Lesbian wedding much?

I ended up liking this episode. I was worried they were going to make Ollie the bad guy, and I'm happy they didn't. I really appreciate the reforging of the friendship between the two girls. I think a lot of people won't like this episode because it isn't a typical criminal case (or even a criminal case at all), but I liked it still. I don't get held up on what "should" and shouldn't be in a show just because of a premise or outside opinion. It was just as dark and twisty as all the other episodes... except we had an almost lesbian wedding!!! I am so happy they are on their way to repairing their friendship, and I'm by no means saying they should be lesbians. I hope they have a beautiful friendship and together repair the trauma in their hearts. I am just saying it also was a beautiful depiction of two girls as the centerpiece of a wedding, and a beautiful woman replaced a man and she loves her and would treat her better than the man. It's the celebration of their love, and we don't have to pin a definition on the type of love. We can just love two girls in beautiful dresses in the place of husband and wife. We don't see this hardly ever, and we will probably be seeing it less if the US's dictator has anything to say about it.Also, Shen Yi, you are a compassionate genius. I wish you the most positive mental health in the episodes to come.

The Duel was good, how he brought pride to their Pilgrimage Hall. And it's good to see that finally Shanggu has become mature and no matter if Gu Jun won or lost, she had decided to go into the Netherworld for cultivation and won't return until she gains the power of the Chief True God, I liked that about her. But that immortal in the Netherworld, I can't figure out what he's planning, and asking her to visit him often, just what is he planning. The barrier plan might someday backfire leaving her in danger. But still Bai Jue left his immortal body in God Realm and his Spirit went to the Netherworld, even though it'll shorten his life span, he's willing to do anything to protect her.

I actually loved this series up until the main protagonist tried to blackmail the lead female, calling her a murderer for the suicide of her brother a would be rapist. Something seems to have been lost in translation, as in the UK a would be rapist would have been held in contempt, and the victim would have been supported regardless as to wether the assailant committed suicide or not. (Good Riddance would have been the general consensus) Here she would have been arrested and held in the same contempt as her brother if She had tried this. Therefore the plot becomes meaningless and extremely annoying that anyone could be bullied into this situation. Acting was superb but I couldn't watch anymore as the plot became farcical. DROPPED

Ep 7 is silly fun and the slow-burn build-up to romance is delicious. I think that was the most romantic handshake I've ever seen. And his intimately-private personal anecdote beforehand made it especially poignant. (No touch! It reminded me of Mr. Queen. 😝)But their potato war was absolutely ridiculous. She should have won that argument, even before doing all that additional research. Her response to his criticism of the scab disease was perfect (adding sulphur and regulating moisture), while his counter to the phytophthora blight was flawed. Who else was frustrated that she did not catch his error right away? (Please post your 🙋🏻in the replys, and we can form a support group.)I'll explain it for the kids sitting in the back rows: Adding spaces between the plants will reduce the overall harvest (Kg/sq Km), negating the reason to move to a higher-production species in the first place. Duh! She should have pointed that out, and mentioned that the increased expense for sulphur and labor time to water Maroo in would be far less than the reduced output & income resulting from leaner fields of Marshall! (The writing in dramas these days can be so frustrating, sometimes. Don't you agree?)I'm just hoping they make up and agree to grow both for or an ongoing basis. Introducing redundancy is not a bad thing. Even a trial period would be a welcome compromise. If either disease crops up, production will be reduced, but not ruined. And growers will be able to express a choice. Potato researches would still be in need. And win-wins are the definitive happy endings for romcoms.
