Both main couples have a similar attack-defend dynamic, and there's quite a bit of aggression bordering on dubcon.

There is only 4 ep out on Netflix as I am writing this, but it is reminding me a lot of Nobunaga no Chef with the well known historical figure being fed food that is new and exciting by French Chefs.

Both chefs use their culinary skills and historic knowledge to make a meaningful meal and most importantly, keep themselves alive. I especially enjoy how the King and Nobunaga react to the meal with respect and genuine awe. I like how they are both smart but when they learn new words and cooking methods the chefs has used, they are eager to learn and understand. I imagine if they weren't foodies, the chefs would not have lasted at all.

Do they both change history? You'll have to watch for yourself.

We'll see how the endings differ but I if you enjoy food and history, you may enjoy Nobunaga no Chef.

Both are memorial. These are different stories, but they are about the same thing: that war is infinitely cruel.

Love as You Taste;

Love and food - always the perfect match! A collection of love stories and heartbreaks paired with each person’s favourite food cravings as they all fall in and out of love. The movie delves into the fate and conflicts of a sorrowful murderer who relies on the death of humans as the anchor of their life, intertwining past and present. Ryosuke discovers a notebook in his father's study, who has only a short time left to live. Written on the notebook is "Yurigokoro," and it contains the memories of a murderer. Ryouke is drawn intensely to the notebook despite harboring various doubts about its contents; whether they are fact or fiction, and what connection they have with his family.

During the 1980s, the Korean government created a special summer camp for "gyopo" or foreign-born teenagers where they could spend their summer in Seoul to learn about their motherland. While the intentions of the program were honorable, the activities of the teens were not. The program was eventually canceled after a few years because the government simply could not control the youth.

Lee Jung Hee is the second daughter of a family that owns a lingerie factory. She leads a group of teenage girls with whom they have chaotic adventures together. There's no investigation/detective in twelve letters but the mystery , angst and communicating with past/future kind of reminds me of signal .

Lee Bo Young's character commits a crime in both dramas and is on the run from the police in order to accomplish what she believes is right, but is considered illegal.
Lee Bo Young acts as a young girl's mother.
Each episode in both are pretty depressing.

Remake; same story different actors

"Chong Sheng Tuan Chong: Da Xiao Jie Mei Tian Zai Xian Da Lian" feels more comedic than "She Runs, He Chases, She Can't Fly"

Both are Taiwanese BL dramas whereby the main love interest has a secret crush on the main character and they go through some ups and downs before becoming a couple together.
