This is a bad boy / purehearted girl romance. It is Cute+Fun+Light-hearted, but the actors and director took the production seriously. {Oh, the bad boy. Enjoy him on the screen, but run away IRL girls!} Dylan Wang has to play a woman in a man's body in some scenes. He is superb. The theme song is Spotify-worthy. FL is darling. The villain is slightly overdone, but that's common in Chinese features. The Chinese do excel at inflicting pain in their entertainment, but LBFAD won't rip your heart out, so it is a nice break from more intense dramas.
- Fictional world travel (VR in AHL, Book in TRoTaR)
- Matriarchy setting
- FL is a princess
- Both FLs are similar in the sense that they're quirky, witty, and cute (AHL's FL is more assertive and stronger than the FL in TRoTaR) (Both actresses also look similar, lol)
- FL abducts a man who was betrothed to someone else to marry him instead (ML in TRoTaR, SML in AHL)
- Both FLs are notorious playgirls (previous character in TRoTaR, actual character in AHL)
- ML hates FL and tries to kill her (mutual dislike in AHL, one-sided dislike in TRoTaR)
- Male courtesan supporting character
- Gender role reversal themes (more in AHL)

Female lead goes to another "dimension", and everything starts from the beginning. Both female leads know what is going to happen and tries to change it. In Legally Romance, FL goes back in time 11 years to when she was still a college student and this time, she tries to fix her life. In the Romance of Tiger and Rose, the FL gets trapped in her script and tries to make her story stay on track. In both dramas, the female leads try to set the male leads up with the second female leads but fails to do so. Both dramas are light and funny.
