What a blast!

I love how this movie takes itself seriously and presents a well-flowing narrative that keeps you on the edge of your seat constantly, and not because of contrived reasons but because of dynamic and varied characters with their own goals... AKA a well written movie.

The plot and main beats are quite predictable but that doesn't detract from the movie at all. The zombies' traits are clear, and played to both their strengths and weaknesses.

Huge praise should be given to the stunt crew who made it all believable by throwing themselves like the batshit crazy people they are on every object in that movie. They're scary and completely insane and I loved it!

The contrived setting adds to the movie immensely.

Incredible work and a worthy addition to the zombie genre. It has emotional gravitas too which is also quite the rare sight in this genre.

The movie delivers the goods

I preface this by saying I am not a person who's really into the zombie genre but there are some genuinely good zombie movies out there.

Train to Busan did not disappoint!! Well written and well acted, with some humorous moments.

I was 30 minutes in and I was wondering how the movie could possibly be almost 2 hours long on a train. The level of tension, suspense and action never waivered. I was super impressed. Gong Yoo was excellent and Ma Dong-seok was fantastic! I mean the entire cast is really good. The young actress Kim Soo An playing Gong Yoo's daughter was good too!

I loved the scene where Ma Dong, Gong Yoo and Choi Woo Shik are in the bathroom waiting for the next tunnel and Gong Yoo ask why Ma Dong has that as his ring tone. The whole scene is great and it was an excellent tension breaker. Ma Dong's speech about Gong Yoo's daughter understanding him later was also on point.

Of course there is always a character in these films that you hate and I was so mad he made it til the end. Total bastard.

It took me a long time to rate this movie properly
But I couldn't get through they killed almost all of the leads
For all those high ratings I expected a brilliant movie
But the story was ok
It was all about struggling to survive from a real chaos
Till now I don't know why they killed all of them
Which I hated a lot that's why I rated 6/10
I hated when (dong seok) died more than when (gong Yoo) die 😔😔😭😭😭😭
And I hated the movie more when woo shik and his girlfriend died
I told myself OMG that psycho writer is going to kill the whole country in this way

But I saw an important message behind this movie
1 selfish person could kill many

It wasn't fair at all that the train rider rescued Yong suk
He was the main reason they all got killed
I hated that stupid selfish man with all my heart I want to kill him by myself really

And I saw what happened to him wasn't fair for all what he did to others
He should be rescued and get hanged then

I have to admit the events made me eat my nails from anxiety but still hated the end

And I think both the pregnant lady and the kid will take months in Psychiatric treatment to get well back

But what I didn't understand
Was the kid going to stay with the pregnant lady??
Is that mean that her mother was also infected and dead ???
I didn't get the end well
But I think so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't even know what to say and how to say it

I don't usualy like zombie movies, most of them are boring, but this one is on another stage. I have never cried this much about a movie.
The acting, the production, the visual FX. Everything is perfect.
IT NOW ENTERED TO MY VERY FAVORITE FILMS ZONE.

DIE WITH A SMILE .

I have been sleeping on such an amazing movie for so damn long. To be honest, it's the typical zombie movie, same effects and all but THE ACTORS, THE EMOTIONS! It all make this movie so special. Gong yoo gave his BEST and his chemistry as a father with the child actor SPEAKS VOLUMES. The scene in which he dies saving his daughter and smiles while remembering her at birth made me cry a loads (i don't normally cry watching sentimental dramas/movies). The first thing that came to my mind was the song DIE WITH A SMILE ! The ending was beautiful and sad at the same time. The daughter singing the song in the last scene was SO EMOTIONAL.

Overall it's THE PERFECT WATCH! GO FOR IT RIGHT NOW! NO REGRETS!

Train to Busan: 5/15/2025

I went into this movie already knowing the ending because it was something I had seen all over TikTok, this however did not make it hurt any less. The way people were selfless when it came to sacrificing themselves as well as the harsh reality of how selfish people can be when it comes to serving made everything hurt all the more. There is no way I can ever watch this movie without crying simply because of the ending. Now to the actual story, the fact that it could have been avoided if the person didn’t sneak in the train is crazy, it really shows how one thing can change everything. It also realistic how the military was not able to fully stop in the area they said they did, but instead another as we see in the end. There is so much to talk about but I don’t wanna spoil it nor do I wan cry while writing. It is simply a much watch movie.

my opinion

I just watched Train to Busan and wow—it completely blew me away. From the moment I stepped into the chaotic world of a zombie outbreak on a speeding train, I was hooked. What I loved most was how the film managed to mix edge-of-your-seat terror with moments of real, heartfelt emotion.

The story follows a father and his daughter whose bond deepens as they fight to survive. I found myself rooting for them not just because of the thrilling action but because the film reminded me of how important family and sacrifice are, even in the most desperate situations.

The tension throughout the movie is palpable, thanks in part to the confined setting of the train, which really ramped up the suspense. And while the zombies are terrifyingly relentless, it’s the human drama— the courage, the tough decisions, the personal sacrifices—that really made an impact on me.

In the end, Train to Busan isn’t just another zombie flick; it’s a powerful reminder of what makes us human. I left the theater feeling both exhilarated and emotionally moved, and I can’t recommend it enough.

☠A Trainwreck That'll Eat Your He♠️rt Out °7.8° °Excellent°

🚅2B is an exploration of what happens when a zombie infected person stumbles onto a loaded train as it leaves the station. Loads of SK features have eating front and center, but in this movie, the dining car is closed. Only the zombies get to snack.

The main protag is fund📈 manager and father, Seok-woo, who is traveling with his 10 year old daughter, Soo-an. She doesn't look 10, she's small and adorable. Newly divorced, dad is taking her to visit mom.

What ensues is what one can expect from a zombie thriller at 60+ full-steam-ahead mph, with cars, door, racks, & compartments everywhere.

The worst issue with the film is how characters don't take charge of their own well-being. None of these people are trained to kill. They aren't all grabbing or fabricating weapons. When a couple of them discover a major weakness the zombies have, they don't even inform the others or exploit it properly! One character had rigged armour, of sorts, around his arm, to go help rescue someone else. Why he took it off is perplexing: He needs it later. It isn't surprising that individuals would be paralyzed by shock, but the fact that nobody got fired up enough to take charge is hard to accept. More pro-activity would have kept one car of passengers on track to save many lives. I suppose it wouldn't be a horror film if nobody acts idiotic.

What's also on display is the best and worst of humanity. The moral centers are the 10 year old Soo-an, and the big man, along with his very pregnant wife (she looks like she's 11 mos in, or carrying triplets in some scenes). The embodiment of evil and conniving, self-interest is portrayed by another passenger. As his true nature doesn't raise its ugly head until midway, his portrayal shows how dire circumstances can bring out the best and worst of people. Seok-woo is claiming the middle moral ground in the beginning of the show. He intends no harm, but he's not about to get involved or inconvenience himself, either. He even stores his investors' phone numbers in a file entitled "Lemmings" on his 📱. We watch his moral journey, not just his geographic journey, during the route of the flick.

It all seems typical - not bad, not great - for the first 70-75% of the film. The last portion of the movie is excellent with regards to the filming, action, special effects, and acting (Zombies go flying all over in a fantastic trainwreck - we even see a train pull a horde of zombies as more and more of them jump onto the growing blob of a pile!). Kim Su-an, who plays the kid, may not get to kill a zombie, but she slays her part. SK entertainment, in an apparent overabundance of riches, parades a steady flow of amazing child actors.

All Aboard! T2B is definitely worth the trip, particularly for the excellent last stretch. It comes in at just under 2hrs, and it streaks by in no time at all. The focus is on the people, but the zombies make some 🆒 moves, too. In the final analysis, it is also a worthy primer of what not to do during a zombie apocalypse, which I daresay might come in handy someday.

The Dead Ain't Slow

I like a good zombie movie, and this did not disappoint. I was surprised by this because the main character was the guy from Coffee Prince and Goblin. I had seen those before watching this, and was only exposed to his romantical stuff. Wasn't sure about how'd he do in a horror environment. I wasn't disappointed.

As far as Zombies go I don't think Rick and his merry band of plucky survivors ftom the Walking Dead is getting on the Train to Busan. These zombies don't play around. The group wouldn't make it out the terminal.

Definitely worth the watch.

WILL MAKE YOU CRY

This movie is so good. I CRY EVERYTIME I WATCH IT! This story worked so well and the actors portrayed it perfectly. If you're scared of zombies I don't recommend it. some characters will annoy you but if you don't hate a character in a movie is it even good? (maybe I'm just a hater) seriously great watch. has some unexpected outcomes but it will warm your heart. OH children are involved in this movie about being trapped on a train with zombies. do with that information as you will.

Be ready to cry?

One of the BEST Zombie movies ever made. It zooms in the cruelty of humans against the instinct cruelty of zombies.
Excellent acting, directing and an emotional rollercoaster.
I recommend it without a dought.
Even if you dont like zombie movies like my friend did, watch it, you will then change your mind.
Gong yoo is an extremely talented actor and we know that over many of his movies.
Many Korean actors that you will later see in many Korean Dramas and movies, made a debute at Train to Busan.
