"My Dearest" is one of my all-time favorite K-dramas. When I was watching "The Tale of Lady Ok", I was amazed by the similarities between them. You wouldn't regret giving it a chance. I won't talk much as I don't want to spoil it. But they are similar in almost all aspects!

The greatest similarity is how they both show us that even time cannot come between their love for each other!

The other focuses on reliving a moment that is rewinding time out of the love for the significant other while the other focuses on sacrificing their time out of love for the significant other.

- Kingdom has only two season, while Alice in borderland currently has only three seasons
- Kingdom is set in Josean Dynasty
- Alice borderland is set in modern times, but is a space between life and death
- Alice in borderland is adapted from a manga, while Kingdom is adapted from a webtoon
- Kingdom is a South Korean Drama
- Alice in borderland is a Japanese Drama
- Kingdom is about a zombie virus spreading with power struggles, while Alice in borderland is about a death game, which is more pschological
- Alice in borderland has more romance then Kingdom does

Both are revenge themed historical dramas. The whole family/clan was massacred.
The male leads are extremely smart/genious and both don't really know how to fight.

If you like Dark Romance you'll love this series. Just give it a try. The production quality, acting, cinematography everything's just so perfect.
