I'm sure you are going to like this drama . All characters in this drama has done a great work making it realistic and taking back you to your youth days . After watching this drama I wish I would be a lucky as suzai who has a great supporting friends and partner who are always with her . This drama also gives us lesson how to make healthy relationship without getting affected by toxic people . How to trust and support each other in hard times . Eu nunca pensei que chegaria o dia em que um drama superaria Wait My Youth em meu coração, mas When I Fly Towards You chegou de voadora!!! Perfeito, leve, com um squad de amigos encantadores, um casal maduro, companheiro, e seguro!Apesar do período deles na faculdade e na vida adulta ter sido rápido, não foi algo que deu a sensação de história corrida. Tudo aconteceu de forma suave, e emocionante, deixando o coração quentinho a cada interação.
Pra quem gosta de dramas fofos, com casal que se apoia mutuamente, se entende, e percebe os minimos detalhes pra fazerem um ao outro felizes, eu super recomendo!!!

No plot, no conflict, just adorable characters and pure fluff
It's hard for me to rate this drama because it's pure fluff without plot. Literally nothing happens. There's no conflict and no problem that can't be solved in 20 minutes. The opening credits give away the entire story. This is the kind of show where the female lead lives in a crowded dorm room and yet somehow has a different brand new coat to wear every day. But the drama hooked me anyway because it's absolutely adorable and it gave me 12 hours of escape from the cold cruel world which I really needed.The main couple is the living embodiment of the sunshine/sunshine protector meme. Su Zaizai falls in love at first sight with Zhang Lu Rang and showers him with warm positivity through the whole show (she also looks like a living doll). Rang Rang starts out expressionless and monosyllabic because of the pressure he gets from his mother to be a school topper, but as he spends more and more time with Zaizai he gradually thaws out and one of the best parts of the show is watching him blossom into a warmer and happier person. He also has two dimples which makes it even better when he flashes one of his rare smiles.
The rest of the characters in the friendship group are very cute but underdeveloped. I would have liked to have spent more time on the second lead romance.

IF YOU ARE WATCHING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME, I AM JEALOUS OF YOU.
The first time i watched this show, I didn't expect anything, i was watching hidden love at that time because well everyone was watching it, then i also started watching this show and i loved it so much that i have probably re-watched it hundreds of times.I find myself opening this show on Netflix whenever i am under the weather or sad. it is just that comforting.
i listen to the music a lot, especially the goodnight HEYT, we by sour moon (listen to this one on headphones when its raining, awesome!) and summer night open air movie. love these songs so much.
i love the main couple, its not because there isn't any drama, it is one of the reasons but the main reason is that they show us that self love is very important, if i cant love myself, giving someone else love is also not possible. we often get into relationships wanting to be loved, but this show taught me that its more about giving love and care to the one you love.

Lovely drama, worth watching over and over again.
When I fly towards you, wow Su Zaizai didn't fly but sticks to Zhang Lurang so much I love it. The story is quite simple yet it's not boring. First scene in the store during the rain literally made me like Zaizai, hooked by Lurang in this case the drama. I've never imagined enjoying a youth romance this hard, it's so cute. The main couple is so good, no big arguments, small misunderstandings but they handled it well. I envy them.How about the other characters? I love them. The second couple makes this realistic for me. Jiajia and Guran made it enjoyable, they complement each other, it just sucks that they don't have longer scenes or their story weren't explored much but still they were fun. Guan Fang is also quite funny, makes a good friend for all of them. I love his story too with her grandmother, I hope he finds himself a partner.
Cinematography? Top notch. I love the low ground, lowkey, and pretty colors of the drama. The places they choose as well is pretty and amazing. And the tone, it was never so fast never so slow. The background music is heart warming as well.
Overall, this drama is so rewatchable for me. I would gladly take watching Wifty over and over as a punishment, It feels like whenever I watch it again I found small things that really add to the watchability of it. The actors they choose is also cute. I hope to watch more of this fun, cute, lovely dramas.

Everything about this drama was wonderful: the cinematography, the actors, the plot, the storyline, the portrayal of characters, everything was so perfectly produced. It is the kind of drama one could watch any number of times without ever getting bored. Some may consider the female lead (Su zai zai) as "overexaggeration" or "cringe", but the male lead (Zhang lurang) is conservative and reserved. Considering the personality traits, they make one of the best couples, by creating balance and fulfilment in their lives. I must also particularly point out the female lead's depiction of character, where such characters are assumed to be too kind or overly cute, seeking male attention. However, that is not at all how her character is; she showcases a mature, strong mind and values self-respect and self-worth over anything, which I absolutely adored in the story. The second leads were absolutely amazing, adding a hint of humour to the story. Apart from romance, the story is THE comfort drama, having a depression episode? Watch Wifty. Going through a tough time at school? Watch Wifty. They are just teens having the time of their lives, no villains, no plot twists, no sadness, nothing, just pure love and friendship. Watching this gives you a feeling of warmth, like a big hug. I fully recommend this drama, especially if u feel your life is boring or empty. It teaches you to appreciate everything in life, be content with what you have and cherish it with all your heart. most comforting and nostalgic drama that beautifully captures the essence of youth
this is genuinely one of the best coming of age shows i've ever watched and can always bring me to tears just thinking about these characters and their beautiful friendships and journey through life together. the cinematography complements this mood so well and will be rewatching. very nostalgic if you know what i mean and i aspire to have this kind of friendship and relationship. love how they explored all of the main characters' storylines and romances (not guan fang tho lol hes single for life haha) and i felt connected with them in every way possible. im shocked they managed to pack so much in in 24 episodes without making it feel too rushed. their relationship development and character growths were done so well and had me kicking my feet and giggling countless times as well as taking a lap around the room in second hand embarrassment. such a heartwarming show i can always turn towards, highly recommend!!Was this review helpful to you?
Feel good story!
MY FAVOURITE DRAMA! This was the drama that got me into asian dramas and when I tell you this is the best one, It really is. The drama follows the main girl su zaza. As the drama goes on her friend group and the boy she likes friend group slowly intertine. From teenage years into early adult you see the story grow, it's quite a feel good drama with only a few villains and their not that bad. A fun, wholesome and beautiful drama
If you are looking for something wholesome and laid back to watch then this is THE drama for you.It's very rare for me to fall in love with a drama this much....the story, the characters, the setting, the music - literally everything is perfect.....you might think I'm exaggerating a bit and maybe I am but this sure deserves it.....
While I fly towards you might not have the fast paced plot or the twists and turns or the thrill that all the other dramas have but it sure will stay with you forever.......this is the kind of story I can see myself watching over and over and never getting bored of.
The drama is soooo well written, well portrayed, well executed, it's hard to find a single flaw.
While I fly towards is a slow burn romance and I seriously just could NOT stop smiling at all those cute scenes between the leads and literally every other scene....
Along with the eye pleasing romance, the friendships are something to talk of..... the friendship between the characters is soooo strong and it's just soo heartwarming to watch them together..... also the relationship every character has with their families or teachers is just soo beautiful.....
It just feels like the whole drama is soo thought about and very well revised that there is literally nothing wrong with it...
I could go on and on praising this beautifully wholesome drama which hits you in all the right places but I'll just end it here saying that you guys need to watch this. ASAP.
EDIT: Even though I absolutely loved this drama, after completing it.... I have come to realize that this is a very idealistic plot and honestly very plain and simple....One could say that these are the charms of this drama......something to be watched in order to destress and smile....

What u must know before starting the drama!
My opening statement - A MUST watch, worth it, sweet, slow burn romance and amazing friendship!See, other reviews have already covered why this drama is worth watching and told you about the praises. While reading the reviews, i came across some negative points which I totally respect, everyone has a different opinion, but I feel they need a bit clarification. No point in degrading a drama unnecessarily because we are not able to find the 'why' of the things we find irritating.
1. Storyline - some view the storyline as predictable and a cliche. I believe that was actually intended! Most modern cdramas are about office romance and love stories involving many ups and downs and stuff, but very few actually portray the old, comfortable storylines of a secret crush transformed into a sweet relationship in school, then followed in college, how long distance relationship worked so well too when ML character switched schools, and a perfect ending where they get married. This is the ideal love story almost everyone wishes for irl, but ofc that isn't possible or is extremely rare. Thus, sometimes, such 'boring' storylines become a comfort zone.
2. Male Lead Character - the character has a kind of introverted nature, which is actually quite common for the top students! This is because of the family pressure, the pressure of consistent results, expectations and desperation to do well in life. Staying devoted to academics can tend to affect the nature of a person in this way. It's justified. The FL character is sweet and bubbly and can be observed because that is in her nature! That's how she grew up. She is more lifeloving and believes in 'staying in the moment' rather that focusing majorly on academics and worrying about the future. Again, it's justified.
3. Rushed ending - obviously this drama was meant to be kept short hence the 24 eps. And tbh there is no need to go into the details of the after marriage era as they have already depicted the school, college and job journeys. But knowing that they had a baby shouldn't be a problem, it's just an extension for those who crave for more but cuz of the limitations of the script, can't witness the same.
P. S. I especially love zhou yiran's and guo zhe's acting! They depicted the charcaters so well, and I really can't imagine someone else playing the ML this WELL.
