Beautiful series. Sad moments, happy moments, conflict and conflict resolution. This show has all the feels and I’m so here for it. Duang learned how to be more emotionally mature and regulate his emotions and think more rationally from Qin not letting his emotions take over and make irrational decisions. While Qin learned how to have more emotional intelligence he learned to be more in touch with his feelings from Duang and how to lean on and put his trust in someone else and let people help him.

Sweet0Girl So good. The more romance the better. I could care less about the political stuff. I do hate that HJ told the Prime Minister about the plan. It was just so unnesessary for him to overhear and then be told. B/c of course he will betray her...

KJ2025 ChangNing was making excellent progress. Her thesis paper is just about finished and she might even get to graduate with her class. Yan Ling’s supervisor sympathized with her being cut from promotion and mentioned her getting a second chance by heading a committee sponsoring scholarships. What she later discovered is that Ding offered to donate 10 million to the school as long as she was heading committee. ChangNing is missing and Yan Ling finds her in the ocean trying to wash away memories of Feng. He had taken his new gf to their special place and she lost a lot of the ground she had developed in being free of him. Hopefully she will get back on track. Yan Ling comes home to find Dr Luo and her son making dinner and discussing care of the hamster. He is making her feel safer in his presence and he feeds her more biased info about the tattoo and her friend. He makes it sound so reasonable. YanLing’s ex is continuing class and fortunately not adept at hunting girls. His gf thinks he’s cheating and in a way it is, but he wants to find out more about what happened to his friend so he has to progress up the ranks to find out more. The class has already taught them how to manipulate photos and various techniques to evaluate women based on their temperament. Right when he’s ready to score his gf calls wanting to know what specifically he’s doing. Feng is changing his tactics for smarter and higher tier socially girls. Ding is not happy that YanLing retaliated by refusing to become part of the committee. He flips it on her and now the school is pressuring her to accept for that 10 million. He has withdrawn his donation unless she is part of the committee. He tells her to ask for it. He is using the same tactics he did when she was young. Both he and her mom blame her for her father’s death. That’s how the uncle got a foot in the door. She remembers it all too well and he knows she won’t tell because she wants to protect her job and her son. He is what Feng will become when he’s old.

This episode is a giant pile of stupid drama tropes. The writers are just throwing 'others' at the ML & FL to fill time and distract from the main romance plot. The 'funny' parts of this are not funny. Most of this episode is just cringe. And most of what happens in this episode will probably not matter at all for the larger story. Skip the whole thing and just know that they've introduced a couple of characters to try to create some sort of romantic drama with.

Loved how this episode played out in the end. The ml and fl continue to bring their A game. It was entertaining and full of climatic moments.

My favorite ep so far. I hate her father. Period, point blank!The King was so sweet when he went into her room to see how she was after the accident. Really loved the end of this episode. Byeon Woo Seok had me blushing. My God that man is gorgeous. Baby blue suits him. Quote of the Episode:P: You never learned to bend.HJ: You only know how to bend. That's why you lose to people beneath you. I asked you for status not a cozy cradle to hide from the world. Do not bend to their will. Do not back away and do not compromise. That's how you and I will both get what we want!

Same complaint as before. Everything about this show is great ... except there is way too much screen time given to Chenghuan's mother, who has shown no character growth at all and is just painful to watch now.

I would rate this episode a LOT higher except the Mom character is just totally dragging the show down now. They need to resolve things with her - either have her experience some sort of, "Ah-ha!", moment where she realizes what an awful, destructive mom she has been and turns over a new leaf or maybe just don't give her very much screen time or ... have her get hit by a bus. At this point, I don't care. She's just become insanely stupid to go along with her overbearing stubbornness and pettiness and it's just not pleasant to watch when she is on screen. This is not a knock on the actress. He Sai Fei is knocking it out of the park playing this character. It's just the character is just not someone I want to see so much of, especially since she is not growing or changing as a character.

She is a great actress. She has become someone I look forward too.I love their chemistry. It’s shocking because who could be as attention grabbing as Byeon Woo-seok? But IU has a certain mischievous child like yet pretty and elegance to her. So far so good. The only question in my mind is about the he “Lik King’s” mom? Why does she hate the prince so much? It’s only 2 episodes we shall see. But I will say I love how the brother and the father don’t like the fl but don’t want anyone else picking on her either, can’t wait to se more Woo-swim. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

nafisa Basically Huiju’s car got tampered with which is why the had gotten into the accident, and yian felt like it was his fault since she got involved with the crown and so broke off the relationship, AND JEONGU EVEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO PROPOSE SINCE ALL SHE WANTED WAS “STATUS”. And now after investigating the one who tampered with Huiju’s car was dead LIKE WHAT IM SO CONFUSED WITH WHO’S BEHIND IT. AND NOW TO ENSURE HUIJU DOESN’T GET BACKLASH THEY TRY TO MAKE IT SEEM AS THOUGH THEY ENDED THE RELATIONSHIP ON A GOOD NOTE BY INVITING HUIJU TO THE INNER COURT BANQUET FOR NOBLES EVEN THOUGH HUIJU A COMMONER. AND SO yian even KICKED HUIJU OUT of his house to “protect” her but then later she proves her point to yian by saying in order to protect someone you take on the offensive AND SO SHE ATTENDS THE BANQUET IN A WHITE MODERN SUIT, NOT WEARING THE TRADITIONAL OUTFIT THAT WAS PROVIDED, WHICH PISSED YIRANG OFF AND IT WAS THE SAME COLOUR AS YURANG’S OUTFIT WHICH WAS DISRESPECTFUL. SO DURING THE BANQUET THEY WERE TAKING A WALK IN THE HEAT, WHICH WAS AFFECTING HUIJU AND SINCE SHE WAS A COMMONER, SHE WAS AT THE BACK OF LINE UNTIL YIAN ARRIVED AND THEY LINKED IN THE ARMS AND YIAN TOOK HUIJU TO THE FRONT SINCE HIS RANK OUTRANKED EVERYBODY, SO NOW IM ASSUMING THEY’RE STILL TOGETHERRR.

So after the whole scandal and the kiss, the royal family decide to reveal that Huiju and .yian are in a relationship but have no plans for marriage since the public would be enraged if yian would marry a commoner. Afterwards, Huiju takes yian to a baseball game where jeongu was also there and it gets revealed that the prince can’t eat street food and afterwards they go to a seafood restaurant since jeongu mentioned Huiju had wanted to go before and yian tagged along since he got jealous of how close Huiju was with jeongu, and it also gets revealed that he can’t eat seafood due to the high risk of food poisoning, and then Huiju asks what other restrictions he experienced and he remembers back when he was just a kid and he got slapped MY POOR YIAN THAT SCENE WAS SO SAD BRO I WAS GONNA CRY ALL BECAUSE HE WORE HIS BROTHER’S ROBE AND IT WAS THE CROWN PRINCE’S AND IT APPARENTLY “MOCKED” HIS AUTHORITY. And later on, Huiju learns how yian lost his relatives one by one, his mother from a car crash in 2005, and his father from a heart attack in 2012, and his brother in a fire 2023, AND HIS BROTHER PROBABLY WANTED TO ABDICATE BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT TO LOSE HIS PLACE FROM THE THRONE LIKE HIS PARENTS DID DUE TO DEATH. So Huiju feels pity for yian on how he lost his relatives and calls him during his work time and comforts him by saying she’s always on his side. Afterwards, yiyun comes out of school and sees all the kids having fun together, and he mentions he wants to have fun so instead of having his history lesson with prime minister jeongu, he gets him to drive to yian’s house, and Huiju was there so everybody was playing with him and he won, and they made a wish beforehand that if he won he would be granted a wish, and so he wanted to drive in Huiju’s car, and at first they said no, since the car wasn’t approved, but he through a tantrum saying he was king (HE WAS SCREAMING IN THE FLOOR I WAS DYINGG) and afterwards he was allowed but suddenly as Huiju tried to put the brakes it didn’t work and it accelerated instead, so she went abridge and put the car against the railings, to try and stop it, and some random car, who we thought was jeongu’s car that was trailing yiyun and Huiju to ensure their safety, went in front of them to try slow them down but then the bridge and railing ended so the other car accelerated and stopped fully in front of them causing Huiju and yiyun to crash into the car. BUT GUESS WHO IT WAS?? IT WAS YIAN WHO CAME BACK FROM WORKK. AND BRO YIRANG SO DESPERATE TO GET YIAN MATCHMAKED WITH SOMEBODY ELSE LIKE CAN’T SHE JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE.

Her Gentleman I always try to anticipate what could come in the story next.But, man, I did not expect the storyline to go this way.It was developed and paced so nicely (and also maybe the effect of characters developing themselves since Episode 1) that I teared up.For those who have seen this episode, hope it all goes well. IYKYK

This episode was good in many respects. It had a nice kick off for Chenghuan's tenure as manager of Xing'Anli, gaining the trust and respect of her staff. And it also featured a "I like you" confession from Zhiming! The negatives were (a) he immediately chickened out and pulled it back awkwardly and (b) Zhang is setting up to be a stereotypical scheming c-drama villain who behaves irrationally. It would be nice if the writers used a little more creativity for the 2nd-half conflict for the show.
