UNINTERESTING GAME THEME
I watch this drama for Yang Yang but anything about gaming theme (borrowed the term from what's in promotional preview) is always a blunder to me. We are watching their head lower playing games - what kind of acting is that? There isn't any acting skill needed if the requirement is only sitting in the couch and playing games or texting. Besides when a guy is an aerospace engineer, loads of free time in hand, still why would spend time nothing else but playing games and not to be productive as a genius AEROSPACE engineer (not a feat!) would usually do productive as an intelligence, creativity, ideas, critical thinking demands it....not making sense to me. I know I only watch it early episodes and no interest to watch it further....what romance/ career might develops between 2 MLs, - I am predicting that we all know the end of the drama without going through 32 episodes. Yang Yang and Dilraba are really gorgeous people....they are famous with unforgettably role box office drama in their belts. Dilraba's acting isn't improving....she still acts the same as any other of her dramas, it isn't hard to portray character like herself in real life 'beautiful celebrity' - it isn't a stretch skill and yet we get old same Dilli. Yang Yang is a handsome man but his acting didn't come out from his-Yang Yang-self, many other prominent actors that has grown and mature as actors but I don't see that in him. Yes, I am against the popular opinions and many has expressed it in most futile comments.Was this review helpful to you?
Not a great love story
You Are My Glory is a very slow drama and isn't really for me. There are so many scenes that are so slow and boring like when the guy works on the space projects. There's no "sad sob story" for the main characters and the storyline between them is soooo boring. There is nothing juicy, no connection between the audience and the characters, I've had to skip so many parts.The gaming part drags on the drama and is not relateable unless you play League of Legends. I wish they go into more detail about the ML's past and his previous marriage. Super overrated drama and likely won't finish!

just because Yang Yang & Dilraba Dilmurat
At first this is really a boring drama. Thanx GOD this drama is played by Yang Yang & Dilraba Dilmurat, if not maybe I'll already drop or hold this. However this drama compensates for everything in the end.This drama gets better Yu Tu realizes his feelings & gets better again after they are in a relationship. But still the aerospace things still bore me, I don't understand a thing about what they try to explain.
What I like:
+ Yu Tu (YT) & Qiao Jing Jing (JJ) both quite mischievous, they like to tease each other, even their family is no exception.
+ JJ is really down to earth as a very big artist herself. This shows us even the big artist doesn't mean always have to be all over the top.
+ JJ is a very fast thinker person. She can give a very fast response of a problem, its like just in a blink of eye she can think some response. Like she has response in the tip of her tongue. So funny to see her quick response & how YT expression of every instant response that JJ give ^_^.
+ No such thing as a love rival.
+ No other couple. They do not even try to create a second lead couple.
+ YT & JJ relationship is really one healthy relationship. With no stupid misunderstandings or conflicts that makes the relationship become complicated. Not even the money problem
+ really like how in the end the story doesn't stop at their wedding, but continues a little bit more to show us how important YT's job as aerospace scientist is.
+ how people expression when YT tells them that JJ is his GF. Especially Da Meng's expression, really funny.
+ How chill JJ with their relationship. She's really not afraid that her relationship become public consumption.
What doesn't quite makes no sense but doesn't make the story bad:
* YT so handsome but have no fan girl in his office ^_^
* all other friends keep disappearing after some time. Like Zhai Liang / "Panicky" who disappearing after he moves to Shenzhen. But that's life isn't it, not all the people we can keep in our life forever.
* No paparazzi ever hanging around their relationship. The only paparazzi ever try to get the scoop even get caught & can't publish the photo & article.
Overall I am really happy Yang & Dilraba Dilmurat in this drama together as a couple. But for the story itself I can't say this is the best. The story pace itself is actually kind of slow for only 30 min drama and 32 ep. Re-watch...? No, I don't think I'm gonna re-watch this. Next I hope I can see Yang-yang with Zhao Li Ying, Yang Mi or Yang Zi ^_^

This drama has definitely become my 2nd favorite and the best Chinese drama, in my opinion. The quality of the drama is excellent, the acting is great. But in fact, this drama is without glass and intrigue, which is actually especially surprising, because we are used to crying and getting mad because of the characters or the plot. But at the same time, despite the fact that there is no intrigue at all and precisely because of this, it looks easy and soulful. There are a lot of cute moments, a couple of funny and soulful ones. Personally, I had a feeling of butterflies in my stomach throughout all the episodes (except ~ 15-19). And the way YanYan hinted at "trulyala" is just a masterpiece, I even felt awkward myself, but so cute. You know? When I recently watched a drama where there is a lot of glass and constant worries about the characters, this drama is just to calm my soul and just sincerely rejoice and be touched, enjoy the fact that everything is wonderful. In fact, although there is no glass and intrigue, the characters' relationships are shown more realistically and believably, possible problems are related only to everyday life. It was very nice to watch the development of relationships and, in the end, normal, healthy, strong relationships. And naturally: support of a loved one, no matter what; striving for your goals, perseverance, hard work and achieving success, this drama is just an example of how to act so that everything works out successfully, both in your personal life and in your career. Love Among the Stars
When a video’s leaked with proof of an actress’s { Dilraba } gaming ineptitude, it threatens her contract with the developer. When she recognizes the proficient gamer she’s playing with as her first love { Yang Yang }, she asks him to help her hone her skills (without revealing her identity!) so she can redeem herself. Thus their story begins…I enjoy that the FL stays kind & innocent throughout. She’s strong & stands up for herself while remaining humble. She never uses her fame as an excuse to be rude or act as if she’s better than anyone. She’s a very cheerful & honest person who has worked very hard for her accomplishments & doesn’t take the people around her for granted. She does have a few moments where I’m like, “girl, whyyy?” but overall I really enjoyed her.
I love watching the ML fall for her. He starts as a closed off person who isn’t mean, but rather burdened. He’s got the worry for his parents’ finances & health weighing him down, causing him to give up his career as an aerospace engineer for a more stable desk job. But the FL’s constant encouragement & unending belief in him give him the courage to once again chase his dream. Her sunny personality & quirky charms help brighten the darkness he’s been living in, giving him hope for a better future.
I enjoy the way he goes about pursuing her after he pushed her away & proving his feelings are genuine. He knows he messed up by letting her go, he realizes just how much he needs her in his life, & he sets out to win her back. And I appreciate that she isn’t cruel in her hesitation to accept him & that their separation doesn’t last long. It shows how serious they both take their relationship. Some shows drag this situation out too long to add more tension & drama, but I personally hate that. If you both love one another & want to be together, why would you be dumb & hold onto your pride when you could just apologize/forgive & hold onto each other instead?
Their chemistry is 🔥! They love to flirt & their banter is so cute. Their devotion to each other is 🫠. I love how they support each others goals & never let the difficulties of life come between them. It’s very nice that we get to witness the progression of their story too with the time jump. Getting to actually see them functioning as a married couple & how that works with both of their demanding careers is really well done, imo. Life doesn’t end after the “HEA” scene - that’s when a whole new life begins! They’re total married couple goals too. Just as flirty & affectionate as when they were dating. Lovely hugs & kisses. Their story is a joy to watch!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL & ROMANTIC DRAMA
This is the most beautiful and romantic drama I have watched so far, in my decades of dramas(including different countries) watching. I have watched it more than 5x & am still watching. The story is beautiful & both leads are beautiful & perfect too. I’m in love. Definitely recommended!!! Still cannot move on hahahaha….The story is beautiful executed and perfect chemistry between both leads. All other actors also play their roles well.
And this is also the drama that has the most kissing & pecking scenes I have watched. The sweetness is explosive!!! I love the support & encouragement the YT & JJ has for each other, especially JJ towards YT. JJ is also a very courageous girl that I admire, not afraid of failures and fight to achieve what she wants. Bravo!!!

A realistic, heartwarming portrayal of romance
It took me several attempts to get started on this drama as I’m not a fan of the romance genre, but I’m ended up pleasantly surprised and impressed by this drama!The drama feels like chicken soup for the soul to me. The portrayal of romance is slow, steady, but warm, not at all riddled with complex misunderstandings or issues that oftentimes feel frustrating to watch.
I started this as a recommendation from a friend as I am a new Yang Yang fan, and I can say Yu Tu’s silent struggles with his career resonated with me. As someone in research, I felt incredibly inspired by Yu Tu’s passion and cried for him, with him, in this drama.
Dilrabat, too, in my humble opinion, did a stellar performance portraying Qiao Jing Jing’s emotions, especially in the initial stages of crushing hard. I found myself kicking my feet together with her in my bed as her interaction with Yu Tu increased with time, and their relationship blooms like a plum blossoms fluttering in winter.
Their relationship was beautiful, slow-paced but warm, soothing to the soul, respectful and gentle. I’m not even a gamer (though I’m relatively acquainted with gaming terminology), yet I found myself watching every moment without skipping, vouching for them, wishing for their successes and feeling touched to see Yu Tu and Qiao Jing Jing grow together to achieve their goals.
This is the drama I came back to after a long (frustrating) day at work to relax to, and I’m super glad I have another drama in my arsenal to rewatch during hard days.

I REGRET NOT WATCHING THIS SOONER
I regret dropping this last year, I was able to finish this today as I was in a Yang Yang drama craze after watching Fireworks of my Heart and it’s safe to say I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS DRAMA. They had one of the most natural skinship and sweet moments, almost felt real at times. For most cdramas there will still be a hint of awkwardness when it comes to sweet scenes but Yang Yang and Dilraba made it look so natural. No fuss, just doing what they do best. This is definitely a drama worth for an annual rewatch. Just in for the fluff but finished this feeling empty because of the two leadsWas this review helpful to you?

Great drama!
I liked this drama so much. It was very enjoying, I laughed, I cried etc.The story was nice, the acting, the music and everything I liked it very much. I hope they will come more with this kind of dramas in the future. I see a lot of dramas coming but mature ones liked this one I really miss.
Yang Yang and Dilraba have also very good chemistry.
It is a mustwatch!

A solid drama and performance
A solid 10 out of 10 !just recently watched it, the thing i regretted the most was watching it so late. this drama so good, the plot, the characters arc, the ost, the cinematography are very well executed. Both Yangyang and dilraba really potrayed the character well, the animated game scene is great as well. No unnecessary lengthy plot, no lengthy misunderstanding. I enjoyed the drama and never skip a scene.

✨️ 2025 and still going strong
I watched this drama two years ago and I still think it's one of my favourites. The female lead is a walking green flag and deserves all the love and respect in the world.So, this is my appreciation review for Qiao Jing Jing.
There's this mindset where the FL has to "not be like the other girls" and that's why the ML falls for them — and while I'm not hating on this troop because quite frankly, they're my favourite ones, it is also overdone.
But Jing Jing is literally one of those "other" girls and it doesn't take anything from her. It doesn't take away her kindness or her emotional intelligence or just how freaking awesome she is. It doesn't stop her from finding love with Yu Tu. She can be supportive and not booksmart, and she can have a walk-in closet with too many clothes and not do well in school — and gasp! A man still loves her!
It's that idea that sold me to this drama. The way the writers were willing to make Yu Tu realise his mistakes and that Jing Jing's only mistake was falling for a arrogant teenager and still managing to fall more in love with him after they meet (I say this lovingly).
This is just such a mature drama and I love it so much.
Yu Tu has his own personal growth with his job and family, but his growth with Jing Jing was simply wonderful. He didn't develop feelings overnight. He got to know her, saw her schemes and found amusment in them. He saw the person she was as his classmate, and then the person she became after.
This drama has a beautiful love story and ya'll should watch it or at least give it a try. Though -sigh- Dilraba's makeup is awful and I don't understand why they wanted to white wash her so much 😕
