Waste of time
Just don't.The comedy was bare.
The acting wasn't enough to justify watching this.
I felt like I wasted my time. Unsatisfied isn't enough to describe my feelings.
It was a nothing burger. The guardian spirits were truly unneccessary and without them the plot could have worked just as much, if not better - because they're taking over the potential romance itself.
The constant bickering till the very end was irritating, it feels like for every pull there was between the main roles, there were 3 push backs just because.
Save yourself don't watch it unless you're extremely bored.

It was clearly rigged
From the beginning it was clear that the judges wanted Sobin to win, despite her doing almost nothing, the bare minimum. From the first round instead of letting someone else to pass, they let her since it was the first thay gave a prediction, despite the fact that the other shaman gave more details. In the next round if it wasn´t for Seolwha she wouldn´t have reach the semi finals.
The producers were strongly against tarot readers when they were only answering the client´s questions and not yapping non stop like shamans.
Seolwha and Sobin did not deserve to be in the final. And bringing back two eliminated was not fair and costed the possibility of the youngest shaman to go to the semi finals when he got it right everything.
The winner only passed because he´s a man and he signs when the "connects with the spirits" instead of the girl that said everything that the client wanted.
I feel bad for the people that believe in this and actually pays money to the professional scammers, but at least many people saw that the fortune tellers tend to get their stuff wrong, especially shamans.
The second client was so lame trying to act as possessed lol
It´s good for killing time only.

I might be in the minority, but I loved this!
A Joseon-era villainess wakes up in the body of a struggling modern day actress. She crosses paths with an arrogant chaebol heir, igniting an intense love-hate romance that transcends centuries. Will this duo continue to clash or will they finally find safety in each other’s arms?I was immediately addicted to this duo & was hooked on their every interaction.
The chemistry. 🔥
The yearning. 🫠
The humor. 🤣
The chaos.🤪
This is the kind of story I love. Ones with Leads who :
- are both strong individuals
- give major power couple vibes
- are captivated by each other
- are equally loyal & protective
- fully trust & cherish one another
- only ever have eyes for each other
- bicker & flirt in all the best ways
This couple totally delivered on all that & more! I loved the FL’s character growth as she adapted to her new surroundings as well as the maturing of the ML, who became the standard of men in love. This is enemies-to-lovers done right. And wow, what a journey. I legit swooned so hard & laughed so much. This was a surprising gem & I adored their happy ending 🫶🏻
The unveiling of their past connection happened at a good pace. The plot twist on her identity in the end was surprising. The secondary characters’ wins & losses were all well deserved.
I didn’t expect to enjoy this even half as much as I did. I wasn’t even planning to watch it as the plot felt overdone & I thought it’d be too drama filled for me. And I’ve been in a serious kdrama slump lately so I’ve been sticking to cdramas instead. I am so glad I gave this a chance, though, because this was freakin’ fantastic!

The Little Soup Princess
Was this a C-BL for the ages? Not really, no.To be perfectly honest with you, I started watching this simply because I had a bit of free time. And I stayed watching it because, by God, was it fascinating/comical to witness how over-the-top pathetic/tragic Lu Xiao Fan and his life were!
The poor penniless pauper sold off by his family to live with a bunch of snooty elites as a Little Soup Princess in the attic, studying when directed to, and cleaning, keeping house, and making copious amounts of soup and clinging with sad puppy-dog-like eyes to the one person who showed him any kindness while dealing with his old family trying to use him/his new position to their advantage, his new family looking down their noses at him, and being bullied and constantly accused of being a suck-up by his peers.
It was astonishingly laughable because just when you thought he couldn't sink lower, he would! His fragile spine would bend yet again, and he'd just stand there and wordlessly take it. The pathetic multitudes he contained? Simply astounding, I tell you!
Meanwhile, his "romance" with Bei Lu Qing was always fluctuating between possession and distance because neither he nor Bei Lu Qing would pry open their mouths enough to talk about what was going on between them.
But they somehow had chemistry between them, and when this pathetic man's spine straightened? It was glorious!
I may sound like I'm putting this drama down, but I seriously enjoyed myself SO much! Clear soup and all!
I recommend it!

Could be longer
Really liked the Actors. Especially Gege, his smile is attractive. The Acting was really good.
The slight NF scenes were good just laking in kissing part - kissing is more natural even in the exploring stages.
Would have been interesting to see more of the relationship but really enjoyed the story.

Classic for a Reason!
Sometimes things get lost in translation when a title goes from its native tongue to English, but that didn’t happen with this drama. “Crash Landing on You” is a very apt name for this story! 🫶🏻A paragliding mishap lands a South Korean heiress in North Korea… & into the life of an army officer who chooses to help her despite his suspicions. While they work to keep her under the radar until they can get her back across the border, a bond forms. But with their responsibilities & different nationalities being huge barriers between them, will their love be allowed to bloom or are they destined to part ways forever?
I was late to the viewing of this drama so I got to experience it after the Leads were already married in real life which made it sweeter for me. I love watching real life couples bring fictional stories to life on my screen. Their chemistry is legit & I’m allowed to ship them to my hearts content. 💕
Circumstances keep them from defining their relationship until pretty much the end, but it’s their willingness to fight for their love against all the odds that deepens their bond & really makes them a duo that viewers root for. I enjoyed the development of their relationship as they fumble their way through secretly cohabitating. It leads to so many memorable moments, made all the sweeter since we know it’s forbidden.
There are annoying love rivals that lessened my enjoyment (& had a tragic ending that the whole fandom hates), but his squad mates make up for it with their chaotic antics & brave loyalty to the ML. And their friendship that grows with the FL is absolutely precious! 🫠
Obviously the chemistry is chemistrying & giving all the feels. Their interactions are awkward & adorable & innocent & genuine - a pleasure for viewers to see.

A strange but memorable movie.
This movie is lesson on how to portray nostalgia on screen. Whatever your sweet memories are about the past, they do never come with logic. This movie is strange but beautiful. I found myself watching this movie after a slump because any modern movies today have become such a cliche- big budget apocalypse storyline. This movie reminded me, really, what cinema really is, how is it different from any form of media, and what makes it magical to watch. If people come holding logic to watch this movie, then they cannot enjoy this. Absurdity and surrealism is so well done in Japanese movies, unlike European ones, which for one reason I always found forced, except Fellini. This movie really makes me want to watch all the director's filmography. If someone loves Love Letter and Taste of Tea, they will certainly love this too.Was this review helpful to you?
a perfect combination of drama in scientific research and school life
watching this feels like a pat in the back for when we are struggling in our studies, just like the characters in this drama. if you cherish the process of learning and obtaining knowledge, this drama depicted it very nicely by making the characters go through science experiments and conference preparation. Kubota Masataka's calm and reserved aura is unbeatable for the teacher's role. he really does a good job in representing the self-assured former researcher and newbie, yet ever-so-caring teacher at the same time. would totally rewatch this just to remind myself of the beauty in learning and how the process looks different for every person. Was this review helpful to you?
if you've never seen a chinese sci-fi movie, watch this!
for my first chinese sci-fi movie, this feels like a blast. very solid storyline that actually respects the logical scientific aspect very much. explained the theories in the right amount: not too much (that it feels like a lecture) and not too little (that would left the audience confused). the CGI execution is very well done considering the amount of objects that need to be depicted. the drama bit incorporating the scientific aspect is a nice touch though might be confusing for some. personally, i don't like rewatching movies but if you're into rewatching, a lot of rigid details could be picked up along the way. overall, a very entertaining movie and plays as a hard critique to AI-dependence at the same time. Was this review helpful to you?

So sweet from start to finish
The fact that it's too short is really my only complaint about this show ughhh.Ok, for what I liked. First, The show really excelled in focusing only on Ki-Tae and Wan. I mean with the small cast they have, I'm just surprised the supporting cast blended well and fitted perfectly to what needed to be done to the story. Maybe that's an area of critique for some but, personally, I didn't mind since, gosh, they had so little time. Next, The chemistry. I guess since I've seen some scenes online, I was kind of already giddy when Seung Gyu and Jong Hyuk we're already together. Like, when Ki-Tae was finding Wan in episode 6, screaming and crying...WOW...what a moment. Just desparate and clingy ;}}
I guess my only critique is that the audio is kind of wonky at times. This is mostly when they shot the scenes at big spaces that I guess the character's voices get weaker. That or they didn't have proper mics set up for those scenes. Also, some scenes had the bgm turneedd upp that, again, made their voices much more weaker.
But, overall, I really enjoyed the experience of watching this show for all its sweetness <3.

A rollercoater of emotion. It went from happy, giddy to bittersweet to downright heartbreaking
What a rollercoster ride!? It made me laugh, feel giddy, happy and made me cry especially the last eps made me feel bittersweet & few made me cry! Loved their acting & their emotions plus the plot was lovely too. Perfectly executed a new twist of reincarnation with no regression. The dramatic & "helplessly fragile" crown prince, who loves to lose consciousness(He Yu execited it way better than any other, i loved it SO MUCH!). Alusive & cold daughter of a General whose heart he wants to win. Huayong's persistence, shameless flirting & how he always kept her in mind whatever he was doing since the day he fell in love with Xihe was the reason that melted her heart, broker her falls & made her fall her harder in love with the her precious Huayong. Two great minds comes together. A deal of mutual benefits eventually turns into a lifetime of beautiful love between the two. They were really each other's equal in both power & love. Was this review helpful to you?

Bound by duty. Bound by love.
After being forced apart by familial pressure in their youth, these ex-lovers are unexpectedly reunited due to their jobs. He’s a brave & steadfast fire chief.
She’s a smart & cool-headed ER doctor.
Will working together to save lives rekindle old feelings or will their emotional scars from the past forever separate them?
I like how mature they both are, though FL is emotionally stunted which made her a bit frustrating at times. ML knows her so well, though, that he knows exactly how to handle her moods & help her work through her stuff. Her family is toxic & always blames ML for her wanting her freedom, but it’s actually her that’s the “bad influence” while he’s just there to protect her while she spreads her wings. What’s heartbreakingly beautiful is that he shields her from that harsh truth - allowing himself to be slandered to safeguard her ties with the only family she has.
And it’s because of that steady love he gives her that she has the courage to finally break free of their manipulations & guilt-tripping. She learns to speak up & defend their love, knowing she failed to do so in the past. She vows, this time, she’ll protect him just as much as he’s always protected her. It’s not an easy path, but it’s one he proudly walks with her every step of the way.
They’re a cute duo. They have great chemistry which leads to some very yummy scenes 🔥🫠 And while it’s not all rainbows & butterflies for them, they hold tight to one another’s hand & refuse to ever let go again, no matter what comes their way (and a LOT comes at them).
So, in conclusion, if you’re in the mood for a second chance romance this is a good one to watch.
Side note: her adopted bros love for her was creepy & I was really happy when ML finally put him in his place!
