HOW CAN SOMEONE CAME UP WITH THIS STORY IDEA?
I always pay attention to details when it comes to movies and series. This kdrama really got me thinking "what a genius storyline". This kdrama combined fantasy, action, mystery, and romance in a really intriguing way. A few perhaps find it confusing (a friend told me this), but I believe it's just because they can't focus and keep getting distracted while watching lmao. Yes you should focus while watching this. Not a light drama definitely, but worth every second. Can't stop watching it after every episode. Trust me, you should give it a try.Was this review helpful to you?

Magical Masterpiece
Unconventional romance that takes you by storm. Fascinating world building and unique characters. They should have ended this franchise on episode 19. The actors worked incredibly hard and it pays off. You never know what is going to happen next and find yourself rooting for Mudeok. The alchemist
This series is made by an alchemist master it has everything and more, fantasy✔️, drama✔️, Action✔️, comedy✔️, romance✔️, Anything else you might have thought of it is here.And with a perfect acting cast where every single one is doing his bit form the main actor to that random jewellery shop owner on the corner.
Also a well done ending for the first session that suits the story build.
I had nothing to say but perfection 👌🏽.

É meu dorama favorito de toda vida, eu amo como tudo acontece no seu tempo, amo como o Uk conseguiu atingir os objetivos dele e superar os obstáculos com a unica pessoa que ele confiava pra poder ajudá-lo a forma como eles se apaixonaram pra mim foi tudo tão leve!! A Beautiful Escape Full of Magic, Loyalty & Heart
I’ve rewatched Alchemy of Souls: Season One multiple times now — and it still gives me chills. From the very first episode, I was hooked. The storyline is action-packed, exciting, and full of twists, but what truly sets it apart is the heart behind it all.The chemistry between the entire cast is phenomenal — especially the main leads, who brought a mix of tension, playfulness, and deep emotion to every scene. You could really feel their bond evolve, and it made their journey so immersive and believable.
But it wasn’t just about romance. I loved how the friendship between the main group was portrayed — honest, loyal, and supportive. In a world where envy and betrayal are so common, it was refreshing (and healing) to see characters who genuinely wanted the best for one another. No backstabbing, no jealousy — just real friendship in a fantasy setting.
And maybe that’s what made this drama so special to me. It gave me a chance to escape from the harshness of the real world. A fantasy shouldn’t be too realistic — it should feel like stepping into a different universe where love, loyalty, and magic can still exist. Alchemy of Souls did exactly that.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants a drama that goes beyond action and romance — this one touches the soul.

Must watch
Great drama with on going suspense in every episode . If you’re fan of those majestic and creative fiction stories , this is the best choice .The world that this show created is magnificent, you’ll feel yourself living a new experience with deferent characters not just the main one . Actually that what I loved the most , the fact that we were introduced to different characters and their stories in one show , it is amazing .
I originally watched the show because of the cast , too many great actors in one fame , and it worked .
Lee Jae-wook was the best choice ever for the main lead , he pulled that role amazingly , delivered every emotion and let us be his fans .
Jung so-min was soooo good , she’s is fantastic .
Globally , this show contains every thing , drama , action , romance and even comedy

Cast was amazing and all did a great job. The chem between the leads was great and the other actors were just as good. I also really liked the side actors like Hwan Min Hyun, who did a great job. Overall the show was good, but near the end, i was lowkey starting to feel like it was a chore to finish, but either way the plot was great and so was the story.Was this review helpful to you?

Pleasantly surprised
I usually dont watch historical dramas even Mr.Queen was quite boring for me but this one was too good and it was all i was thinking about for a week while watching it. Honestly every character had such an important role at some point and every person was good and bad just at some point.Jank uk and Mu deok banter and chaos, the trio friendship and Park jin and mainservant kim relation was soo perfect i was rooting for them too
Only if they had better ost it would have made it much much better
Other than i would 100% recommend it forever and gonna rewatch it
I just wish i could watch it for the first time already😭😭

I really enjoyed this show after long time watching animes and k dramas , to say how much this show hooked me i felt sad to finish this show , I didn't want to finish this because I might feel empty after. The best show in a while , definitely worth to watch it. Graphics are really good didn't expect to be this good , story is great blend with action romance for perfect amount , humor and jokes are on point, I learned a lot about life from this serious , just watch you won't regret it , I'm emotionally over whelmed.Was this review helpful to you?
