AT LAST I FOUND AN AMAZING DRAMA FOR JONG SUK
i liked this drama alot
strong plot
connected smooth events
no exaggeration
there were balance between cute and villain characters
if it's from 200 and i should divide into spaces it would be
20 romance
60 cute characters
40 comedy
80 about reporters life and corruption
the romance was cute but it wasn't the main in this drama
but the feelings between family were the main
young kwang and the Fl's family were the cutest characters ever
highly recommended one ^_^

A MUST WATCH!!!
This is another classic Kdrama that I think everyone should watch. It's such a great, unique storyline that's not super cliche (although it does have a few thrown in there).
However, the twists and turns brought about are written wonderfully even though some are predictable it's performed in a way that still surprises you.
It brings to light real-life issues of the media and cover-ups. This aspect really hits home, and I love how real it is.
The acting is incredible and the chemistry between everyone is great and believable. The cinematics is great, the ost is wonderful. I certainly recommend it.
I will state that the rewatch value is low; I think it loses most of its magic and entertainment if you rewatch it and already know everything that's going to happen. However, I think it's still enjoyable to rewatch because the acting is great.

I really didn't like the story as whole. But I really liked the character settings
It's not a review but what I liked in the drama.
Better read at own risk
For me it varies from 7.5- 9.5 the news attack on firefighter were too much ofcourse we know y that happened later. I think I have seen the first eo before and decided not to watch as I had so many doubt like y about fire, MLS fight, the father's look, and the sences were too zoomed in YouTube. But now after reading the summary and not having any other things to watch. I gave it a try. It was good. I was praying it should be this and that and it didn't.. even if some thing happened like help by bum jo it was explained by then to make the viewer believe if not this there's another way so it's ok after all it's a drama. Il jo with director yun was good because if everyone other than the main villan was good, that don't make sense. So for me it is a 9. My favourite was the nitpicker. I watched it twice at a stretch. My favourite line.. u r crying for 2 hrs, I will die consolidating you in ep8/9. 15,16,17-2 is the fav of nitpicker and jawhee with iljo. And the 16 also has the grp dinner the other grp dinner was in 8/9 I think before dopal say he is hamynug to his brother(in9). I liked jae even though.. he did a big mistake and corrected it himself I liked that.. I didn't want him to kill anyone but it was too late to think that.. sad and my fav character was director of ygn news... He is great.. ofcourse we r human after all we do make mistakes. But the thing is we should correct it even it's late and no use anymore, it's emprassing or whatever.. a good drama. It had its flaw like jae interview I don't think that was live.. it's fine if so and I wanted to know what is punishment got for jae... After all it's not too good not bad either but really something for me. I hate it when they just concentrate on one case but there r many in between and the one was on and off just like what happens in reality. I do hate drama with reality but it was my type ... If u r good... U surly will have pain.. but if u r still good (not the submissive or I don't care type ) I just knew it one I don't wana write. So it's my type Have happy even though there r things going on. We have to live after all . But don't be cold hearted... Blah blah I don't know I just wanted to save the things that I got in my head after watching it. Or the things it reminded me or confirmed... There is always what if and if not. But whatever it depends on u whether u r happy or sad.. I better stop here

Chemistry Over Gimmicks
I really enjoyed Pinocchio because of the strong chemistry between Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye, which made their relationship engaging and believable. The storyline was well written and emotionally compelling, keeping me invested throughout the drama. The longing, the tension they built up, and that moment when they finally kissed...OMG! It was such a satisfying payoff. However, one element I could not fully get past was the concept of the hiccup caused by lying, referred to as Pinocchio syndrome. While the idea was interesting, the execution felt distracting at times. It didn't need to be something extreme, but a subtler reaction such as Choi In Ha stuttering or hesitating whenever she lied might have conveyed her inability to lie in a more natural and believable way. This small adjustment could have made the concept feel more grounded without taking away from the emotional impact of the story. I do understanding her hiccupping was the overall concept of the story.
I especially enjoyed Choi In Ha’s relationships with the men in her life, namely her father, grandfather, and Choi Dal Po. Their interactions were genuinely hilarious and added much needed warmth and humor to the drama. The dynamic among them provided some of the most entertaining and lighthearted moments in the series, and I found myself wishing there were more scenes that focused on them together.

Female Lead Drove Me Insane
I liked this drama and that it included some thriller/suspense stuff as well as comedy but the main female lead was insufferable. I know she's meant to be in the beginning and that's the point, but even after she "learns the truth" she's still narcissistic and kind of an AH.I stayed for Lee Jong Suk, the story, and the chemistry the rest of the cast had. If they'd written her a little different or maybe if she'd acted a little different, it would've been a great drama. Also of note was how dirty they did teenage Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk) with that hair. lol I'm well aware that during the 2010's in Korea, K drama actors and K-pop idols had some interesting hairstyles, but his was ridiculous and funny. It also went on much longer than I expected it to. The hairstyle I mean, not the drama. Haha

what i love most about this drama is the dialogue ,
the main story line which will make you realize a lot of things about manipulating the media for political reasons .
the perfect acting of the all cast all the support roles seems perfect the main reason i rate acting 9/10 because the main role actors acting especially shin hye (she is one of my fav actresses but she don't act really well) her crying scenes looked awkward in my eyes sometimes overacting .
Even though
I highly recommended watching this drama

Last episode?What happened to people?
what happened to their cap and Yoorae? Why didn't we see Chan Soo at the end? What happened to the mother of In Ha?bouhhhh why can't I ever see a satisfying ending???At least we saw the two reporters being married at the end. That as a happy thing but I didn't like the fact that they talked about Bom Joo's mom more than anything else.Who was the kid at the end? What happened to the ''ceo's son'' ? Also , they didn't give enough information in the episode where they were talking about an idol, they cut it so short it lasted for like 2-5 minutes(Fama). Was this review helpful to you?

The plot was definitely worth watching; I would have never thought of a news reporter who hiccups when she lies to be the main character of any show. I also liked how they tied in the fate of the main male character's parents death to the fate of the main female character's parents death--- it showed how they were connected by some unusual, spiritual forces.I genuinely do not think that this was Lee Jong Suk's best production. He's been in much better shows. In total, he is a great actor however, he's been in better shows with better plots. As always, his acting appeared to be very authentic as he played his character really well and he was passionate in scenes where his brother was accused of being a murderer.

Very well written, this show manages to never be boring and always unexpected.
On a side note, this is the second show I watch with Lee Jong Suk (after W) and I liked him a lot here. At the same time, this is the first show, for me, with Park Shin Hye, and I love her! She's really, really good, so much so that I'm definitely looking forward to watch more shows with her! 100% recommended.

perfect
it is one of favorite drama ever. the story is perfect, I love dramas that show people past so I can feel how they lived and how they grow. you will understand and feel the characters very well, especially the main actors are really good ones. i cried and laughed a lot. I enjoyed a lot at every momentI wasn't excited because I thought its just work environment drama, but its absolutely not. it is much deeper
but honestly I would prefer if it was 16 ep. it look they try to extend it very hard. I don't think I can rewatch it because I cant forget the story so its difficult to watch

I will admit the first half of the show was rather slow. There was a lot of backstory development as well as having the characters establish themselves in their careers. It took a lot of time away from what I, and I'm sure many others, consider to be the more interesting or fast moving plot of the show's second half. I feel that they could have easily cut this drama down to 16 episodes. That being said I clearly enjoyed this drama since I scored it highly. The above mentioned criticism is really my only glaring problem with the show. As for the aspects I loved there are too many to name. First lets talk about the plot. It's thought provoking, heavy on morality, and really encapsulates how different people can react when pushed to the end of their rope. Each character is challenged and broken. They either rise above, fall short of, or overcome these challenges, but the unique and believable actions of each character solidify the artistry with which this show was written. Even the addition of the fictitious and silly sounding Pinocchio Syndrome does not detract from the realism this drama embodies. If anything the syndrome adds to it by allowing the audience to see that though someone may never lie they can still be mistaken and fall short of the truth. My applause to Park Hye Ryun for her magnificent writing. The way the syndrome forces our female lead to confront her feelings is also a huge plus for me. This brings me to the romance. This is my favorite couple pairing for both Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk. Their chemistry was off the charts and I felt that their friends to lovers relationship was organic and believable. They knew when to put their partner before themselves and when to put themselves before their partner. The relationship was mutual, healthy, and endearing. They were each other's biggest support system and their relationship had a note of maturity thanks to this. Even when things got tough or the relationship seemed like it wouldn't work out they never truly gave up on each other. Everyone's reaction to the relationship was also appropriate if not frustrating. In fact all of the characters had logical reactions to just about every scenario the show presented. When a character got mad I too was angry, when a character made a bad decision I felt that I would have chosen the same course, when a character finally broke down and cried it was at just the right moment. Everything was well balanced and above all logical. For me this logic, so lacking in most dramas, was the crowning achievement of Pinocchio.

It's a drama which reveals new hidden secrets and information in each episode!! How exciting is that?!!
The story doesn't just end there at the climax and everything just starts to solve itself.. no.. even with the falling action after episode 10 secrets were still uncovered !!
How hard is it to give 10s these days? SUPER HARD! To the point where I'm not watching anything -.- Kdrama is going downhill, but THIS cam to the rescue...
Story...
As I said the story has SO much hidden around the corner, so many details and excitement. You are reminded of small details you never paid attention to at the beginning with bigger events and plots. It doesn't bore you out! An obvious 10 *-*
Acting/Cast
DAMN! THE CHEMISTRY! O.O PSH and LJS are made for each other !!
I hate Park ShinHye simply because she's too pretty and always steals my oppas (I can count TEN of them! both Korean AND Japanese!) but I can't not give her credit for how much her acting improved especially after that Heirs disaster *facepalm* she was a mess. Anyways, she passes this drama, thumbs up :3
Lee Jung Suk *-* DEABAK improvement !! From the rising star to the pro. His actions and expressions are becoming more genuine and precise.
Kim Young Kwang.. my crush since White Christmas has surely grown much more professional at what he does. He played the character way too well.
The MOST impressive though, Jin Kyung (In Ha's mother) you won't notice it at the beginning, but the contrast in the personalities sh'es playing is shown CLEARLY on her face in the last few episodes. SHE'S TOO GOOD!
Nothing on Music... It's Amazing but not Perfect because I didn't even notice it while watching.
My guess, the story is too intense to notice the music, but I must admit, the music blends in SO well with the events that you feel it instead of hearing it.. I TAKE IT BACK ! the Music is PERFECT!
Rewatch Value isn't much cuz you already know all the secrets and hidden agendas.. but I still would look up some Romance between the leads and watch on a nice free day to relief stress.. the chemistry IS that good!
I can't believe all the winter dramas are so bad I get to watch only this and it's about to end ToT I hope this drama drought doesn't last ToT
