga no Chef has timeslip. Both feature mouth watering recipes, lots of umai and oishiiii xD But seriously, both feature young chefs who are able to discern their boss/ master's intent and relay that intent through food. Food with a message. If you love eating and /or cooking this is right up your alley.

Both feature strict teachers which at time seem very extreme in their actions and tsundere. They do provoke a conversation with the audience about the roles of teachers in society today particularly, Japanese society where teachers are expected to do more than just teaching beyond the walls of the classroom. These are dramas that require viewers to read between the lines and watch with an open mind.

similarities:
- A royal dealing with the modern world
- A headstrong FL who clings to the ML for her own survival.

differences:
- My Royal Nemesis is a modern fantasy that has dialed up the comedy a notch, and shows an enemies to lovers romance between two selfish individuals. For more information, watch the promotional material:

Innocent sidekick character paired with an intelligent eccentric male lead with a strange and mysterious gravitational pull that leave both the sidekick and us the audience wanting to know more about them. The eccentric male leads have an almost morbid curiosity that attracts them to the cases that they solve. Oh and the oversized coat and bed hair .
