find it ironic that the dude paying Arashi is the youngest here. he for sure younger then the dude playing Rei. talking about ironic, is Rinka finally noticing a guy that has decided to move on \(〇_o)/cause she never gave him the time of day(ノへ ̄、) also am i wrong about Kai?!? still not 100% sure

yeah there is a lot of over acting (especially by Rei), but he is so cute that i can forgive this. the scene in the car was hot. he & Arashi got blazing chemistry. so not shocked he went from hating him to promising Arashi he would fall for him. *******************************************************************************************************************************************Kai on the other hand have a feeling he is crushing on his bf. why Fuma decide to back him idk - does he know him?

The First Frost Episode 16

I first came across this drama through Instagram reels, and when I was in the right mood, I finally decided to watch it. One of the comments mentioned that it was available on YouTube, so I searched for it and found a 10-episode drama titled The First Frost. I watched it till the end, only to realize that it wasn’t actually the one I had been looking for. Instead, I had just finished Reset—which, to my surprise, turned out to be an incredible drama as well. That was the moment I started to take notice of Bai Jingting. Intrigued by his performance, I searched for more of his dramas and eventually found the real The First Frost that I had initially wanted to watch. What can I say? This drama was absolutely worth it. Despite being a slow-burn romance, I found myself completely hooked, episode after episode. The storytelling and character development were beautifully executed, drawing me into their world effortlessly. The actors delivered outstanding performances, making every moment feel authentic and emotionally resonant. After watching, I explored other reviews and noticed a mix of opinions. Some viewers felt the drama was overhyped, possibly because it’s a sequel to HL, while others were disappointed with the change in cast. However, from my point of view, The First Frost stands strong on its own. While it shares a similar coming-of-age setting—depicting high school life and its aftermath—its storyline remains unique and engaging. Interestingly, I didn’t even realize at first that it was connected to HL. Yet, even after knowing that, I still believe that this drama holds its own value and is not solely dependent on the popularity of HL.As for the cast change, I personally didn’t find it to be a major issue. The actors in The First Frost portrayed their characters remarkably well, bringing depth and sincerity to their roles. Overall, I genuinely believe this drama is worth watching, whether or not you’ve seen HL. It’s an emotionally rich and well-crafted story that leaves a lasting impression.

so many cringe moments, but i kinda love Rei - he so freakin hyperactive, it is cute in a energetic little puppy way. wondering there towards the end, does his bf have a crush on him? or am i reading things wrong ???Arashi totally got the bad-boy vibe down, he is hot & he knows it - the question is Rei just a fling, Arashi capable of wanting to be with someone for more then a night

It turned out to be better when reading the manhwa. Here the director messed up the story too much, so it became uninteresting.Wen Yifan's character is indeed beautiful and gentle but looks stupid, does not get meaningful and substantial dialogue. Quite disturbed by music that does not match the conditions. Compared to the previous sequels which are very memorable in terms of story, characters and music that is often played and helps build a sweet atmosphere. Yes, maybe the genre and story are different, but at least make it memorable. Romantic atmosphere is given a romantic song, a sad atmosphere and full of emotion too. But this does not come together At all.Secondly, the second couple actually attracted attention with their funny behavior. It's a shame, even though our main characters are talented and amazing, they are given a lot of parts. But the conversations and things in them are not important at all for character development.I'm starting to stop watching it, and waiting for the end. There might be something interesting. But for now it's very lacking. There are several advantages, namely cinematography and the handsome face of the main actor 🙂

crap ending - but i am the odd one out. i get leaving cause u r not ready to confess ur love, as that will cause problems with the aunt u care for. u might even not be ready to 'come out of the closet' to ur 1st love & get rejected (cause his wanting something psychical might turn out to be experimentation & once he is "spent" he might regret his actions). but if u have decided to hurt the person u love (& it's clear for anyone with eyes, that Ho Tae was hurting, it was soul deep hurt) why the back & forth?! ***********************************************************************************************************why come back? why act worried & come to the hospital room - take the chance to rub salt into his wounds?!? then come back yrs later? what now ur ready or this back to square one, where ur platonic bff's?!? & think what annoyed me more is Ho Tae, not living his life - just existing in a void waiting for Dong Hui to come back, so he/they can resume something.. what, is left open - & this a perfect BL/ending?! miss me with this sh*t********************************************************************************************************************************************this could've been better if there was more time to plot this story out & have a much more satisfying end if we didn't get this inconclusive end - sadly this turned out to be a waste of time & it is a pity as the acting & plot was really good until this ep. just disappointing*****************************************************************************************************************************************edited add on: after writing this, Dong Hui seemed to stick in my mind & then the penny dropped; this the back story to the side couple in Unintentional Love Story. so we know how this develops & as that is the future, i guess this ending is logical. still don't like it much, but it is what it is...

this the 2nd BL i've watched recently, where a sunflower was given to the one they love... as this my favorite flower, this was a sweet perk. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************the only reason Dong Hui is running away is cause of Ho Tae's mother, he doesn't want to hurt her or cause her the same type of pain his parents r suffering. this a bitter sweet ep. still don't like how he hurt Ho Tae, even though there no real other go at this point in time. frustrating to watch.

Ho Tae asking for kissing lessons lol, dude can teach q(≧▽≦q) i think this the 1st kiss (literally & figuratively) it was hot & not the usual touching of lips, that goes on in K-romcoms & dramas. both time is was fire. Dong Hui got some self restrain, cause even if u aint in-love it's easy to get carried away (in the moment) when u r this sexual charged (❁´◡`❁)********************************************************************************************************************************************also Ho Tae a moron, what every girl that comes to him, heart in hand he says "yes", so he is dating multiple girls at a time?!?(ノへ ̄、)******************************************************************************************************************************************side note: that epilogue was weird, what was worrying in seeing Dong Hui cry on Ho Tae, even if Ho Tae had been hugging & comforting Dong Hui when he was crying it wouldn't seem suspicious to me \(〇_o)/ & the look on Ho Tae's mother face was like she caught them doing something naughty - weird

"Some things are more important than life". Xu Qi An is brilliant here, this episode is a masterpiece. Emotional pain, search for justice, anger when seeing those guardians being abusive and misunderstanding of Wei Yuan's decision. The acting is so brilliant here, Wang Hedi truly reached a new level. I cried so hard.

This episode was so beautiful. I am curious about Wei Yuan story and he is portrayed as a cool guy in Li Yuchun's eyes. Very interesting development with this arm under water and guys in the desert. Why does it have such an effect on Xu Qi An? This scene between princess and XQA - ah, the way I screamed. But hilariously, after that she dropped in the middle of nowhere. Our AnAn never fail to amuse us.
