You know I hv been wondering if Dongfang Qincang falls in love, what would happen to his most important power, Hellfire? It was mentioned before that power would become unstable if he did. This time Orchid/XiaoLanHua tried to help him with his emotions thing so let's see. Hmm.. I guess it was something that his father needed to do even though he didn't wish for it?. DFQC will be so mad if he finds out what XLH had been up to. Jieli also followed her? Well she did said, if xlh and shangque died, she wld too. Hmm... Will this works?

I cried so much in this ep. So much pain, so much complexity. Everything was done for a reason, all the pain and suffering his father put him through to destroy his heart and ability to feel.Its amazing, what Orchid is willing to do to save his heart and sanity...and soul. To not let him kill his own brother as well. THIS IS THE BEST C-DRAMA I HAVE SEEN SO FAR!!

Hats off to the writers for making Dongfang Qing Cang's back story so emotional and amazing! It's so good. My emotions are being put through the ringing! Every time I think it can't jerk at my heartstrings a new string is plucked. What's more is how Orchid has complete faith that there is more to it than what people are saying about Dongfang Qing Cang.
Oh, My poor, sweet, Dongfang Qing Cang. To see what happens to the maid. Then watching him subject himself to having his Love Root killed again after him trying to set fire to it with his Hell Fire didn't work. I mean. His Love Root is fully revived and watching him face the anguish of feeling is so painful. Yet he didn't notice he was using Hell Fire to try and kill the Root. (Or am I just confused by what the Hell Fire looks like.) It's unclear of fear of losing his power or feeling those emotions drives him to go through that terrible torture again. Or something else all together.
Orchid's belief that there was more is truly amazing. Searching for clues and finally figuring out how to get the answers. Orchid is going to have to face that she truly feels for Dongfang Qing Cang. That ending!!!!!!

This episode is the first time Dongfang Qingcang actually realizes that his emotions are coming back and that Xiaolanhua's gestures and companionship are affecting him. We get to see how DFQC lost his emotion and how he regains it back. This is also the time when DFQC's familial relationships are mended and he realizes that gaining his emotions might mean losing his power.

We slowly know the backstory. And after so many people in Canglan Sea that should care more for their Yuezun, it is Xiao Lan Hua who despite all the consequences, feels something wrong and want to dig into the real story. This episode really brings us forward not only the story but also the character development. Behind all ruthless and mean Dong Fang Qing Cang, there is the backstory of it. It is not what he wants to be that cruel without compassion but all emotion just stripped painfully from him. When Dong Fang Qing Cang cannot accept that his love tree starts to bloom, he tries to strip emotion from himself once more. In this scene, CGI really shows how painful is that I almost cannot bear to see it. Maybe that is only for him to have the heart to execute his brother (the only blood family he has left). But thanks to our unwavering Xiao Lan Hua, we will get closure in the next episode. Whatever Dong Fang Qing Cang wants to bury his past, thank God there is sunny Xiao Lan Hua by his side who can see the real him and teach him those emotions, teach him to love.
