LOVED IT

What I liked about this drama was that, even though FL was sooooooo cringe, you get use to it because ML makes it all worth while. He always pretends like he doesn't love her and makes fun of her, but when he starts to kiss her you can see how much he's fallen for her without knowing it fully himself, he gets jealous when other men are around her, and also especially when she left to go back home, the back hug said it all.

I would have love the cringe to be less with the FL but overall I loved it.
I have rewatched this drama many times and it never gets boring
I wish there was a second season

Strangely addictive and enjoyable

I resisted watching this series for along time. The plot of a subordinate female nurse (Nanase Sakura) in love with a taciturn handsome doctor ( Kairi Tendo ) has been over-used. However I’ve watched this series a few times and there is something oddly charming about it which grows on you. The female protagonist seems annoying and cringey at first but you grow to love her just like Dr. Tendo does. I laughed out loud at her funny responses like when Kairi told his father how he intended to marry her. She immediately started to jump up and down and then quickly says “my apologies I lost my composure “. She is an authentic character, pure of heart character. The lead couple have good chemistry and the supporting cast is decent as well. There are no annoying characters in this series. Even the “competition” for Kendo isn’t vicious or manipulative. Overall the series was an enjoyable, light-hearted distraction.

There's no chemistry and it has quite a depressive tone

I went into this with high expectations but I was flat out disappointed. I mean, the story had its high points but it doesn't work properly. The story doesn't move from one end to the other. The characters and their stories seem disjointed. The other outstanding nurse felt like she was a major point of the drama but was neglected for most scenes. We couldn't see what she was thinking but only perceived it. That's not all, the rich patient plot came from nowhere to cause issues for the ML and FL. I am a screenwriter and from my POV, this had the potential to be a good story but it was a mess. There was no OST and nothing that gave the story life. It is a good watch for anyone that's patient but it's not worth the 8.4 rating. This is my first ever Jdrama and I think I'd stick with my Cdramas and Kdramas.

on my top Japanese drama.

I usually don't enjoy Japanese romance dramas as much as other Asian romance dramas, however I'm surprised how much I like this one.
Firstly, I really enjoyed Nanase as a character, she was cheerful, clumsy, happy, which are kinda of cliche characteristics, however she was probably one of the most open and in touch with her feeling type of character I've ever seen/ seen in a while. yes she might be slightly too dependent on a man she met and fell in love a first sight but you also see a very independent and determined side to her when it comes to her being a nurse !!!! I loved the way she would say what she felt, and even if she didnt say it directly, she clearly showed it in her actions. Loved that queen!!!!

As for Tendo, well he was the complete opposite to her. At first he kinda frustrated me, he had little to say and was just damn right rude to her. However he does grows on you. When they first get to gether, I still felt unsure about him and his feelings as the, "getting together" was kinda sudden on his part anyway, In a way. but his character development was very rewarding to watch. seeing the way Nanase changed him was pretty cute !!!! you see him open up more, say how he feels and display more affectionate actions towards her.

For the story itself, I liked it!! I mean it was nothing really "special" to say the least but it was nice, all the side characters were great, the stories of the patients where good, luckily not too many sad stories, so its not too sad. and yeh I would probably watch it again.!!!

BUTTERFLIES IN MY STOMACH

Honestly? beautiful. This whole drama made my heart feel warm. Let me start by telling you that all of the relationships presents in this drama are extremely healthy. ALL. Both love and friendship ones. I loved every character. Honestly the way Kairi falls deeply in love with Sakura is beautiful. She fell first but he fell harder literally. The storyline is hilarious and sweet at the same time, you simply can’t stop smiling and giggling and laughing during all the scenes. Let me tell you: you may cry a little bit because there are so not soo funny scenes but it’s part of it. EVERY character is funny, EVERY, they are all so sweet. And the way no matter what Sakura never gives up on her dream and she keeps going and you can clearly see that she’s growing up and how everyone keeps encourages her is extremely sweet. This was my first japanese drama and what an amazing way to start. Loved it. Prepare yourself to love every minute of it. Also I need to talk about this because it made me feel extremely happy: when Kisugi tells Sakura how he feels he never once stopped being an amazing friend to Kairi, he keeps helping both of them specially Sakura and he never ince blamed Sakura for not loving in back. This is what i want to see in dramas, i hate seeing so many unhealthy people doing the most stupid things and this was sincerely beautiful. I miss all of them already, 10/10.

The Fluffiest Rom-Com That’ll Give You a Permanent Stupid Grin

If you’re looking for a drama lighter than cotton candy—zero brain strain, zero tears, just pure dumb-happy vibes—then "Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo" is your perfect match. This rom-com isn’t trying to be deep or groundbreaking, and that’s exactly what makes it such a delightful watch. It’s light, it’s funny, it’s cheesy in the best way possible, and yes, it will have you grinning like an idiot the whole time.

Let's talk about Tendo-sensei, aka the walking definition of "I hate everyone but you." if you're a fan of tsundere types (the cold, rude, yet secretly soft-hearted guys), you’re in for a treat. Tendo-sensei played by Takeru Satoh is practically the blueprint. He’s cold, sarcastic, a bit of a red flag (in the drama universe of course), but undeniably charismatic. I mean, who gave this man the right to look that good in scrubs?! his constant squinting is a little much, though maybe it's part of the “tsun” package or just a personal choice. Either way, the man has presence.

And then we have Nanase, the bright, bubbly nurse who’s basically a human golden retriever. She’s not some ethereal beauty, but her sunshine energy and grit make her impossible not to root for. Girl’s got game, even a stone-cold doctor like Tendo can’t resist. Props to the actress bcs she nailed the awkward-yet-bold energy of her character.

Acting-wise? everyone delivers just fine. It’s nothing Oscar-worthy but honestly it doesn’t need to be. The chemistry is cute and the vibes are immaculate.

The script? oh gurrl this is so Japanese rom-com coded. Some of Nanase’s lines made me physically cringe from secondhand embarrassment... but like in a good way? HAHAHA (don't get me wrong, i love it tho).

Cinematography and production design aren’t anything revolutionary, but they get the job done. The hospital sets look legit and nothing screams low budget.

Now let’s take a moment to appreciate the OST. Japan really knows how to pick songs, especially in romance dramas. The music here just elevates the whole swoony vibe.

Final thoughts: 9/10 – Fluff Worth Binging. a lighthearted rom-com with no villains, and no dragged-out conflict. It doesn’t try to be anything more than it is, and that’s exactly why it works. It’s pure serotonin, especially when you catch yourself crushing hard on Tendo-sensei and thinking about stealing Tendo from Nanase, HAHAHA (just kidding.. but Nanase be careful i might actually steal Tendo Sensei from you! )

Bingeable in ten hours

Some medical dramas are prototypes of blood and guts which are not for the queasy and faint-hearted like me. This didn't make me nauseous. Some parts dealt with somber aspects, but the pleasant female lead made it more upbeat for me. The male lead is a tsundere all the way through, but we get real glimpses of his hidden depths, caring, and his secret smiles. 😏🤔

Only a particular type of personality like the female lead could be fully understanding and have tolerant acceptance of his characterization and idiosyncrasies. That's why I shipped the main couple and thought she was a good match for him.💏👫

I highly enjoyed this because there wasn't an overload of fillers, and I didn't want to miss a second of this drama, even when the credits for each episode vied with the crucial lines that tied up each episode. It was easy to watch in less than ten hours, yet I was fully entertained with no doldrums.

It has an excellent romance with good skinship. I have to wonder if hospitals are such hotbeds of gossip like their wards. I did have smiles and some laughter at the ironies and the way the male lead played the strict role against the female lead's gag lines. It definitely is a good romantic comedy whose plot is reminiscent of "Mischievous Kiss" and "Playful Kiss" for me.

I liked seeing the cities of Tokyo and Osaka. I liked the beautiful young cast, and the love story unfolded at a good pace! 😍

I thought it was great how much the female lead grew and developed in her career. Her character and thoughtfulness shone through, and I could perceive why men would fall in love with her generous, warm heart. I call it a sweet ending, although there was a sacrificial separation thrown in, but no real time was wasted dwelling on a long-distance relationship. Overall, I thought it was well done for a medical romance.

better than Playful Kiss..oops.

I've you've watched Playful Kiss, you will love this even more - I'M NOT KIDDING.

The Story is kinda similar to Playful Kiss, with the FML being crazy in love with the ML, wo acts like a man with a heart of stone.
The Episodes were never boring, the show didn't drag too much, my heart was fluttering EVERY episode.
Trust Me, this Drama has done things to me!!
Todo and Nanase's chemistry was definitely there and all of their romantic scenes, got me screaming and melting, and i had butterflies in my stomach??? i'm so glad they got their Happy Ending.
I can't really say anything bad about this drama, because honestly there wasn't anything that i didn't like..??
well...
The FL was over exaggerating sometimes, she made things really awkward but that made me like her even more.
And the ML is total Eye Candy!!
Let me add this Drama to be my second favorite of all the dramas i have ever seen.

IT'S A MUST WATCH!!!

I cannot explain how good this is from the music to the story to the chemistry. It would not be an exaggeration to say its the best J-drama i've ever watched. This has raised my expectations so high I have not watched another J-drama on this level ever again. WATCH IT YOU WON't REGRET!!

Skip this part if you do not want any spoilers.

This are a few of my favorite things about this show.
- First although it is relatively light it has a little bit of sadness (someone dies, not the MC though)

- How when the twin sister of Tendo sensei's ex came back she was not toxic about liking him

- His past with his ex girlfriend was not too dragged

- That one breakfast scene is one of the best scenes i've seen in a tv show before

Whelp

This theme of a grown woman acting like a bumbling idiot around the stoic, good-looking male lead is prevalent in Asian modern dramas and is one of the reasons I hesitate to watch them. There was nothing remotely romantic about Sakura chasing Tendo around in the workplace, especially with her curious lack of work ethic. She had the emotional maturity of a teenager and the intellect of a five-year-old. How this woman made it through nursing school is beyond me. IMO, Tendo should have filed a sexual harassment claim against her because not only did she persist in declaring her unwanted affection, but she also interfered with his work. Had it been the reverse, no one would have thought Tendo was 'cute' for incessantly harassing Sakura. The only worthwhile aspect was the ML actor who, with his disheveled hair and sharp angles, embodied the sexiness that I see in most Japanese actors.

Anyway, another reviewer (Launev) wrote much of what I thought was wrong about this series. Arigato and sayonara

Best Japanese Rom-Com in the last decade.

What can I say about this legendary drama that hasn't already been said? There's a reason why this drama was a phenomenon in Japan and overseas when it was released. It was Mone 's breakout role and catapulted Sato to international stardom. I watch a lot of Japanese dramas and this drama is really up there with the very best of them ;from the last 3 decades even. Even till this day Koitsudu still top most popular/beloved of most lists least in Japan. The OST obsessed, I still listen to it till this day. The script is not new. This has been done so many times but the huge success of this drama is mostly because of Mone and Takeru electric, amazing chemistry imo. I don't rewatch dramas often but this is 1 of the few I rewatch the most. It's such a beautiful slow burn falling in love story. Amazing cast, cinematography, music...this is 1 of the rare instances where everything came together to create MAGIC ✨
