Reverse Harem Detective Tea Drama
This drama is so witty and lighthearted fun from the first episode. I love when a reverse harem is done right. Many different personalities to see with the suitors as well as with the sisters.Strong character types for the main leads. Neither being overly strong in any one area but both well rounded in their own ways, challenging each other until the very last episode.
There is a lot on historical tea plantations and the process of producing a quality product as well as the impact of such a family on society. I haven't seen a drama show these things before, so this adds to that new and refreshing feel.
The scenes and sets are lovely and feel big and expansive. The pacing is great; the storyboarding is great. The plot has felt a little lost in episodes 10-15, but it's fun to see any of the characters interacting so I haven't minded this too much. But the drama brings this back on track by episode 16. Everything from episode 17 until 36 builds and gets more engaging with each episode. Fun until the very end :)

Thrilling push to the edge!
Spectacular acting from everyone. A bit of an over the top storyline and themes, but it worked. The characters had great chemistry and really draw you in to the story. Each one had something unique about them. It is a thrilling Whodunit ...I was disappointed that I was able to guess who the rat was... way before it was revealed. That was the only slight let down.
Outdoor weddings have their benefits huh?!

Please Junho be in a show with a better script
First of all, I watched this for Junho and only Junho. I don't really care for superhero type stories to begin, so I wouldn't have watched it or finished it if it weren't for him.Positives!
-I liked how short it was. It didn't try to drag the story out at all which was nice.
-Great cast! Obviously, I love Junho, but I also loved seeing Lee Chae Min and Shin Su Hyun too.
-The action scenes and effects were pretty cool.
-We got to see Junho shirtless and who doesn't love that
-Sang Ung & Min Suk's relationship was pretty cute most of them time.
-I liked Cho Nathan as a villain!
-LOVED Se Eun as a villain!
Negatives
-The point of Jeong Ja's character was almost pointless. I know it wasn't, but the character seemed like such an afterthought. She was barely in it.
-Cho Anna was just not an intimidating villain at all.
-Ho In annoyed me the entire show
-The concept was okay. Personally, I found it kind of lame that all their powers had such dumb limits. It made it a little annoying more than anything.
-The storyline with cops was always kind of stupid and useless, like most cop plotlines in these shows to be honest.
-Sang Ung's dad
Sang Ung's dad is the real villain of the show. What kind of dad passes down sh*tty powers and explains absolutely nothing about it?! And gives him the number to Jeong Ja in case he needs help, but she's literally a LOAN SHARK who he owes BILLIONS to?! TF?!?!
Overall, this show was pretty mid. Not bad but not good.

DMD Friendship the Reality, It Takes Two

Not Only Friendship was Found in this Show but a Partnership
I’ve been meaning to watch this show for a long time but never got the chance to watch it since I’ve been so busy, but I finally got to watch DMD Friendship the Reality, It Takes Two. This show was really enjoyable and I was really grateful that this was a show because I haven’t watched the first season which I should’ve, but I genuinely wanted to watch this season mainly for TeeTeePor and AuauSave since I’ve been following Por and Auau since they debuted in DVI which was a long time ago. I liked the concept of this show since I feel it’s good for a couple to mutually choose each other instead of being assigned to each other which is common in the industry, but what I liked about it is that everyone had the option to choose someone they liked, felt comfortable with, basically everything that you would experience if they were a real life couple instead of an acting couple and I feel that’s very important especially for real chemistry since this show let everyone hang out and learn more about the person they were interested with and even though it was awkward at times they will eventually get used to it, but they will have good chemistry and a good friendship. What I also liked about this show is that not only did actors find their partners, but they also got the opportunity to make more friends under the Domundi and they got to be friends and make friendships with people under Gen 4 instead of them never getting to meet each other due to their schedules and only meet through events. Also I may spoil some parts of the show so be aware.Honestly this show made me actually more obsessed with couples I didn’t think I would be obsessed with and I found new actors that I love. I would say the only bad part of this show was adding people in later on since I felt it did give those people less chances for getting to know people or it had a good effect since it did lead to many people finding there partner. Anyways these were my opinions on everyone. I am gonna be honest I haven’t seen First Prince yet but I have watched the trailer so I knew Jimmy and Ohm were gonna be a couple and I have seen many TikToks of Jimmy and Ohm and I love their vibe since they are actually really funny together and I do feel that when I was watching this show they were like a real life couple because Jimmy was one of the latecomers but when he came he was like attached to Ohm and they were cute and it was hard to not feel this was a dating show because of how they acted but I think this is the good part of the show since it shows that Jimmy and Ohm have actual chemistry and I honestly can’t wait to see them in Magic Lover (praying it comes out this year). I knew Latte and Kim were gonna be a couple since I’ve seen TikTok’s of them together, but I wasn’t as interested in them that much since I didn’t know either of them and they haven’t been in a show together yet so I haven’t seen anything of them but I will watch the first season so I can see how Latte was and learn more about him, but I will say that I loved Kim since I feel he’s a genuine and nice person and he deserved the award for the friendliest person (I think that was what it was) since he connected with everyone and knew how to make everyone feel more comfortable with not only him but with everyone else and I especially loved him for talking to Save when he was down about Auau not picking him during the first episode since it showed that Kim is a nice person. I have seen Net in his previous shows with James and I loved him so much and I was actually a fan of his when him and James “broke up” and I remember crying for him and seeing his sad face on a livestream and I am so grateful that he met JJ since I actually love him so much and I feel he’s such a good person. I loved both Net and JJ in this show and I don’t care if Net was a latecomer because it was obvious that JJ was gonna be with Net since they’ve been together forever and I’m not 100% sure if JJ was announced for Love Upon a Time and as a partner of Net before the show aired, but I love JJ since he’s also like Kim where he is very sweet and caring of others and makes a lot of jokes that make everyone laugh and I especially liked his heart to heart conversation with Net where they both said why they want each other and their past where they have experienced a bad relationship which I feel makes their relationship together much more stronger and I love that Net now has JJ. Honestly there isn’t much I have to say about Ryujin since he joined much later than everyone else and I wasn’t a big fan of him literally on the day of picking your partners that he basically said to Auau during Friendship time that he basically liked everyone in the house for an option to be his partner and I honestly feel he isn’t that interested in being a couple with Patji since they barley spoke that much on the show and in the end he choose himself which I won’t judge but it’s good to want to strengthen your skills before you commit to being in a partnership. One of my new favorites in Patji and I just started watching the 3 season of this show for Patji since I really hope he can find a partner since I know he wants one and I literally want someone good to be with him since even though he’s young and has a lot more to learn he is really talented and mature since he didn’t give up after loosing but worked harder which lead to him being in the top 3 for best performance and I also liked his character in Your Sky which is also why I liked him and him and Por’s relationship was adorable since they were like brothers and I loved the ghost ship of “PatjiPor.” Now time for my favorites which is AuauSave and I also wanted to watch this series not only for Auau but also for Save since he’s so adorable and I love him so much that he’s become one of my favorites and I literally loved how Save set his eyes on Auau and wanted him no matter what and I literally was so sad for Save when Auau didn’t pick him for the friendship time in the first episode like he was so sad he barley even ate, but I’m glad he ended up getting his friendship time where he got to make an egg rug but didn’t want it to took Auau’s cat rug and I think that was when Auau wanted him as well. What I liked the most about AuauSave is that they both helped make each other more confident and stronger in their skills for example Auau said that Save helped raise his confidence and comforted him when he was sad and Save said Auau helped him strengthen and become confident in his singing and dancing even know he doesn’t have the skills like Auau. I also was smiling so hard after they choose each other because Auau was so said when Save didn’t walk in but Save was late because he was afraid Auau didn’t pick him but when they saw each other they were so happy and their pictures were adorable. I literally almost started crying when Auau had his talk with Por since I know that they’ve been through so much together since they were in DVI together which was such an amazing group but their label terminated every artist under their label which included DVI which meant that they disbanded which devastated me a lot since I really loved them and it’s hard to describe what they both went through after that and what I glad is at least they are the two DVI guys that are constantly together I’m glad they are both in the same company together since personally I feel Auau and Por need each other since they both know what each other went through and their relationship is way different from a friendship that they will gain from being in this show and Auau is honestly an amazing person who is really talented and I am glad that he won the Best Performance award after being runner up or in the running for first in almost every mission and it shows that you should never give up but work harder since that’s what he did and he won an award for it! I am also glad that he is now in DEXX since he can live his idol dreams again along with being an actor with Save where they will star in Mr. Fanboy together and I am glad that he has Save since Save is a very good person and they both deserve each other especially after their chemistry in Your Sky. Now for TeeTeePor I love both TeeTee and Por so much and I love watching DEXX’s MV’s for them since they are both not only a good singer but and an amazing dancer which is literally why they won the best partner award especially after their performance together since they both compliment each other a lot and are perfect together. I loved seeing Por be all flustered and shy around TeeTee especially whenever they would talk because Por would always be smiling and adorable which I love seeing since after what he’s been through and Por has always been an amazing singer and personally was one of the best singers in DVI. Also TeeTee and Por might be an amazing couple since they won every reward that they got when they were a couple and I loved their performance of their robot show since TeeTee is an adorable robot and Por was such an adorable master since he got so flustered by TeeTee and even though they improvised through the script they both did so amazing and I was so relieved, happy, and proud that they won that mission and P’ Aof picked them to win. Also I am so excited for Duang with You to come out this month like I literally can’t wait any longer!!!
Anyways I loved this show a lot because it made me love more actors which means I will watch their series and I loved the concept of this show since it’s a mutual partnership with real chemistry and friendship instead of the company picking them to be together where their might be no chemistry. Also everyone was really talented and actual good singers on this show that they should make a group with Gen 4. Also I will say that this show did make me smile and giggle a lot and satisfied my needs of seeing couples interact after their shows ended or waiting for their new show together and it did make it feel that this was a dating show instead of reality show which made me much happier. Anyways I do recommend watching this especially if you want to watch a couple or learn how they got together or you’re waiting for their show to come which might take months but need to see them together ASAP and honestly you won’t regret watching this because it’s really fun.

Congrats to the TUS team 👏 for bringing these actors to the small screen. They truly deserve respect for giving us such a wonderful show🎬❤️
For those expecting intense, passionate romance, this might not be for you — but it’s definitely for me🥰. I love the subtle, light romance, where each character grows into understanding what pure love really is🌸💛
And who said TSY and HMH don’t have chemistry?!😳 You crazy??? Of all the BTS I’ve seen of HMH, his smiles and laughters here are so different😆💖 — there’s a hint of shyness 🙈 and a dash of giddiness. It’s like seeing him for who he really is, as a person. I just can’t explain it😭😄
I would highly recommend this to everyone — yes, you, you, you… go watch it!🎉🎬✨

The Camellia that could've been an easy 10!
It deserves the 8/10, BUT the crime story was dragged and wasn't really well-written, it was all over the place. I also really disliked every scene with Gyu Tae and the ex with his wife, it's sad because I love both Oh Jung Se and Yeom Hye Ran. The best character development of the show is 100% Hyang Mi. Son Dam Bi was so good in this role. At first she made me dislike her character, then it was a complete 180.The 2 main leads were cute and fun together, I didn't feel it was cringe for a minute, even tho sometimes it was a childish romance, and the rest of the cast is likable as well, but this drama could've been a 10/10 without this serial killer or at least a better-written crime story. The whole family drama and love story could've carried the show alone, to be honest.
Im Sang Choon really shines as a writer when she writes character dramas, not crime stories.
The OST and directing were also great!
This is a must-watch if you can ignore the dragged-out crime story, because it's a heartwarming love story about family and romantic love as well.

A Beautifully Made Story with Slight Narrative Loss
This drama demonstrates excellent production values, with thoughtful choices in casting, cinematography, music, and overall direction. Each element complements the others, resulting in a cohesive and well-rounded viewing experience. From the opening scenes, it is evident that great care was taken in selecting the cast, as the actors not only resemble their characters but also bring them to life in a convincing and natural way. The leads, Yang Yi / Yang Si Ho and Xu Nian Nian, deliver performances full of depth and nuance. Their chemistry is particularly noteworthy; the director carefully crafted their interactions to display genuine rapport, comfort, and mutual understanding. Watching their scenes together feels effortless and authentic, enhancing the emotional impact of the story. The supporting cast also contributes significantly to the drama’s overall quality. Each character has been thoughtfully developed, with clear backgrounds and motivations that allow them to shine individually while supporting the main narrative. Their interactions with the leads and each other feel genuine, adding richness and diversity to the storytelling. The production design, cinematography, and music further elevate the series, creating a visually pleasing and emotionally engaging experience that complements the actors’ performances. The soundtrack is carefully chosen to enhance the tone of each scene without overshadowing it, and the cinematography captures both the intimacy and grandeur of the story’s key moments.
However, despite its many strengths, the drama is not without its flaws. Certain deleted or condensed scenes resulted in moments of ambiguity and slightly weakened some story arcs. Specifically, the reasons behind Xu Nian Nian’s low grades, despite her consistent diligence and high performance in other areas, were not fully explained, which may leave viewers questioning her motivations. Additionally, her decision to end the relationship was presented in a way that lacked clarity. It remains uncertain whether her choice was influenced by rivalry with Yang Yi / Yang Si Ho or if there were other underlying reasons, which may leave some viewers feeling that an important emotional element was missing.
Despite these minor issues, the drama succeeds in delivering a compelling narrative with well-developed characters, strong performances, and excellent production values. The chemistry between the leads, in particular, is a highlight, creating moments that feel authentic, heartfelt, and memorable. The supporting cast, music, and cinematography all work together harmoniously, making the series enjoyable and engaging from start to finish.
Overall, this drama is a rewarding watch, offering both emotional depth and visual appeal. While the narrative could have benefitted from retaining some deleted scenes to clarify character motivations and certain plot points, the strengths of the performances, chemistry, and production more than compensate for these minor gaps. Fans of well-acted, visually appealing, and emotionally engaging dramas will likely find this series highly satisfying.

this is a messy review !!!
Overall I really did enjoy this kdrama but there are a few things that i wish could have been different. The main thing i wish could have been different was the whole plot twist on who actually did it. I feel like it was kinda lacking considering the reason behind all of it was totally stupid (though maybe there was something i was missing) another thing i really would have liked to see was them playing around with the idea that Mo eun was able to escape and keep tabs on An yun su. This really made her "witch" image a lot stronger than what it was and honestly made her a bit more scary. Another minor thing that was bugging me is, where is the baby!! i found myself wondering this for a lot of the show because it felt like she was always being passed off to someone. I totally understand that An yun su is busy doing as she does but its like if your baby is a big motive and reason behind what you do why isnt she present more (again i understand yun su is busy) Other than these few things the drama was awesome and im glad i found it when i needed something hooking and long to binge !!Was this review helpful to you?
Cool fresh idea with decent cast and somehow they still f*ck it up
✨ THE GOOD (IT STARTED STRONG, I SWEAR):The concept isn’t bad at all , matter fact it's kinda new at the begining , superhero vibes with a local twist? I was in.
Cast is solid, production tries, and the opening episodes actually give you hope.
For a second, it feels like it might cook.
🙄 THE “THIS IS FALLING APART” PACKAGE:
Then the clumsiness kicks in as a son of a b*tch.
The story feels incomplete, like half the script went missing midshooting.
Rules aren’t clear, stakes wobble, and scenes don’t connect the way they f*cking should!
🤦 THE “WHO IS THIS FOR?” ENERGY:
As an otaku and comic nerd with assisting and production experience for you to not threw it at my face , this one hurts.
It borrows superhero aesthetics without understanding why they work ,
and what really f*cking bothers me is they had actualy a descent idea to start with.
Feels less like a love letter to the genre and more like cosplay with a budget.
💔 THE “WASTED POTENTIAL” DEPARTMENT:
Good staff. Good cast. Decent idea and even a lovely VFX.
But the execution? Sloppy, rushed, and weirdly hollow.
Even when it reminds me of the early comic days and howclassic but it's not even that , still f*ck no!
🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
A superhero show that looks the part but doesn’t respect the genre enough to earn it.
✔ Watch if: You’re curious and very damn forgiving.
❌ Skip if: You love comics, manga, or superhero storytelling done with any damn care.
🦸 Best paired with: Frustration, comic-book standards, and the urge to say “they didn’t do get sh*t of it.”

Not what I expected
Where do I start with this story. Yes it's about relationships. Yes it's about love, in all it's forms, but fundamentally it's about the individual, and how they handle their own feelings. From the start you could sense the female lead was searching for something. Maybe it was love, maybe it was just her own sense of self worth. Who really knows, because even by the end of this very complex series, I don't think she really understood herself, but I did get the feeling that no matter what, the relationship she had with the male lead was what kept her from going completely under. The male lead himself had issues. Never truly giving himself to someone. A player if you will. Just looking for the next conquest, and not caring about the aftermath of persuing someone in that way. That is until he meets the female lead. A man who admired butterflies, ended up falling for a real life one in human form. The way he still played his usual tricks. His charm offensive in order to get a woman into bed. He became unstuck when he had genuine feelings for the female lead, and everytime he tried to play it like before, he got himself hurt the most. The drama is both frustrating and realistic in equal measure. The way neither of the male and female lead could admit their true deep feelings for each other. The way they listened to the gossip instead of talking truthfully to each other. Misunderstandings on both sides carried on until the final episode. I never understood why they never cleared up this blackhole between them. I also didn't understand fully the relationship the male lead had with the girl from his past. Between the lines you get the feeling they were exes, but she was just as toxic as him, and most of the time I just felt the urge to go into the screen and slap her one. She didn't want him, but was jealous when he would be with the female lead. Between his mother and herself no wonder he found it hard to express his feelings to the woman he loved. This was a love story. A love story for the 21st century. No true happily ever after in the sense of the word, but a understanding that no matter how much emotional pain they might inflict on each other, they were willing to take a chance on each other. They were willing to be their for one another and find their way to a fulfilling relationship.
What I liked about this series was that it didn't sugarcoat how messed up people's feelings and relationships can be. Even all their friends could not get over the trauma of working out what they wanted in a relationship. In the end they all found their own path. Realising that relationships take work from both sides, and that it isn't easy to just hook up with someone, when feelings are involved people can get hurt. Unless you put your guard down, and trust that your partner feels the same as you, then your relationship can flourish.
Overall in was a well written, well acted drama. Whether I would watch it again, probably not. It was a good series, but one that I personally couldn't sit through again. Too much angst. Too much self reflection, and not enough projection. The relationships and the troubles within them needed to be aired more. A lot of talking, but not to each other, and when they did speak, nothing of depth. Nothing that would help resolve their issues with each other. This series I found frustrating at times, because of this. I even felt even though he grew up by the end, and found his feelings for the female lead, after everything he put her through, I don't think he deserved to be with her in the end. As for her, at times I found her weak, and at times cruel. Her best friend since middle school was the best choice for her. He had do much love to give her. So much respect and was sincere with it, that he was the healthy choice for her to be with. Putting her first all the time. The male lead you felt was always playing catchup here. His own issues, made it hard for him to truly give all of himself to her. It took loosing her for him to wake up and make a decision. Step forward and express how he truly felt. In the end I found it a disappointing ending. A series that did need the kdrama trope of moving away, and their paths not crossing for a few years. This didn't have. If it did I might have been more on board with them getting together in the end.

Imaginative Creative & Emotional
Is there ever a time that Son Ye Jin doesn't Shine -- She brings Life & Magic to everthing she does -- of course it helps that her Lead Hyun Bin became her husband years later. The series was imaginative crossing over the border into North Korea , being found by the NK forces escaping and later finding safe haven in the very soldiers home that she escaped from very creative writing there. She plays the rich beautiful Diva Perfectly & engages everything and one around her she is so Amusing Lovable & Real -- The cast of misfits that surrounds her in this film is nothing short of brillant -- each one bring perfection in their roles delivery -- Hyun Bin as the Rich Soldier -- Kim Sun Young this actress always plays important characters in all the films she does & she is one of the best at it -- I love her in all the roles , I wish they would bring together all these amazing character actors in more films it would really be something to behold --Ko Kyu Pil plays Son Ye Jin characters faithful manager friend and he really bring so much humor to this series -- I think it also plainly shows that being Chaebol isn't all it's cracked up to be when everyone around you is a viper It is considered one of the best Dramatic Series & it crossed all borders Well Worth the WatchWas this review helpful to you?
nam joo hyuk ?
okay so i do really like action themed k-dramas, lots of fighting etc. nam joo hyuk did not disappoint as usual… he played his role really well like really well i was so excited for him yo play a role like this and he needs to more often cos DAYUM. i think the storyline was really good as well some parts felt a little rushed but that might be because its only 8 episodes however other than that there were seriously no flaws for me. every actor did such a great job and i would definitely love a season 2 for sure. Was this review helpful to you?
