Miss & Mrs. Cops

This should be on everyone's watch list, for the story alone. It hits on a very important matter; crime against women and girls that could be happening everywhere. And from the other side of the coin, the police focus on what could seem priority cases versus the impactful invasion of privacy against women. How there must be a shift or at least a mutual interest for crimes against women by all means. Hats off to the Director, production, writers, and to the cast. They took on this sensitive subject and balanced the comedy without taking away from the importance of the matter. Both female leads were superb. Yoon Sany Hyun was hilarious I have to say, you would smile every time he is on the screen. Choi Soo Young, I liked her role to the point I wish she could have been given more screen time. The entire cast should be applauded for taking on a non-typical formula for a guaranteed high rating, yet made a very good one indeed.

Don't waste your time on this movie..

Well i got this suggestion by my friend and it was a waste of time.. the story was suchhhh a clicheeee and seriously i love cliche storys but not this one ... lets say the acting was good but not good enough... the whole movie shows how cops don'tgive a f about things than suddenly two cops who aren't even in they job decide that they should do this and im not mad bc they did but it's the fact that how police get a bad review on this ... it looks cops there goes for fun and the captain only sleep and he gets in his sense only the last minutes of drama . Also how come a crowd seeing a man beating of a woman no matter if she is a cop or.not but seeing her get beat by a man in the whole public and no one does smth like even trying.. im 18 and belive when i say i would interfere and nor just stand there seeing and.making.scary noises ... those part of the movie really pissed me.of... also the headchife of the older cop like suddenly in the end she gets off good and she couldn't be good since the beginning but it took.her 1 girl to get abused her cop friend getting almost killed and got fired bc of that and she she couldn'tbe nice then but when she was about to catch the bad guy she will be okay i know hownu feel let me help you ... and thats it im really pissed on how much time i wasted srsly

The only part that’s interesting is the last 22 minutes. Well, the comedy is quite funny, especially Mi Ran’s english. Sooyoung’s facial expressions were also quite funny for me, but I think the storyline was a bit too cliche and predictable.

I think it’s a coincidence that I met Yum Hye Ran for the second time now after watching ‘Innocent Witness’ and I think her acting was quite on point. Song Sac was also in the movie and I met him again after watching ‘The Fiery Priest’. One aspect that I think could’ve been better for this movie is that maybe they could’ve lessen the curse words.

Ji Hye e Mi Yeong quase morreram tentando acabar com os criminosos

Enquanto Mi Yeong se adapta à nova realidade de ser mãe e equilibrar suas responsabilidades familiares e profissionais, ela começa a se perguntar se sua carreira como policial acabou. Ela sente falta da adrenalina de investigar crimes graves e das interações com seus colegas na Unidade. No entanto, ao mesmo tempo, ela se sente grata por ter mais tempo para passar com seu filho e apreciar os momentos preciosos da maternidade. Mi Yeong também começa a refletir sobre as desigualdades de gênero no local de trabalho e como a licença-maternidade ainda é um desafio para muitas mulheres em sua profissão. Ela começa a pensar em maneiras de promover mudanças positivas para apoiar outras mulheres que desejam ter uma família e continuar trabalhando em empregos exigentes.

Eles descobrem que a mulher é vítima de 'pornografia de câmera espiã' e foi ameaçada de que iria aparecer em um site da comunidade em 3 dias.
Os dois policiais levam o caso aos poderes competentes, mas devido à carga de trabalho, ninguém consegue resolver a tempo.
Ji Hye e Mi Yeong sabiam que não podiam deixar a situação se arrastar por mais tempo. Eles se perguntaram o que poderiam fazer para descobrir a verdade sobre o caso e finalmente fazer justiça. Juntos, eles desenvolveram um plano para investigar a fundo e obter as provas necessárias para incriminar os responsáveis pelo crime.

Miss & Mrs. Cops: When Women Unite

After watching Mission Cross, I found myself more curious about action-comedy films. While browsing, I came across this one.
In Miss & Mrs. Cops, we witness the rise and fall of police officer Park Mi-Young (played by Ra Mi-Ran). During her prime, she was a standout in a special task force created to include women in law enforcement and highlight their crucial role in fighting criminal content and violence against women. However, after getting married and having a child, her career takes a turn she’s reassigned to the complaints department, which feels more like a storage room where talented women deal with rude civilians and live in constant fear of being fired. This fear breeds competition, flattery, and insincerity among them.
The plot of Miss & Mrs. Cops succeeds in criticizing the structures that women are often forced into, especially in male-dominated environments like the police force. It also reflects how women’s careers are treated as having an expiration date, and how difficult it is to juggle home, children, and marriage. On the flip side, we meet Jo Ji-Hye (played by Lee Sung-Kyung), a detective with the same thirst for justice and impulsive behavior, which causes trouble for her team.
Beyond being colleagues, they’re family. When they start working together on a case no one else wants to touch, they begin to realize it’s not them against each other it’s them against the world and the bureaucratic system.
As I mentioned earlier, the plot nails the critical tone. However, the comedy didn’t work for me. I understood the scenes meant as comic relief, but they felt forced and didn’t make me laugh.
That said, the settings are captivating, and there’s nothing more electrifying than watching women punch and kick men in the name of justice!
