When I read the novel it felt like I'm reading straight version of Untamed.
ML is poker face who hate FL cus she is so flirtatious with him and not him with every boy around. Her personality is like wei wuxian. Like she is his twin sister or his woman version XD
FL loves to drink and fool around. She wanted to protect everyone but they killed her to have her powers.
ML waited 20 years to meet her again and for her sacrificed so much just to be with her again.

It's Really good so far I believe it more about Lan Zhans Feelings for Wei Ying it's for International viewers....It's pretty good so far

The Untamed is an epic fantasy with a romance at its center, led by a problem child, Wei Wuxian who comes back from the dead in order to fix the broken world he left behind — and finally unite with his true love or lifelong bosom friend, Lan Wangji.

Similarly, both have great chemistry between the leads. There is murder and mystery with lots of political misuses, although 'Love is More Than a Word' is rushed towards the end due to bans so its storyline is not as fleshed out.
Both have endearing main leads with their rich and stoic counterparts who support them. Unlike 'Untamed', in 'Love is More Than a Word' the leads show their affection more openly and there is a softness that is not easily shown in many censored BL adaptations.
'Love is More Than a Word' is less sword fighting and more courtroom intrigue.

The Bromance is on a high level and I they are both historical dramas. They also are about friendship and loyalty.

The Untamed is the parent story of the Living Dead so I advise you to watch The Untamed first to know the background story of this movie.

I know Xiao Zhan from The Untamed. He has great acting talent. Although the two dramas are different types, I can see the shadow of Gu Wei and Wei Wuxian overlapping, especially when the feelings of the two characters erupt. I'm looking forward to Xiao Zhan's next drama, I can't wait to watch it on WeTV!!!

not quite similar but can say it's great. wuxia stuff thrills, one diffrence is that it's not quidte romantic b-ut

one of the biggest reasons is Zan Xiao. and the mystery of the character of ML.
both are amazing. also full of unconditional love with sense.
