Short and sweet with bits of stupid resolutions...

I just rewatch this drama. Is is simple, short and...

STORY - The Artist Rae Wan and Translator Eun Seong are best friends for almost 10 years. He loves her since long ago and she don't view him like that.
One day she kiss him and... She regrets, he falls even more for her and...
She is so selfish that she chooses nothing to love, because if there was a breakup she will loose his friend. The problem is that they stay apart for a year, couldn't never understand Korean love and timing...
One day she saws a poster about his exhibition with her, all about his love for her. So she barges in to his house, one year after she left...

ACTING - wonderful acting by both, who are the main actors of the drama.

OST - interesting because it is a part of the drama.

REWATCH - It is so short so why not

THE ENDING - don't know how I could end this drama, but it felt below my expectations...

OVERALL - could be an amazing drama, short and sweet. The 1 year gap and some decisions were strange for me.
But, I now know that Korean dramas are not all toooooooo long!! They can do things in the right amount of time...

Cute although unrealistic

This is just a 4-episode series of 30 minutes each. So those who want a break from heavy dramas can go for binging this like a movie on a single sitting. The series manages to convey a lot of moments, back stories, emotions and events within a short time. Chemistry between the leads felt believable.
The only thing I didn't like was the 1 year time skip at the end where the FL ditches the ML as well as her pet, then one day she suddenly walks back into his life and nothing has changed. He doesn't even feel overwhelmed on seeing her..just accepts her back in life! I don't understand the need for such a long time skip, and the ending felt underwhelming. But it is nevertheless a cute drama to pass the time with.

What I really loved about You Drive Me Crazy were the emotions and chemistry between the leads. The female lead’s acting in particular stood out—she brought so much depth and authenticity to her character. I also appreciated that the timeline wasn’t rushed, allowing the story to unfold more naturally.

However, the storyline itself feels a bit average—best friends sleep together, get awkward, and then realize they’re in love. While the plot might be familiar and predictable, the execution by the cast and crew elevated it. They made the most of the material, and the acting really carried the show.

All in all, it’s a cute, one-time watch that gives you those warm, feel-good moments without expecting anything groundbreaking. Perfect for a cozy, light binge.

SO COZY

If you don't like overcomplicated dramas full of misunderstandings and stupid characters, then I recommend you watch this. This story is just about two adult friends who are both confused about their feelings and living their adult lives. The chemistry of Han Eunsung (Lee Yooyoung) and Kim Raewan (Kim Sunho) is adorable. The flow of the story is great, even though there are only 4 episodes. I also loved the part where he draws the female lead. Maybe I just like men who are whipped for their women. I believe this is one of the best drama specials on MBC.

I'll rate this a 9/10. So simple and cute. I'm also hoping to see Sung Joo (Yoon Heenam) in other dramas too.

A short drama about old friends who fell in love. As it is only 2 episode long there was no built up or any interesting development. However, it was fun to watch and entertaining. The love story was nice and cute, though I didn't like the ending. The performances, overall, were okay, as the drama had some teary scenes as well as dramatic. The pace of the plot, moreover, was actually very good, considaring the length of it. There were some cute moments, too and the couple had chemistry. So, 6 out of 10.

I'm all Kim Seon Ho these days <3 You guys know that I'm always staring at some actor that made my heart pounds, and it's time for Seon Ho shines, haha. I'm in love with his story as an actor and with his personality. Watching 2D1N I can see a lot of him and I'm really cheering for his career. Fighting, Seon Ho oppa! <3

But let's talk about this special drama. It's a special with four episodes with thirty minutes each, and I found this after seeing a mention on 2D1N. The kissing scene between Kim Seon Ho and Lee Yoo Young has more than 12 million viewers on Youtube and is pretty popular in Korea. It isn't my favorite kiss scene in Dramaland, but it's pretty bold considering the most scene that we can watch.

The story of the drama spin around the life of Kim Rae Wan (Kim Seon Ho) and Lee Yoo Young (Han Eun Song), that meet each other eight years ago and turn into best friends. The situation changes after they get drunk and sleep together. The episodes show how they will fix this situation and discover their feelings.

I thought the chemistry between Seon Ho and Yoo Young pretty amazing! I really believed in their friendship and the way how their feelings were exposed was very natural and beautiful for me. Particularly, I love stories with friends that become lovers. I think that is a simple way to show a real love story. The performance of them as main roles was nothing different or amazing, but it was pretty good and cute considering the script.

The story wasn't unexpected, but I really enjoy the process and the fact of the episodes be short. The ending wasn't that good for me, and because of that, I will put this as a GOOD ONE, walking to a PRETTY GOOD ONE (★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★/2). If you wanna something short, fun, and cute, go for it! If you wanna see Kim Seon Ho's previous work and smile with the Prince Dimples, just watch it!

Sweet Yet Lacking in Chemistry

"You Drive Me Crazy" is a drama that packs a lot into its brief run, offering a short and sweet experience that's easy to binge. Kim Seon Ho shines in this series, bringing his charm and talent to the screen in a way that makes it impossible not to like him. His performance is definitely a highlight, capturing the essence of his character with ease and making every scene he's in memorable.

However, despite the strengths of the drama, including its concise storytelling and Kim Seon Ho's standout performance, the chemistry between the leads felt lacking. With just four episodes, the drama had a tall order in developing a deep and believable connection between its main characters. This limited runtime might have contributed to the difficulty in fully realizing the potential of their relationship, leaving a bit to be desired in terms of romantic chemistry. Overall, "You Drive Me Crazy" offers a quick, enjoyable watch, especially for fans of Kim Seon Ho, but those looking for a deeply connected lead pair might find the series wanting in that aspect.

It drove me crazy for sure

Things I liked

1 The trope Best Friends to Lovers is my favorite so I had hope that it would be deep, funny, or even mildly interesting. It was none of the above. They didn't develop any of the characters and it was boring and nowhere romantic or sweet or funny. A total failure.

2 The ML. Unfortunately for him he was paired with an actress he had no chemistry with and it ruined everything. He is a good actor though and I'd love to see more of his work.

Things I hated

1 The FL. What an unattractive, cold, untalented actress. I didn't feel anything for her and I wanted so much the ML to step away from her. She tried to be cute, she isn't. She tried to be deep, she isn't. She was awful as much as the script.

2 How they ruined the trope and didn't develop the characters or the story. They could have a perfect rom com they created a bland uninspiring story.

It didn't drive me crazy... it's just a boring drama

"You Drive Me Crazy" is a drama about two best friends, that on a drunken mistake slept together and have to face the consequences, how that is going to affect their relationship.

I know is a mini drama, but everything was rushed, the story development is flaw.
Also the poster is a little misleading, since the other characters barely appear on screen and didn't cause any affect on the main "couple".
In conclusion, it's a drama you watch and forgets almost immediately.

« You Drive Me Crazy » fut une belle découverte. 🥰
