I'll confess, there's a lot going on with the plot. They dragged my emotions left and right. One minute I would be happy and the next, I would find myself wide-eyed and in utter shock. However, it wasn't overwhelming. Sure, I felt dizzy at times but I have no regrets whatsoever. And frankly, if I'm being honest, I think the romance helped with a lot.
I am so grateful that the cast has graced us with loads of hilarious moments to look back on. There wasn't a single moment where I wasn't giddy watching my favorite characters interact with one another. One thing that I was really disappointed about, though, was the fact that we never got the chance to delve into our antagonist's past. Jang Mi Kwan did such an incredible job portraying this character (especially for his first acting role), it's a shame the character itself lacked in depth.
The original soundtracks were very befitting of this drama. It did well with capturing the feel of it all. At times, I even found myself singing along to some of the lyrics.
Overall, I had a blast watching this drama. It was nice to see our main characters grow both as individuals and as a couple. There's not a single person I wouldn't recommend this to. As far as rewatching it goes, I think I'd be insane if I didn't. The memories are just too good for me not to relive.

min-min charismatic cutypie gestures....omg.i lives it they were just tooo cute ...
and then then the most liked thing was she was in the lime light the director has scored perfectly for the series name ,actually when i started the series i felt they might show her weak or somewhat very un-fightable or something like that but that was never the case. it was superb . one more thing is, always in a k-series the guardian end up at a bad shape (in most of the series) like the guardian( her our police li) he does everything for the heroin and end up very bad, but in this series it was different- i liked it. his respect was restored and he is still not left at a pathetic situation at the end of the series.thats good... and min-min aiegos and cute gestures stole the show .really really cute to watch....tillt he last scene of the last episode he was just damn cute....min-min is just....so cute totally.(he had done justice to his character.)and our bong bong is really a "strong women do bong soon".
to say it totally its a superb drama ,all time watchable drama...
its a mixture of romance, crime, thriller , investigation , women power and ala and all....
the main lead was just osam duo....

Everything all at once
Every once in a long while the social media hype about a Korean series lives up to its hype. This is one of those rare cases.The storyline, the acting, the chemistry, (and above all ) the humour, are all there. It is not easy to find a show where you can laugh out loud and cry during the same episodes. The actors have all done a fantastic job and this is one gripping and enjoyable watch. The ending for the two leads was a bit rushed and there is definitely a lack of seeing them together - but perhaps we can't have it all. Some of the episodes deal with a very difficult and serious criminal topic - the fact that the series goes from such traumatic viewing to blatant humor sometimes just feels wrong. Yet, it is an entertainment show and it does really entertain us. A huge kudos for the character and acting of the female lead's mother. Finally, we have a Korean mother who does not make us want to throw stuff at the screen. How refreshing!

A Delightful Blend of Laughs, Romance, and Superpowers
If you're in the mood for a romantic comedy that's firing on all cylinders, then look no further. The 2017 K-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" delivers just that.This is one of those rare shows with no bad/boring episodes. It has it all: plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, sizzling chemistry between all three leads, swoon-worthy romance, and a dash of superhero-esque fantasy.
The premise is simple. Do Bong Soon (played by Park Bo Young) is a petite and kind-hearted woman who just so happens to possess Herculean strength, a gift passed down through the women in her family. When she catches the eye of the handsome and eccentric CEO of a gaming company Ahn Min Hyuk (played by Park Hyung Sik), who is in need of a bodyguard, Bong Sun's life is thrown into chaos.
Ahn Min Hyuk is a simp for our girl from the moment he sees her. He probably doesn’t even get yet that’s he’s fallen, but it doesn’t take him long. What’s stopping their relationship from flourishing early on is her crush on her childhood friend, policeman In Guk Du (played by Kim Ji Soo). Gu Do however keeps our girl Bong Soon in the friendzone while seeing someone else. Still, he’s a caring friend and when Ahn Min Hyuk enters the picture, we have a crash of that alpha energy… and really hilarious moments between all three due to the little misunderstanding about Ahn Min Hyuk’s sexual orientation. There are so many opportunities here to make it entertaining and the writers do just that.
Love triangle (if done right) is my favorite trope and this drama delivers. Our heroine is confused and has to make a choice between the two and they are both equally great man.
We also have a serial kidnapper in the neighborhood and our characters get entangled in that as well. This add a little more flair to the show.
The writing is top-notch, with countless little details that all come together in a cohesive and compelling way. Bong Soon is an incredibly relatable heroine, and we can't help but root for her as she undergoes a wonderful journey of self-discovery and empowerment, learning how to use her powers for good. The two male leads—the playful Min Hyuk and the earnest police officer In Guk Du—provide the perfect foils, each bringing their own unique charms to the table. I’m also going to say that the chemistry between male leads is amazing. Sometimes, I had no idea if I wanted either one of them to end up with our girl.

Park Hyung Sik was born to do comedy, in my opinion. He’s a charming, silly, smitten, and adorable in this role. He and Park Bo Young sparkle on screen, delivering gut-busting moments that never feel forced. And the way the show balances the humor with heartfelt themes of family, friendship, and justice is nothing short of masterful.
I honestly, enjoyed this drama so much, I can talk about it for days. I can’t remember when I laughed so hard when I watched romantic comedy. K-dramas also tend to get all mushy toward the end with the comedic elements being pushed back to give room for other things. Here, it’s not the case and I think this was the right choice.
Kim Won Hae who played Team Leader O and his gangster doppelgänger needs an award for his dual role in this. He nailed it. I think Team Leader O is my favorite side character in all of the K-dramas I’ve seen. And I’ve seen a lot.
Overall, if you're in the market for a romantic comedy that will keep you thoroughly entertained from start to finish, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" is an absolute must-watch. With its winning combination of relatable characters, swoon-worthy romance, and just the right amount of superhero flair, this drama is pure perfection. We also have a really good wrap with with everyone involved and no loose ends or unnecessary break up between the lead couple. You’ll have that awesome fuzzy feeling after finishing that will lift up your mood for sure.
P.S. I do have to say that while I’d like to see Ji Soo (he was great in Moon Lovers) return to screen, you need to make your own decision about the actor and if you want to support him. In 2021, school bullying and assault accusations were made against him and his career stalled. While, it appears that most of the accusations were cleared out, the controversy caused him to lose his contract. I find it sad. I think there are worse (and proven) things actors in Korean industry has done. Compared to some, this is in my opinion is not worth losing a career if the person is truly sorry and tries to somehow atone for what he’s done. In any case, this is just my opinion. I encourage everyone to think for themselves.
Otherwise, enjoy the drama and laugh a little.

it's so good
this is one of the best drama ever. It gives you butterflies, it makes my hands sweat and gives me goosebumps when the culprit is on. A bit second lead syndrome.The highschool students and That gang made the show so much funnier to watch!!I was so excited everyday to wake up and watch this. I really would love a season 2! I wish I could forget everything just so I can watch this again. HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST DRAMA IN HISTORY THAT I HAVE EVER LAID MY EYES TO WATCH! I recommend every one watch it. it was pretty good because i watched it when i first started watching dramas. I kinda hate romance shows that mid-way through, end up being a crime investigation. I get it if the show is about crime, but why mix romance and crime EVERY FXCKING TIME. idk i just got tired of it, but this show did a great job and the acting was pretty good from what o remember. I genuinely think they could have not casted any better people, though it's sad the actors behind the scenes. There are also so many ost's that i liked and still listen too today! I wish i could watch it for the first time again. Its cute and mysterious and keeps you on your toes. Excellent series, with a great CL (great OTPs between Park Hyung Sik & Park Bo Young), and funny to watch.Girl with 1 super strength who will protect 1 CEO (bodyguard). Love triangle and menacing serial killer.

I watched this drama to get over my weightlifting fairy kim bok joo hangover and thankfully it didn't disappoint . It was a fun watch and i don't think it had a single dull episode. I loved the acting of the female lead and some of the moments in the drama had me laughing out too loud. without giving out any spoilers, some of the things i loved about this drama were
- the plot! - like i said never a dull episode !!
- the fact that do bong soon is played by such a petite cute actress
- the whole team leader han doppleganger sub plot
- the acting of the supporting actors ( specially the main villain and bong soon's first crush - must say i liked him even better than the male lead)

Eu nunca imaginei que fosse tão bom
Sem duvidas um dos melhores dramas que já assisti, eu n achei que fosse gostar TANTO desse dorama. Eu comecei a assistir a uns anos atrás porém nunca tive coragem de terminar então fui reassistir este ano(2023) por conta do lançamento de Strong Girl Nam Soon. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon é extremamente perfeito, o casal é perfeito, e a história desse dorama é perfeitamente cativante, eu comecei a assistir sem parar porque é muito viciante.O desenvolvimento do casal foi meio lento já que continha um triângulo amoroso, porém foi perfeito o jeito que eles se relacionaram, o jeito que eles se apoiavam(quando ela finalmente percebeu que gostava do CEO 😭😭). Eu não tenho dúvidas sobre o casal principal, foi a melhor escola possível, acredito que eles se completam de uma forma imensurável.
A atuação dos atores é impecável, por mais que os efeitos de imagem sejam meio ruins, isso não estragou a série de ser extremamente perfeita em todos os aspectos possíveis.
Este dorama está entrando oficialmente pro meu top 3 em segundo lugar, e não tenho arrependimentos ou críticas a fazer sobre este drama que foi incrivelmente PERFEITO.
