Ran takes measurements of the opening and gets interrupted when the child yanks on somebody in the coop. The property manager was getting something when discovered. That conversation gets interrupted when the old man comes up to defend his chickens. There is a cute scene where she cracks the egg on her forehead. The scene forwards to 2015 and that is still her method to crack eggs. 🤣She pleads with the middle school principal for the student found with cleaver. The parents want immediate expulsion, but he agreed to delay things and reconsider if proof found he acted in self defense. Ran and He are back in the building. He is trying to smooth things for his daughter and Ran reminds him he wasn’t that considerate with his first case.😝Ran has had enough dealing with the old case when He tells him the local girl he likes still lives in YuanLongli. Then it goes back to 1997. Ran has taken XiaoHe to Ms Qiao while he investigates the building. She goes right for the coke and playing matchmaker between the grownups.😂🤣The old guy busybody is snooping and looking for payment for info. He wants to spread gossip about Ms Qiao so I enjoyed He dusting him with his cement dusted clothes.😂 The 2 goons show up to intimidate the bro in law to making a 300k contract with them. They were beyond settling for the 30k knife guy was owed. Lili talks to Ran and He and Sun’s name came up as a regular client for MengMeng. She also referred ZhiZhi to them as one more acquainted with Mr Sun. Ran is writing the bits of info meticulously in his ledger. ZhiZhi loves flirting with Ran😂🤣However they did learn he bought brand items to create knockoffs and that the real items were given to girls he liked. They speculate about Su and what may have given him motive to kill Meng. At Qiao’s place she is studying for an exam and XiaoHe is surprised grownups have to study. Ran and He are going to check both Sun’s shop and the Bowl’s store where he got the brand item. While they are discussing strategy Muse boss and bro in law plotting theirs. Originally it was just to embezzle money from Song. When she asked him straight up if MengMeng was alive or dead bro in law stated emphatically that she was cold stone dead as episode ends.

the sec the "old shopkeeper" was mentioned, i thought of He Chu San's father - now that would one hell of a twist. but Xie Jia Hua's father way more suspect so guess we will have to wait & see if we ever get a revel. as is i kept putting this off cause we already at the end. but heard that there is gonna be a 2nd seasons so lets hope it comes to fruition. ******************************from the start of this Bl Xia Liu Yi keeps getting hurt, it's ridiculous the amount of times he is bloody - if i was He Chu San i would've had white hair by now - what with the constant worrying. also well acted cause u could see the worry & fear in his eyes when he was cleaning & dressing Xia Liu Yi's wounds. also am happy he told him the truth about not having any disorder - that he plain liked/loved him... given Xia Liu Yi shocked look, guess he hasn't gotten used to the idea yet & we only got one last ep - ***********************************************************************************************************************************btw idk why the 2nd couple is even regarded as a couple - just cause they slept together (& there was no sleeping to speak off) so does a one-night-stand a relationship make?!? i don't think so. not to mention Lu Guang Ming had an ulterior motive, targeting & getting into Xie Jia Hua's bed. & what he has gotten out of him so far isn't the real reason he targeted him - that's clear that he is playing games - but to what end we still have to find out.
