I sincerely hope Mantou doesn't choose either of them
I wasn't planning to write a review since it's been years since I watched this, but I noticed there were only positive reviews, and I thought I’d share my perspective. The plot, in theory, is actually quite good. Mantou is betrothed to Li Tang and in love with him, but Li Tang doesn’t reciprocate her feelings. To make matters more complicated, her parents arrange a marriage for her with Brian. Then, in a typical love triangle twist, Li Tang starts to realize that he might actually like Mantou after all. It’s a classic love triangle setup, and I have to admit, I’m a fan of love triangles — they frustrate me to no end, but that emotional messiness is what makes them so compelling. I probably would have really enjoyed this drama if it wasn’t for the fact that both potential love interests are complete jerks.
Both Li Tang and Brian treat Mantou like a prize to be won, constantly objectifying her and turning her into the center of a toxic competition rather than seeing her as a person.
Many people criticized Mantou for being stupid and dense, and yes, I can see why they’d say that. But the beauty of the story lies in Mantou's journey. She begins as someone desperate to earn love, only to realize by the end that her worth doesn’t depend on the approval of anyone — especially not two mediocre men. Her arc of self-discovery and empowerment is what ultimately makes the drama somewhat worth watching.
As for the acting, it’s decent — not the best I’ve seen, but certainly not the worst either. None of the performances really stood out to me in a remarkable way, though they were serviceable for the story being told.
I don’t think I’d rewatch this drama, mainly because Li Tang and Brian just annoy me so much. However, I did really enjoy Mantou’s character development, so if I were to watch it again, it would probably be for her storyline alone.
Overall, this drama has all the ingredients of a strong romantic setup, but it’s undermined by its frustrating male leads. Still, its message — that a woman’s value isn’t determined by others — is a redeeming and resonant takeaway.

It is a really funny drama with funny characters. Mantou has parents that are really humorous and they adore her a lot as well. I must admit that Mantou's stupidity really frustrates me at certain part of the dramas but she is a really adorable and understanding girl. This drama is really worth watching and rewatching because it is really funny and the plot is fantastic as well.

the mafia's daughter....
●Woah just by mafia word I expected some action-packed drama, but this one was a romantic comedy in every moment. The mafia background is carried solely by Brian through his tough actions. But one thing I got confused if he is mafia shouldn't people/students be afraid of him, how come he is a charmer. Pursuing the girl passionately although she doesn't love you is done nicely, but sometimes felt like a pushover. Also, Li-Tang was annoying, he was just there to create trouble, as a saying goes “you don’t the value of something until it is lost”Mantou's relationship with her servant was sweet, the way she orders him to do stupid jobs. The series might be U-Prince but for me, Mantou stole the show.
The only thing I didn’t like was too much product placement and a lot of bits of other supporting characters, I wished it had more of the lead's romance. The kisses and chemistry of the leads were amazing.
●Mook is a charmer, perfectly portrayed the character of dumb yet kind-hearted Mantou. Although she is playing stupid, she does it so adorably like a child whom you cannot ignore. Mook shines out in whatever role she plays.
●March as Brian was nice, riding a bike covering his muscular body with the black leather jacket. His comic timing and persistence for the girl he likes is amazing because we all see that she is stupid.
●The music is playful and catchy.
●I would rewatch this once again for the stupidity of FL which is cute.

The story was funny at first and the leading lady was adorable. I also liked the fact that the love triangle had a chance and it was interesting overall. And I would have loved the main love story if the U prince wasn't a bit mean to the girl and always putting her down. I do get that he was in love with her for years and that he was a bit awkward, but he was a bit violent when it came to her.
Other than that, the drama was entertaining. So, seven out of ten.

sinceramente...
