Sweet like sugar
I would say that this drama is like the embodiment of youth. It's so bright and heartwarming, really makes you want to go back to high school. It's fun, romantic and just chill, you mostly get to see the daily lives of four students. I think that their school days are what I always wanted and thought high school would be like (it's not), so it makes the audience really happy. Overall it's pretty light and there aren't any big obstacles, but I still think there are some important messages in this drama that will stay in your heart. This is probably the most heart-fluttering drama I've ever seen, just because it's so fresh and they're so young and naive. I also loved the cute qoutes they put at the end of every episode.If you think this drama sounds interesting, definitely give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it a lot too! <3

SO GOOD
WHAT THE EFFF… JUST FINISHED THIS. omg this drama is such a light hearted (FR LIGHTHEARTED. LIKE NO NAD PARTS) and sooooo sooo freaking sweet. lurang and guran MANN THEYRE SO CUTE. UGH I NEED ONE OF THEM IN MY LIFE. SO FREAKING SWEET. theyre both such green flags i’m actually sobbing. also this dramas like FILMING quality was SOO good like. literally straight out of my pinterest board. OH MAN I WISH I COULD HAVE A RELATIONSJIP LIKE RANGRANG AND ZAIZAI. UGHHH SUCH A FEEL GOOD DRAMA. ONE OF MY FAVS. screamed. squealed. THE WAY THE BOYS LOOK AT THIER GIRLS… LIKE WTFFFF. And the male lead, oof, I've been obsessed with Zhou Yiran since FIYS for absolutely no reason. His acting skills are amazing and his character here is so cool and serious that is heart-melting when he starts falling for Su Zaizai. I'm looking forward to his next work.
The storytelling in this drama is great, the writers were able to capture their growth through time very subtly, it's just like watching them grow and mature in front of our eyes, especially romantically.
The second leads have some amazing stories. Normally, I find it very hard to get involved in SLs stories, but not in this drama. The writers didn't only give them a relationship out of nowhere just to say they did it (something like this happened in Exclusive Fairytale, Miao Yi's new drama), all of the supporting characters have depth and we get to know them well.
Honestly, Friends to Lovers isn't my trope, but this C-drama flew fast to my top 3 favorites of all time.

The fairytale of fairytales...
*minor spoilers*I really wanted to give this drama an 8 but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that this drama had noticeable flaws and maybe that's because the Reply (kdrama) series that it resembles, did so well.
The biggest detriment for me was that this presented as the fairytale of all fairytales and for me being older, wiser and more jaded, know that these situations aren't always going to come up smelling roses. There are inevitable struggles in life, unexpected hurdles that everyone has to face and in this, there weren't any big challenges. Everything just happened, quite quickly. Time changes didn't do anything except give secondary characters less screentime. I wished they did more with them because it became apparent that no one else had a story other than the main leads.
And I compare it to the Reply series because they tackled the issues of growing up head on, they didn't sugarcoat anything. Reality set in and in WIFTY, it never happpened, the fairytale just continued. It never came back down.
But if you want a nice, easy to follow, no worries drama to watch. This is perfect. But if you want something more realistic and a bit funnier, the Reply series is the way to go.

I'm in love with these series and I haven't even finished it 😭. I love it bcs it's cute, and it doesn't have the love triangle, too much drama, insane obsession with the main lead(s);It's not all abt that, just pure snuffy cuteness!! Cdrama's (some of them) never disappoint bcs they are just simple, cute, love, care, ect.So if you are a fan of the crazy plot twist complicated puzzles with love triangles, then this might not be for you :)
But if you love cuteness and just simple plots that'll give you butterflies anyhow, this is perfect!!

A relentless pursuit that only works out in dramas...
I don't typically gravitate towards school dramas but this one is highly recommended and I absolutely loved Zhang Maioyi in TFF.The drama is very light and sweet. No useless scenes or characters. Fast paced. This is basically a short, easy-watch for anyone who's looking for a coming of age romance with a happy ending. There's not much conflict in the show at all and anything unpleasant that does come up is resolved fairly quickly. Rangrang is cute and noble, but I'm typically not a fan of the dull, quiet leads. I can't really tell if it's good acting because it just seems easy to deliver a dry performance. But I can see what Zaizai sees - handsome face, velvety voice, silent do-gooder. The one thing that bothered me with the story was on the bus when she calls out the pervert and no one believes her or the victim until Rangrang speaks up. I took it as basically a woman's word is worthless until a man speaks up? Maybe I'm overthinking it but no one supported her until he said something...
What I do like is how much he has her back. On the bus first and then backing her up when she was accused of stealing. Finally, when Rangrang, Gu Ran and Guan Fang all showed up to have the girls backs on the basketball court, it was very charming! They were like 3 white knights coming to the rescue. I also like that the scene wasn't overplayed or overacted with them trying to act too macho or aggressive.
Zaizai is easily my favorite character. Only she can make Rangrang smile his biggest dimpliest smile. She is the definition of a ray of sunshine but she is so much more than just a cute sunny presence. She is clever, generous and optimistic. Yet, even though she is sweet, she isn't a doormat either. She is confident in herself in a lot of ways and when she's accused of stealing she doesn't cower or cry but fights for herself. Love that.
The 2CP is hilarious. They are just as interesting and entertaining as the main CP and they are a perfect match. They're both mischievous and have the same unserious, manic energy. And in addition to being the fun ones in the group, they are also fiercely loyal to their friends and family. My only complaint about this CP is how oblivious Jiang Jia can be at times to his affections. But at least, once she learns it was Gu Ran who gave her the watch, she realizes that she's liked him all along and immediately lets go of her old crush.
And finally Guan Fang somehow fits into the chaos perfectly as well. This friend group quickly became one of my favorites. They're not just funny to watch together but they stick together and help each other without question. In my opinion the best chemistry in the show is between these 5. And I love how they all stay so close into adulthood.
Music and cinematography are decent as well. There's nothing grand going on in terms of the setting but I think the plain background gives the story the homey feeling they were aiming for. This one is a definite rewatch for me when I need a filler drama or just want to put something on that I don't need to fully engage with.

Uma obra de arte muito doce e confortável!
Gente, Quando Vou em Sua Direção é simplesmente perfeito! Eu conheci esse dorama esse ano, e já virou o meu conforto absoluto. Ele é aquele tipo de história que te faz sentir bem, que te abraça, que te deixa com um sorriso no rosto do início ao fim. É um dorama sobre amizade, insegurança, medo do futuro… e tudo isso com aquele toque nostálgico da adolescência, do primeiro amor, das descobertas da vida. É impossível não sentir aquela saudade gostosa assistindo!Cada episódio é um presente. Acompanhar o casal principal e o desenvolvimento da amizade deles é muito especial. Nossa, como é lindo ver o jeito que ela nunca desistiu dele! Ela sabia da dificuldade que ele tinha para se expressar, mas continuou sendo ela mesma, sem mudar nada, sem se forçar a ser outra pessoa. E ele… ele simplesmente se apaixonou por ela exatamente do jeito que ela era. Isso é tão bonito!
E não é só romance, não. Tem muitas lições ao longo da história. Tem uma cena que fala sobre comparação, e nossa… que tapa na cara, que coisa linda de se ver! É aquele tipo de dorama que toca o coração de verdade.
Agora, sobre pontos negativos? Nenhum! Zero defeitos! Quando Vou em Sua Direção é perfeito em tudo. Eu assisti cada episódio com o coração quentinho e chorei muito nas declarações. É o tipo de história que te faz bem, que te deixa feliz. Eu amo demais, amo demais!

harus banget di coba!
awalnya maju mundur mau nonton karena baru aja selesai hidden love. ternyata waktu diterusin, lucu juga.cerita nya ringan, gak banyak konflik. hubungan ML & FL juga bagus. gak perlu muter2 karena salah paham blablabla. waktu ada masalah, mereka langsung ngomongin. dan itu emang penting dalam hubungan.
ost opening nya bagus! biasa sering ku lompati karena tmi bgt kan ya... udah kayak rangkuman drama itu sendiri. tp op drama ini terlalu enak buat di skip.
durasi episode singkat.
nah, ini kelebihan tp juga kekurangannya. lebih, karena gak perlu bertele-tele ceritanya. tapi kurang, karena 1 episode cuma sekitar 30 menitan...hiks.
kesimpulan, coba dulu tonton 3 episode. kalau belum juga cocok, ini emang bukan drama seleramu.

Simplesmente doce!
Eu amei esse cdrama! Sério, quando eu percebi que estava me apaixonando pela história da mesma maneira que Hidden Love eu desacelerei nos episódios para não cometer o mesmo erro, de assistir tudo de uma vez e depois ficar com uma ressaca dele pelo resto dos tempos.Também assim como Hidden Love, que eu me pego pensando na história e desejando ver novamente, eu sei que me sentirei assim com When I Fly Towards You. O desenrolar da história, o início do afeto, amizade, vida adulta, tudo é bem abordado, sejam nos momentos de alegria quanto nos de tristeza, quando ela é assediada pelo cliente. Os cinco personagens são realmente mágicos e nos fazem torcer para que sempre se reencontrem e construam novas memórias.
Por mais que Rang Rang tenha dificuldade em se expressar e ser claro em seus sentimentos, ele demonstra todo o seu amor e dedicação com ações, muitas vezes discretas, mas bonitas. Adorei que a personagem da Zai Zai seja uma menina determinada desde o início e não aquela típica protagonista vítima de algo.
Sem dúvidas voarei de volta para este cdrama em minhas memórias.

Una delicia de serie sobre el primer amor y la vida adolescente que te llena de calidez y de sonrisas! Me ha enganchado muchísimo con sus historias tiernas, sus personajes y sus historias de amor. Nada le sobra, no hay casi ningún momento oscuro ni de sufrimiento! No hay malentendidos duraderos, ni grandes problemas, ni triángulos amorosos, solo una historia de adolescentes que encuentran su camino en el mundo. Y te engancha muchísimo sobre todo por las situaciones divertidas, la bondad de sus protagonistas, por el vínculo de amistad del grupo de compañeros, por su naturalidad! Me ha gustado mucho más que Hidden love que aún no he podido acabar, allí vi algunas cosas forzadas, que no me cuadraron, como si nos quisieran vender el romance con algunos aspectos artificiosos, aquí todo fluye de manera maravillosa. Para seguir con las comparaciones, podríamos decir que es como un "A love so beautiful" sin sus defectos!! Muy parecida a "Forever love" y "Our secret" en planteamientos y actuaciones. Nose ni por donde empezar la verdad, simplemente un un drama que te deja con esa sensación de felicidad, el a ver visto a todos los personajes crecer y madurar durante todo el drama es gratificante, las relaciones tan sanas y bonitas, el valor de la amistad que nos muestra, definitivamente se necesitan más historias así, rang rang y zaizai se complementan tan bien el uno con el otro se convirtieron en una de mis parejas favoritas, la química de los actores es muy hermosa y no solo entre ellos también con los demás actores del grupo de amigos, la ambientación, la musica, esque yo podría seguir diciendo muchísimas cosas positivas y no terminaría hoy, definitivamente un drama que no me cansaré de recomendar porque todo el mundo debe verlo✨💙Was this review helpful to you?

zyr and zmy are mc characters. they are very adorable. I'm impressed!. and the supporting cast is great too. drama when i fly towards you is my recommended drama in 2023!.because this drama made me know more about what true love means in the hustle and bustle of the world of work.Enjoy watching this drama.
