Basic story but heart-warming characters

The story line is pretty basic and I won't say boring but it's not that exiting. A typical boy who is an A student and always alone and a "bad boy" who bullies him at first and then falls in love with him. But I'm not saying that this Drama is bad! Cause what makes all History Dramas special and unique are the characters or more how the characters are played! Xiang Hao Ting for me is one of the most coolest and adorable characters ever! How he plays his role is so funny and refreshing. Maybe some people find him annoying but he's just my spirit animal! So I can say that I really enjoy how the characters are being played and hope that there will be added more excitement to the story.

I was so invested in this series. It truly broke my heart. He didn’t deserve that. He had already been through so much in his life. Then for that to happen!! I’m writing this review a few months after I finished because I was so angry. Like why would they do that. I know it’s just a show. But I was emotionally invested in there relationship. I usually watch BL’s multiple times. Just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I can’t bring myself to watch this one again. Don’t get my wrong I loved it. But it was just such a tragic ending that I didn’t expect. It has scarred me. HE DIDNT DESERVE THAT AT ALL!!!!

Choose your own ending

The first time I watched, I watched all the way through. Now I watch right up until Yu Xi Gu leaves for the grocery store, turn it off, and pretend it ends there.
it isn't so sad that way, and doesn't make you hate all the time you've spent watching it. Except for all of the violence, class disparity and family abandonment, this is in my top 10 BL dramas, as long as I stop it at the right point.
Not to say it isn't beautiful the way it is written, and I love that part too, but just for feeling great about the rematch, for me, it is easy to leave the end off.

This is yet another story, which for many portrays real life and how unfair it can sometimes be.

I see the big problem today is trying to create moments that happen in people's lives. However, bringing these moments to the screens of the series can be something bad for the main purpose of these stories.

The viewer is mainly a fan, looking most often for dramas that can bring fun and happiness with the love of others. I, like many fans, have been following History's stories for a while, always knowing that there will be an ending, albeit cliché, happy where the good boy stays with the other boy. But in H3 MODC, writer Shao Hui Ting broke this rule. A good story is often ruined by bad endings, and H3 MODC was no different. Maybe we could blame the main actors, maybe if they were with weaker actors we couldn't be so sympathetic to the characters.

The story itself raises questions about whether or not he actually died, which makes us calmer but also unhappy. Unfortunately, this is a series I wish I had never watched, but unfortunately I can't. What I can do is that in History4, if the same writer works on this series, I will definitely wait for the last episode and then watch.

sOoOo at first this series was rlly rlly good but in the end...
dam.. not gonna lie me and my bf cried (my bf rarely rarely crying)
yup the ending was rlly tragic especially what they got through.. ugh not fair
i dont think you can rewatch this series but i highly recommend to watch. yes its tragic but still a rlly fun series in the beginning, but you need to be ready after the laugh and smile you will cry or be sad so yea.
i cant rlly tell something bad about this series just the ending was sad but not all the series can have a happy ending right?

This is a great show, it has so much going for it, I am so impressed with the quality of ascting with a big shout out to Wayne song who is amazing his potrayal of some one who has lost someone who means the world to them is breathtaking it was so emotional that I had a good cry. Having seen him in other roles which are very different, he can play a gangster and it is totaly believable, this is not to take anything away from any of the cast he just really stoodout for me.
It is very nice watching the different characters develope throughout the drama, for me it is very well written I just can't falt this show so please watch it.

Moral Lesson: Not every relationship has a happy ending. All living things on earth will eventually fade and ends. We cannot have everything as we are also not perfect. Story will teach us how to cherish every moment that you are together. How you plan your future together. How you see yourself being with the person that you love. But most specially the great lesson is those happy moments might be taken by universe on the time that we all do not expect.

Good Story and wake up call still but I will not watch it again as I do not want to suffer over and over again. Hopefully the next HIStory Series will put a good smile in our hearts :)

I really like Wayne specially when he smiles he is very charming hoping to see him do more BL roles.
