was a bit weary starting this (even though i was really looking forward to it, but that was...) before i read a load of comments that basically said the main actress can't act. watching this 1st ep i am wondering what the hell they were talking about. did they want her over reacting to ever scene, like "emotions for dummies"?!? she is the Queen, she has to be reserved, cool, calm & distant. no matter what she is feeling, she can't act/react like a normal woman would. she has a position to think off. let alone enemies all around her, just watching for weakness. **************************************************************************from what i saw ,there was plenty of emotions - a wide range going across her face, each appropriate to the situation she was experiencing. so i really don't get what a lot of commenter's were going on about.****************************************************************************************************************************************************this ep was kinda epic, it was well acted by all, the battle scenes were brutal & the court intrigue was infuriating, bordering on treasonous (but nothing new there, that's basically the full time job of court official's).**********************************************************************************************************************************************but i am shocked that already in this 1st ep we lose the king (even though this a short drama) i didn't expect we would lose the king so soon.

In episode 4 when XiaFengHua asked her mom who's more beautiful and her mom gives her a mixed answer bitter and sweet and when she start to praise her she was really happy and its showing how she really pure nice personality it's really sensitive question for the girls because we know the answer but we want a praise to building our confidence and also the way everyone was asked about mai sy in the morning it's really hurt if it was me i will be big dramaqueen and feelings extremely sad to be honest but xiafenghua eccept her feelings and you can feel she's really sad but never express that and keep it to herself and move on and that's will hurts her in the future i really start to grow big feelings for XiaFengHua and i want to protect her and hug her she start to being cool and careless to protect her emotion Omg many small details in this drama it's been a while for those kind of drama I think who loves korean dramas as reply,,my ajushi ,,,,my liberation notes will love this deep drama 🩵

LY and GY have chicken soup😂 This was very cute but poor GY ……he is completely friend zoned. He has been nothing but sweet and she is just so oblivious. I am wishing him massive turtle luck. 🐢 It was a bit mean how SCC handled the date at the tennis court but I am giving her a pass because TQ was an ass about the flowers. He started that farce to protect her from mean girl colleague and he owed SCC a heads up that they were cancelled. Especially when she was the one buying them. He could have ended that on a better note to let her save face. All the psychoanalysis TQ did worked well for the ladies to get FJ out of the picture for him. The rainbow stairs scene was perfection. All the comments about Li Landi not doing much acting….she gave it in spades in this scene. I have no idea how this author is gonna get these two together, but if this is any indication of the potential between them…there is not gonna be any lack of chemistry. This scene was absolutely beautiful.
