Bosco steals the show!
Yeah Charmaine Sheh is great as usual in this but man the star who stole show was Bosco Wong. Watching him constantly drinking milk to promote the sponsor was something I got used to because watching Bosco in action was just so much fun. He is this sleazy, ambitious and manipulative bastard who is just a joy to watch in action. The best scenes are him laughing at people’s reactions and commenting on them, such as when he invited Kenneth Ma’s parents to speak to his AI avatar and his parents asked the AI “how are you feeling?” And Bosco immediately laughed saying “How are you feeling? What a stupid question to ask an AI.”Some of the character are extra annoying this time around like Hera Chan’s weird fixation on trying to cancel Charmaine and Selena Lee being a terrible leader, but the most annoying character is Venus Wong and her relationship with James Ng. Man, I really did not care about their relationship and watching them was just pure cringe.
Luckily, Bosco himself is more than enough to bring me back to watch this. He won TVB Best Actor 2025 for this role for a good reason.

You simply cannot miss the first great drama of 2026. It is wonderful!
When I come across a production like this, I find myself wondering what to say… how could I possibly encourage others to watch it? But then I stop and think—who am I to recommend anything at all?And the answer comes to me: I am simply someone who loves everything that is good in the world of entertainment. I adore BLs, I enjoy historical dramas, I love crime stories, I am fascinated by mysteries—anything that makes me think, feel, and truly immerse myself in a story.
So, if you are even a little bit like me, you certainly won’t want to miss this rare gem.
Absolutely loving it.

Boyfriend on Demand is a great weekend binge
Boyfriend on Demand was a good rom-com. Easy to watch, fun, cute, and perfect for a weekend. Releasing it on a Friday was a great idea. The storyline was nothing new or innovative, but it works well for what it is.Is it the best rom-com or series of the year? No, definitely not. But it’s not horrible either. It’s light and enjoyable. It’s also worth watching just for the cameos alone (although, if we’re being honest, with the exception of Seo Kang Jun, they didn’t really live up to the hype). We knew about some of them beforehand, but they left a few surprises here and there, and it was exciting to see them pop up throughout the show.
Now to the controversial part: the acting. I’m not familiar with Ji Soo, neither as an idol nor as an actress. This is the first drama of hers that I’ve watched, but I do know that she’s an idol, and a very popular one at that.
Is she the horrible actress that everyone makes her out to be? No, but she isn’t great either. She falls somewhere in the middle.
What I noticed is that she isn’t very consistent. There were times when she was quite good, usually in exaggerated scenes, mostly comedic, though there were a few emotional ones that she handled well too. However, she fell flat in more subtle, “everyday” expressions and actions (walking, running, standing in a scene and being idle). There were moments where I could almost see her thinking and planning her next move. That said, I did feel that her acting improved in the second half of the drama.
She also needs to learn how to colour and use her voice. In some scenes she sounded dull and monotonous. She has a beautifully natural, raspy voice that she could use to her advantage, which could help set her apart. Given that she gets lead roles right out of the gate due to her popularity as an idol, rather than her acting skills, it means she has to work twice as hard to prove herself. It’s also expected that people will pick apart her every expression, since they feel she didn’t earn those roles or work hard enough for them but simply got them because she is Blackpink’s Ji Soo.. She has the potential to become really good and establish herself as an actress but she really needs to put in the work!
Having said that, she wasn’t the only weak link when it came to acting. In general, I feel that a lot of the acting in this drama was lacking, from both the leads and the supporting cast, as well as some of the cameos. Even Seo In Guk, who has proven himself over and over again, felt a bit flat to me here. I don’t know if it was the “indifferent” nature of his character, but at times he also felt like he was phoning it in. That said, I have to give him credit: he made the two characters feel really different from each other, and at times it almost felt like the female lead was acting opposite two different actors.
Their chemistry was quite good, but it could have been better if the drama had taken the time to build their relationship in the first half. The male lead was practically nonexistent in the first four episodes.
All in all, it’s definitely worth a watch, and it’s great for a weekend binge.

Good show but not good enough for me to finish
Gong Xi is adorable, but sometimes she can be so annoying. At least she isn’t too much of a pushover (I mean she wouldn’t be after what happened to her before). I love her friendship with the stern aspiring actress Jiang Nan Qin. I love seeing Jiang Nan Qin become soft because of Gong Xi. Sometimes this show dragged, and I wanted it to have more push and excitement and because of this that's why I decided to stop watching. I felt like I've already seen enough.I don't know maybe I'll go back so I can see more of the friendship between Gong Xi and Jiang Nan Qin.

The most unique BL I've ever watched.
When i 1st started the drama i was like okay just another childhood sweethearts who broke apart after one fell for another kinda BL. I was wrong. It just nothing close to JUST ANOTHER.Let's start with the casting. This is probably the best casting I've even seen in a BL especially for the younger version. They look the same and act the same as the older version of them. I literally had to check if they used graphics to reduce the actors age😅
They used literal 15 year olds for highschool version of them. This was totally new although it did make me uncomfortable at times but i like that they've changed the script from the manga and made it a bit more appropriate.
Although i saw the poster and was sure Ren was the uke when i watched the drama i had doubts. I've seen golden retriever semes but here it was different. The uke was smart, successful and protecting his seme which we usually see seme doing and the seme was more on the conservative shy kinda side. Even the way they sat made me doubt myself. The best part was how they didn't show this in a over the top way and made it seem more natural.
The misunderstanding where the entire misunderstanding actually made sense. Usually I'd be like if they talked this wouldn't have happened but here it was like a solid misunderstanding. Kazuma telling Ren he liked girls. Ren being gay and feeling hurt trying to get over it. Kazuma asking him to sleep with him and ren misunderstanding he did that cz he was kind n didnt want his friend to go the wrong way. Ren feeling guilty for what he did to kazuma and nearly causing his love's death. There's no other way the plot could have progressed.
The only flaw i could see was the awkwardness between the actors during hugs and NC scenes they kinda maintained a distance. Overall in the other areas their acting was impeccable and the drama was good.

first of all, I love the chemistry between the leads...so good. the Bottom is not so soft and can defend himself in most of the scenes...I love this type of character ....and the top, he is such a heartthrob 😭❤️, his facecard is magical, everytime I see his smile, i nearly fainted...so2 handsome...again, the storyline is so good and catchy, I watch the whole series without skipping any of the scenes, cuz all are so interesting and have tensions which I love the most...Idk for others but for me the show is soooo good, I fell in love 💕😘 already add in my top fav list. Was this review helpful to you?

So much potential
Man this had so much potential. Kenny Bee as a super rich surgeon (like impossibly rich for being a surgeon) with a new young wife played by Jessica Hsuan. Suddenly boom, we get introduced to the family and they are all different kinds of messed up, 2 sons and 2 daughters played by some really great TVB actors like Kenneth Ma and Edwin Siu. If you want to see rich dysfunctional family then this one is perfect.Somehow later, all of Kenny Bee and his boys get on a plane to fly back to Hong Kong because of some emergency, but their plane crashes, killing everybody onboard. This results in all the cool male characters being removed in episode 1! What? The rest of the drama is then propped up by the women only, and my issue with this is that is becomes a taco-fest. You need a good mix of men and women to make a good drama, but here it is just annoying drama with these women that do things that make no sense when you think about it for more than a nanosecond. The female actors here from Angel Chiang, Moon Lau, Celina Harto and Jinny Ng (especially Jinny) were mostly annoying to watch because they flip-flop constantly in what drives them and their reasons for doing what they are doing. And the constant bitch-mode against Jessica purely because she married Kenny Bee just before he died got so tiresome.
At first the drama makes it out as if the big bad was Alice Chan. She was Kenny Bee’s secret lover until he decided to marry Jessica, and that really pissed her off to such an extent that she decided to try and take over Kenny Bee’s hospital and destroy from within. Later we discover she was not the big bad and she did not get Kenny Bee and his boys killed in the plane, it was actually Ruco Chan. Huh? It turned out Ruco used to have thing for Moon Lau, but she later married Kenneth Ma and joined Kenny Bee’s family, so out of jealousy he plotted to have them killed and take over the hospital out of spite. With this revelation, Alice Chan switches sides and helps Jessica deal with that bastard.
It ends with Jessica going to reopen her dad’s old clinic to help the needy. Like how crap is that ending? I mean she had all this money and power and in the ending she goes lol snd decides to give it all up. There was some doctor healing and surgeries in the drama but they were all politically motivated and felt like an afterthought. Overall an average drama and not worth rewatching.

OMG. So infuriating.
The husband in this is the biggest POS from beginning to end. If you want to be irritated for a couple of hours, then this is the drama for you.I wanted to quit watching but ended up watching the whole thing. The FL was good but she should have been meaner to the husband.
The ending was good.

nice drama
Boyfriend on Demand is a fun and refreshing K-drama that blends romance, comedy, and a modern concept of relationships. The story revolves around the idea of having a “boyfriend on demand,” someone who can provide emotional support and companionship whenever needed. What I enjoyed the most were the main characters. The protagonists are very charming and have great chemistry, which makes their interactions natural and enjoyable to watch. Their performances bring warmth and humor to the story, making it easy to connect with them and become invested in their journey.
Overall, Boyfriend on Demand is a light and enjoyable drama, perfect for viewers who like romantic stories with lovable characters and sweet moments.

transmigration never makes sense
This drama was fun to watch. The humor at the beginning worked well for me. It didn’t feel like the jokes were written for the audience but rather like the characters themselves were having fun in the situation. That kind of humor always works better for me. The tone was also quite relaxed between the two leads from the start. Their dynamic felt natural and easy, which made the beginning very enjoyable. the biggest strength of this drama is definitely the two main characters. They were very chill with each other from the beginning, and their relationship didn’t feel awkward or overly dramatic. The overall story is quite familiar, cleaning the court of corrupt officials, political struggles, and trying to leave the world in a better state. It was interesting enough to watch, but i wouldn’t say it was particularly new or exciting. The plot mostly works as a framework to support the characters and their relationship.
The antagonist felt weak for me. Xiahou Bo had a reason for his anger, his mother was killed by the Empress and he redirected that hatred toward Xiahou Dan. But his motivation for fighting for the throne didn’t feel very convincing. He didn’t seem to have the ambition or the qualities needed to actually rule. Because of that, the second half of the drama started to feel a bit tiring for me.
The transmigration logic: The biggest problem for me is the transmigration logic. The ending is technically a happy ending, but it actually just pisses me off. Both characters return to the modern world, but the rules about time passing and aging don’t really make sense. If the male lead returns older, what does that mean for his life in the modern world? Does he have an identity? Education? A home? How would he even live there? The drama also doesn’t show much concern from the characters about how they will return to the real world or what will happen afterward.
I do appreciate that earlier in the story the male lead actually panicked about being in a new world, which felt more believable than characters who adapt instantly (ekhmm female lead). I just wish the ending had explored the real-world consequences more.
despite the frustrations with the transmigration logic, i still enjoyed watching this drama. The leads carried the story with their chemistry, humor, and emotional moments.

great concept
I found the idea of virtual dating to be intriguing and really refreshing to watch. However, I found that the main couple's story to not be as engaging, as I felt almost no chemistry in the beginning and then suddenly they have feelings for each other??But even though the story lacked depth, I found many aspects of the drama entertaining and funny, as I kept finding myself laughing at random moments. And overall, it's cute and entertaining, definitely a worth watch!

#bringDonback
I honestly think this is a very good series. The actors did a great job with their performances, and the overall production was really well done. However, there is one thing I’m still upset about—Don’s death. Seriously, why did they have to kill him? Let my man live! I was low-key watching the series mostly for Don and Pond, and Don was such a babygirl character that it made it even harder to watch him die. I was literally crying my eyes out during that scene. One thing I really loved about the show was how well the music matched the mood of each scene. For example, when a scene was sad, the music became emotional, and when things got more intense or “spicy,” the music reflected that too. It really helped make the moments feel more powerful.
I do think it took a little too long for the main couple to get back together, but I liked how the show let us see what their relationship was like in the past and how much it had changed over time. That made their development feel more meaningful.
Overall, I’d give this series an 8.5/10. I would highly recommend watching it if you haven’t already—and if you have, it’s definitely worth a rewatch

a very good feud
I was a bit scared to start this drama because of the title. Feud sounds like it will be an exhausting story, but it turned out to be a very strong story. In fact, this is one of the rare cases where I think the English title actually fits better than the original.OST: The OST is haunting and beautiful. It really fits the tone of the drama
Story and writing: The storytelling is goood and the writing feels solid. What surprised me the most is that the miscommunication actually worked?!. Normally this trope pisses me off so bad. It was clear that something had been misunderstood between the characters, but it wasn’t presented in a way that made me frustrated. Instead it felt tragic and inevitable rather than stupid.
The ending: the ending is the only part that wasn’t really my style. It created a lot of ambiguity, i don’t hate it, but i’m not sure i fully understand it. It seemed like time changed again and reset to the very beginning, but i’m not completely sure what exactly happened. Earlier the time travel made sense when she went back a few hundred years to fix something. But at the very end it becomes more symbolic and harder to interpret? I get the symbolisms, but i need some logic.
Antagonists: one thing i liked is that the real antagonist behind the feud wasn’t someone i hated. He had purpose and layers and was even willing to admit things about himself. That made him more interesting than a typical villain. In comparison, Long Yuan was much more annoying to watch. His stubbornness and arrogance made him annoying rather than interesting, and his outfit honestly looked so silly that i couldn't take him seriously.
Romance: ahhhh the love–hate dynamic between Bai Jiusi and A’yue is really the heart of this drama. Their relationship is intense, painful, and full of complicated emotions. It reminded me a bit of Till the End of the Moon, but it feels lighter because both characters are fundamentally good people. Their stories in the mortal world was my favorite part. Especially the illusion one. she wants him to understand her pain, but she cannot fully recreate it because she still loves him.. and because their relationship is so powerful, some of the side stories feel weaker in comparison. Aside from the antagonist and characters from the mortal world, most of the other immortals and Cloud Sect characters didn’t interest me as much.
Final thoughts: what really made this drama worth watching for me was the chemistry between the leads. Sometimes they didn’t even need dialogue, the way Bai Jiusi and A’yue looked at each other said everything. Honestly, watching them interact alone was already enough reason to keep watching the drama.

I don't know how to feel.
And I probably never will.Onestamente non so cosa scrivere.
