Both are about a modern day FL who enters the world of a historical novel in which the ML will eventually become a villain. She begins changing the story and falls in love with the ML.

Female lead goes to another "dimension", and everything starts from the beginning. Both female leads know what is going to happen and tries to change it. In Legally Romance, FL goes back in time 11 years to when she was still a college student and this time, she tries to fix her life. In the Romance of Tiger and Rose, the FL gets trapped in her script and tries to make her story stay on track. In both dramas, the female leads try to set the male leads up with the second female leads but fails to do so. Both dramas are light and funny.

Both have a modern day lead or leads entering a fictional historical world, and both poke fun at/play with common wuxia tropes.

Hate to Love couple
Bickering couple
Optimistic, bright female lead
Sort of narcissistic prodigy male lead
Similar comedy
Parody of romance tropes
Male lead falls in love first thinking that the female lead liked him due to narcissism

Dramas have similar vibe and ending. FL travels from modern time to alternate historical dimension where she is trapped and must achieve certain objectives to return home. She doesn’t expect to fall in love along the way but once she does it changes everything…

- Matriarchy setting (all-women setting in LtHT)
- FL is from a matriarchy, ML is from a patriarchy
- Rushed marriage between the leads
- Princess FL
- Girlboss SFL
- Sismance
- Viscous queen mothers
- Discrimination (Misandry in both + Classism in LtHT)
- Slight gender role reversal vibes
- FL chases ML first

The Romance of Tiger and Rose is a parody with social commentary while Laplae the Hidden Town is a serious melodrama.

Both FLs are writers/screenwriters who enter their own novel where they are an unfortunate character.

Though it is not demon and immortal storyline, The Romance of Tiger and Rose is also funny from the start till the end with such a simple story. If you are looking for a crack with good acting, you should try this
