It's feels like oasis on chinese long drama
I watched this solely because of Chen Jingke and Youth theme. I have no issue with Esther Yu but some of her dramas that i watched were not my cup of tea and her voiceover was quite okay though and she has clear pronunciation. If you are seeing sports theme drama with slice of mystery with sprinkle of Comedy , Road to Success is one of kind in long drama. If you have another same theme, let me know so i can watch. The chemistry between Lin Wangxing and her students were quite cute. I quite enjoy the romance even it was minimal but the dynamic between Wang Fa and Lin Wangxing are amusing. The ending was quite perfect and i recommended this drama for J-Drama enjoyer who loves youth drama.

Friendship Goals
It was so heartwarming to see how comfortable everyone were together, and the teasing and bickering amongst them was a lot of fun to watch. Sometimes, people who doesn't have close friendships in their lives will mistake light teasing as disrespect, when in reality, it's just closeness and an understanding that there's no malice in teasing. The quizes in in ep 2 had me worked up and competing along with them. I laughed so hard at how competitive everyone was, yet the introverted ones were adorable with their quibs as well.
I really hope to see more of them together in the future.

This is a REALLY good K-Drama/C'est un drama coréen VRAIMENT bon
English:I watched the whole show in 2 days. I loved this show so much. There were so many moments that made me giddy and happy. I love the concept behind the show, which is one of the main reasons why I started watching it. The main thing that hooked me was the acting. I think the acting in this show is brilliant. Every single actor/actress was amazing. The chemistry in some scenes and the tension in others really show how talented the whole cast is. There were scenes that made me laugh, and some scenes that made me tear up a little. That shows the diversity and complexity of this show, and why it's so good. This is definitely a new comfort show, and I will definitely be revisiting this show at some point in the future!

Getting better each episode's, but flop in the end of episode.
The plot are quite good for comedy drama, but at the same time are too serious. The story are getting better each episode's, however the footballer's inner soul journey isn't treated very seriously, it only appears in the last 2 episodes. There is no visible character development, and as if by magic he suddenly becomes an expert in the blink of an eye.The ending was very unclear and felt forced, likely due to the 12-episode limit. The time skip felt overly contrived, and the villains didn't receive a fitting comeuppance. What's even funnier is why ML's soul was swapped again, so he will continue to suffer from exchanging souls without showing his true soul, what a joke.

Just two adults living and loving
Sometimes you just need a fluffy fluff romance to end off a long stressful day. This is it. Wang Kaimu and Wang Gege are both phenominal leads to start with and pairing them together was a genius move. They have great chemistry and pulled off a great romance about two adults living and moving on from our own traumas so they we can work towards a better and happier future. Was this review helpful to you?
just don't waste your time!!
I usually never leave a review but wtf did I just watch... first 2 eps it was mahh kinda okayish but from there it went down hell...the story itself is so weak there was basically no plot to begin with they just kept dragging the story and filling it up with nonsense and a bit of okay nc scenes .. I specially hated the background music in the nc scenes even though the scenes itself weren't bad.... I was surprised that the actors themselves had a better chemistry in bed than in conversations lol...... I liked the second couple A bit although that kpop Idol was Woden and didn't act properly in any given scene but at some point I was just looking for a reason to continue watching the show and oh boy they served me none .Was this review helpful to you?

Build up ↗️
I started watching after reading that it would be similar to hometown cha cha cha.To me it was quite different in many ways. And at first it was almost one to drop for me. The first few episodes are a bit plain and uneventful, the story seems to take too long to develop and the scandal bit could have taken less space. Then it slowly picks up, to the point one thinks I'll give it a go it's OK. The plot starts to gain depth and structure. By episode 10-11 it starts becoming a must watch and also the ending is better than many other dramas. It would deserve a higher ranking if it wasn't for the slow start. The ML's father was a bit too much for my liking, making it feel unrealistic when he finally snaps out of it. I also don't personally like the storyline between ex, but obviously in this case it made sense a lot of sense. Basically they were really halves of the same apple. Lovely ending sentence. Such a profound message conveyed in an unpretentious way. So my final advice is hang in there through the slow first few episodes and thank ne at the end 😝

wtf..
This was so ass.. like wtf. Kisses are mediocre asf AS FCK. Such a lustful manhwa should have Thai bl level kisses. Ts was so bad. Their acting is pretty good so I’m not gonna say anything bad about that. But their kisses suck, there’s not that much chemistry and it’s just weird overall. There’s no plot, no story nothing. AND WHY IS IT A VERTICAL MOVIE??? Idk. Just didn’t love it at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Beyond conventional: plenty to ponder
Love and how to protect who and what you value are ideas explored in Pursuit of Jade, a folkloric tale of mythic proportions about a pig butcher whose provincial life is upended when she saves a mysterious stranger from certain death. Beyond a conventional romance, the characters retain their agency as they unearth the past and fight for their futures, with consequences both personal and epic. Blending politics, action, and glimpses of life in a fictional imperial China, this series is ideal for those who enjoy a banquet of trials, intrigue, symbolism, and a healthy helping of hope rooted in community. Was this review helpful to you?

I really wanted to love this...
I really did want to love this series. For a modern drama it had all the elements that I usually enjoy, I don't typically love romance only focused modern dramas with all the angst and misunderstandings that drive the plot. I also love Bai Jingting. BUT. Holy cow I wasn't just on the struggle bus trying to finish this series, I was driving. It took me days and days to finish it, it was easily 20 episodes too long. In my opinion there was zero chemistry between the leads and the relationship around the second leads was frustrating and irritating as well. The FL was unlike any neurosurgeon I've ever seen - clueless, no common sense, and most irritating of all was the obnoxious way she had of speaking with her lips constantly puckered and mumbling. I thought the baby talking FL in Hidden Love couldn't be topped for most annoying- never say never. There were some cool parts to the story line but honestly the only love story that I was most invested was her boss and his sister. All in all I would never watch this again and it didn't even have any moments I'd go back and rewatch like in a lot of my favorites- except where they were shooting and racked their pistols on the heel of their boots lol. This one was a big dud for me but I persisted and at least finished it out.Was this review helpful to you?

This was an ok medical mystery drama with an overarching serial killer case. I kind of wish they had done more with that aspect while they solved a mystery of the week. I liked the cast, especially Dean Fujioka as Dr. Mizusawa. I also, liked that each forensic doctor at the MEJ had their own episode to shine in as well. I was a little disappointed at the reveal of the serial killer though as it just fell flat for me, most likely b/c I had a theory that Dr. Mizusawa's father was the killer. That was my error. However, the reason I thought that was b/c there was a flashback scene of him as a boy and I think he was taking to his father, and it felt very ominous. The person he was speaking to also made a comment about dead things needing to be left alone.

At least I finished it ...
The actors were great and the characters were ok ... chemistry between FL and ML was nice ... but why ... why do they have to regurgitate the same old, same old story? The first few episodes were funny but then I realized that I have seen this series, over and over again. Nothing new, nothing different, just the same. I managed to finish this (only because I didn't want another unfinished show) at 2x speed and 10 seconds fast forward. Rated as high as I did because of the actors.
OST ... OK
Rewatchable ... definitely not.
Actors ... great
Characters ... OK
Nothing else to say really.

Solid and Satisfying!
After reading some of the reviews, I kind of felt like I watched a totally different drama than some others!Doctor On The Edge's ratings surprised me as I thought, in fact, it delivered so much more than the medical rom com it was advertised to be.
For myself, it was a truly satisfying drama with just the right amount of emotional and comedic moments. Never so much comedy you cringed and the emotions, including the romances, checked all the boxes. I really never once wanted to "fast forward" through part of an episode but rather was really absorbed with each one...and felt kind of sad to see the drama end.
The story arc was easy to follow and well executed throughout. The stories inside the drama were really touching...giving us some insight into many of the supporting cast and even, at times, allowing for some good healthy tearing up. Those quietly poignant instances were beautifully done and remindful for me, of some of the stories that pulled at my heartstrings in the wonderful drama If You Wish Upon Me.
I thought the performances by the WHOLE cast were absolutely solid in this drama so kudos to the actors and the casting agency!
I also felt strong chemistry with both couples, lead and secondary: Lee Jae Wook and Shin Ye Eun were a great match; well balanced , kind of each others yin and yang. LJW is a favorite of mine and it was really nice to watch him in a drama I enjoyed all the way through!
Can I say, too, how happy I was to see that the talented and versitle Kim Yoon Woo from My Dearest was part of the second couple in DOTE. He played alongside a newbie for me, Lee Soo Kyung, who was captivating as the local nurse. They were also a well matched and gotta say adorable pair! And then, of course, shall we talk about Mr. Hong Min Gi? What a treat he is/was...
All in all I thought Doctor On The Edge a GREAT drama, and probably one I'll rewatch when I need something that strikes the right chord throughout and leaves me feeling good.

Love the story line and JCW is amazing
I loved how much the ML character loved wholeheartedly. Great supporting actors, throughout the whole seriesi think Episode 15/16 were the weakest and the ending could have been a little bit more versus just waiting to the very last 10 minutes to resolve everything. but overall this was a really good series.

it's a solid show
Wow, just wow! Just finished watching Mo Li. This is my first review here, I just felt like dropping this. I almost missed out just because of the top reviews I saw....All I can say is it's a solid show. I'm a sucker for a good plot, and something I can relate to, I guess that's why I always struggle watching most fantasy dramas. I took breaks in between, and anytime I came back to continue watching, I'm always hooked.
It has tragic scenes, and I believe that's the main plot of the drama anyway, and what sells it.
It's a well-written drama and definitely one of the top dramas I've seen this year.
