My Absolute Boyfriend

I was super excited for this drama, that I've literally devoured the first episodes till the point turn out to be sloppy. I like the idea of a robot-human interaction, but it is really nothing new and the main actress (Minah) was really bad. Everything is messy, unnatural and sometimes dumb on actions and stories, that all of the doen't amke a real sense.
I dropped it till i waited for the last episode to be aired just to read the enidng, that i know disappointedmany people due to is strange plot...

Frustrating AF

I found "My Absolute Boyfriend" to be one of the most frustrating shows I've ever watched. After eight episodes, I had to stop due to rising stress levels. I've never been a fan of Yeo Jin Goo and his Frankenstein’s monster like head. I don’t find his acting compelling at all and has lost the potential he showed in The Moon Knight Embracing The Sun. I decided to give the show a chance because I like Bang Min-Ah, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to keep me engaged.

In my opinion, Yeo Jin Goo's character was incredibly annoying. Additionally, the show fails to capture the essence of the manga it’s adapted from. Although it's been a while since I watched the Taiwanese version, I recall it being significantly better.

It's hard to pinpoint whether the blame lies with the actor, the writer, or the director, but it seems to be a combination of all three. It's a shame to see such a promising story concept poorly executed.

Si sa che gli adattamenti live-action migliori sono quelli giapponesi, quelli coreani di solito non eccellono per la loro fedeltà al cartaceo. Però questo drama era partito veramente benissimo e mi ha fatto sperare in una storia, non proprio fedele al manga, ma che ne manteneva comunque l'essenza. Quindi un inizio buonissimo...peccato che poi si è perso nelle varie puntate, cadendo nello scontato e allontanandosi sempre più alla storia del manga. le ultime puntate le ho trovate lente e non mi hanno preso per niente. Vale comunque la visione per le prime puntate veramente carine.
