This drama revolves around an urban love story. The female lead, Jingjing, and the male lead, Yu Tu, are both in adulthood with stable careers while navigating the challenges of work, relationships, and everyday life. Their unexpected reunion becomes the heart of the story, allowing viewers to see how both of them have grown from high school students into the adults they are today.What I love most about this drama is how mature both Jingjing and Yu Tu are. They communicate thoughtfully, try to understand each other's perspectives, and take both their careers and relationships seriously. The drama also does an excellent job of contrasting their lives. Jingjing has grown into the successful person she always dreamed of becoming, earning the admiration and even envy of many of her former classmates. Yu Tu, on the other hand, excels in his career and has achieved what many would consider a prestigious job. Yet despite his professional success, he gradually realizes that he's lost sight of himself and begins questioning what he truly wants in life.
The contrast between Jingjing and Yu Tu, their long-awaited reunion, the emotional turbulence they experience, the lingering "what ifs," and their constant struggle to figure out the "right" path in life all come together to create a heartfelt and engaging journey.
Although there are moments that will absolutely break your heart (ofc I cried), the drama develops both characters beautifully, allowing viewers to genuinely understand their different perspectives and the choices they make. I especially love that the male lead doesn't rush into a relationship. Instead, he takes the time to understand himself, figure out what he truly wants, learn to love himself, and find the courage to stand by his own choices.
I've always loved the female lead! Jingjing is like a refreshing ice cream on a hot summer day and a comforting hot pot that you constantly crave during winter. She's bubbly, radiant, excellent at her job, adorable yet mature, and completely comfortable with who she is. She's the kind of person who loves herself first and then shares that positivity with everyone around her. I've always said I'd love to have a friend like her in real life.
The male lead is also the kind of character who proves why Yu Tu is so admired. He's intelligent, calm, thoughtful, mature, capable, and incredibly kind. Sadly, even though he seems "perfect" in everyone else's eyes, he sees himself as a failure because his career and sense of responsibility don't align with society's definition of a "successful life." I won't spoil too much, but this inner conflict is one of the strongest parts of his character.
If I had to describe their relationship in one phrase, it would be: “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.”
Overall, this drama is easy to watch, relaxing, and heartwarming. It's an ideal urban modern slow-burn romance. I personally put this as one of my favorite (at least top 3) modern romance C-Dramas I’ve ever watched! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

the scene about learning games is very boring and doesn't need to be that long
this Yang Yang and Dilraba, two Chinese actors that I likeThe beginning of this drama is interesting, the acting of the two here also shows appropriate emotions. I like FL's acting here, it's funny. The chemistry between the two main characters can also be seen.
but the next plot when we enter the scene about learning in games, I have to say that it's boring and too long! waste of time and very uninteresting.
Why did the production team push so hard to make a game learning scene that long? I know they are drama sponsors, but this is too much time waster and not worth seeing.
I had to jump to the episode where the game tournament episode was finally shown, then did a lot of skipping because there were a lot of less important drama scenes
in the middle of the drama I started to feel that the main character's acting became less interesting, I thought like the emotions of the two of them didn't reach me
I like the ending of the story but not the moment where ML comes out of his office after the rocket launch, I'm confused why there will almost be conflict and misunderstanding there, luckily it doesn't
the drama is good, but it doesn't say much more than that.

many dislike because of ,ml career or not depth to the characters, first of all 90% cdrama don't show a proper slow burn romance? or chemistry? i drop many just because of this ? this one they don't show how much FML liked him in past, but it's slow burn ,they have romantic interaction before and after relationship, they have healthy relationship,love isn't forced random or fast ? atleast they show how romance actually should be , ml career scenes were unnecessary and too long you have to skip it, most high rated cdrama don't even have a proper romance or how it should be , many cdrama has good background plot but focus is always other things? other unnecessary things in cdrama are villians, side characters,2nd couples,drama etc you need drma like this when you watch too many like the one I mentioned above where romance is non-existentWas this review helpful to you?

One of the best!
This is how a good drama should be! Good writing, direction, incredible good OST, top notch actors!Finally a real mature drama with healthy relationships (friends, co-workers, partners, family, etc), high quality scripts, funny, flirtatious and intelligent. It blown my mind the level of the emotional intelligence they shown. An most important thing, without unnecessary drama! I feel bad for myself to not have the capability to confront my problems with that attitude and to not have that type of friends and family around. I know, I know, it's just a drama. but what a drama!
I cried my eyes out and laughed till my cheeks hurt. Had a stupid-smile in my face for the last episodes. For me there wasn't any flaws moments. They gave a post-marriage footage that felt real and mature, with a healthy comunication skills.
Yes, there are a lot of MOBA-talk and NASA-talk but i loved it! if you are not into it I understand maybe you can feel bored and skip parts, but it was so fascinating how explained so well that you find yourself immersed in that topic and understand better their choices.

Fun romance drama who's biggest villain is work-life imbalance!
This show is proof that you can have an entertaining romance drama without any stupid love-triangles. Wthout any contrived, dragged-out misunderstandings. Without anyone being killed, kidnapped, blackmailed or raped or really any criminal activity whatsoever. And without any stupid pointless scheming. Other than a brief stretch early on when the writers made the ML become really stupid just so they could contrive an early 'break up' and not settle them in as a couple too early, once that stupidity was over, this was just a nice pair of adults having a growing, positive adult relationship. And it wasn't boring. Yang Yang was overall pretty solid as the ML. Yes he is eye-candy, but he did a good job of playing a character who was super smart and capable when it came to math, science and factual matters ... but a deeply limited, severely under-developed person emotionally. His character has to undergo the most growth in order for the relationship to work because, well, he's kind of a socio-emotional idiot for the first 15+ episodes. Meanwhile, Dilraba Dilmurat is just fantastic as the quirky, clever and incredibly emotionally sensible JingJing who is the true rock of the relationship. Yes, she knows she is never going to be his intellectual equal in matters math, science and technology. But she shows again and again that she is the wise one between the two in matters of emotion and the heart. And she uses her skills to support him and guide him forward, never letting her love for him become a distraction or hindrance. Always able to make their love a strength for both their careers. The overall cast is charming and wonderful. The production values are very good - the soundtrack is especially excellent. One thing that is interesting is the social messaging in the show. A major plot theme is the struggles of people like YuTu and his colleagues, working in the aerospace industry, with balancing work pressures and family and social relationships. The picture painted in the show is that they have to sacrifice so much of their personal lives in order to support the missions. The picture painted is very stark. And matches up with what is true and known outside this show. But the show also has the various characters basically yield patriotic lip-service with "that's just the way it has to be". Clearly that's to get past the censors. Because it doesn't really have to be that way. Western aerospace institutions are able to accomplish all the same things while often working within mandated work-life balance rules that prevent the kind of overwork burnout conditions the show alludes to. So it feels like the show was having it both ways. On one hand, clearly illustrating the problem, but then safely skirting past the sensors by not having characters decry the state of things or call for changes.Was this review helpful to you?

Good soup
an actual adult relationship depicted, Dilraba did great, Yang Yang not so much. I love Qiao JingJing, she was everything.I’ve watched a lot of Cdramas now since I started this year and it’s weird how they just take shxt from their elders simply because of that. I understand respect but they cross the line a lot and it irks me. Yu Tu’s teacher had no right guilt tripping him everyday as if. I also didn’t feel like Yu Tu actually loved his job, that wasn’t portrayed to me at all.
There were some very unnecessary boring episodes, I’m not here for a lecture on space exploration skip Eps 15-19. Overall, it was still a very enjoyable drama, I just like to elaborate on the annoying points. I enjoyed it much more by the 2nd watch

Mature and healthy love <3
This drama has by far one of the healthiest relationships I have ever seen! Yu Tu and Jing Jing are two people who are mature and also respect each other so deeply. I watched this drama in 2021.The slow burn was kind of excruciating, but it was so worth it in the end! I absolutely loved how they were able to reconnect, even after years without seeing each other. Their relationship is just so beautiful to me, as they are able to focus on themselves while also being in a committed relationship. Even though they spend a lot of time apart, their love and trust for one another doesn't ever falter.

Sweet, Pure, Supportive Love
I had no idea what You Are My Glory was about, however I recognized the male lead as the lead in Love O2O (which I'm sorry to say I still haven’t watched to date welp). Coming out of this show though, and I’m just stunned by how much this show has made me fall in love with love again.You are My Glory Review- Sweet, Pure, Supportive Love
I give this crazy good show a 9.5/10. This show was a ball of sweetness, it was pure, supportive and mature. It fulfilled every checkbox that I look for in a romance. The main characters have the healthiest relationship once they get together, they talk about all their feelings, they understand each other, and stay supportive of each other in their busy life-styles. The premise of this show was fun with the one character being an aerospace engineer and the other one being a full-blown famous celebrity, however, their healthy attitudes and supportive nature made the show just a delight to watch.
My review of this show lost 0.5 only because close to the end of the show they kept having so many time jumps, and also in the beginning of the show I felt Yang Yang’s acting felt a bit too stiff.
This show, all in all, was just a sweet, pure, supportive romance between two green flagged characters that starts with a rejection when they were in highschool and 10 years later it blooms into a full-blown cute relationship.
This show is a must-watch for romance watchers who love supportive relationships with little misunderstandings, a lot of kissing, and a love story that transcends generic romance.

What Episode did the Main Couple Start Dating?
Yu Tu and Qiao Jing Jing officially start dating in Episode 21. They also get married in episode 30 in a group wedding run by the aerospace industry.
Yu Tu actually rejects Qiao Jing Jing again in Episode 15, since he feels that he can’t be the best boyfriend for her since he decided to stay in the aerospace industry. However, after both of them dread about it for at least 3 episodes, he decides to attempt to woo her back.
He asks her out in Episode 20, but she doesn’t give a definitive answer as she is afraid he will break her heart. However, in Episode 21 she finds out that he did fulfill her wish of getting a Penta Kill for her birthday and he came rushing to her at the karaoke bar high school reunion to keep attempting his luck. She accepts him then and thus begins their cutesy relationship.
Misunderstandings?
There is a bit of misunderstanding between Episode 15 to Episode 18, as Qiao Jing Jing doesn’t understand why Yu Tu rejects her again. However, this time was needed for Yu Tu to grow some balls LOL aka gain some confidence and pursue her.
Why does Yu Tu reject Qiao Jing Jing both times?
Yu Tu rejects Qiao Jing Jing in highschool because he was very naive and felt like the girl he should date should be as intelligent as him with more future prospects.
He rejects her again in the future because he feels that his job in the aerospace industry is not well paying, and he will always be busy and won’t have time to care and love her properly.
Love Triangles?
There are no love triangles.
In the beginning of the show, they introduced us to Yu Tu’s ex-girlfriend, who is also a highschool classmate of both Yu Tu’s and Qiao Jing Jing. She has come back to try to win Yu Tu back, however, she was unsuccessful extremely early on and we never see her again.
Qiao Jing Jing’s ex also shows up at her door one day, yet leaves when he sees Yu Tu. He tries his luck again after the mobile gaming competition, however, Qiao Jing Jing sticks her ground and tells him she’s not interested, in her own way of course.
You Are My Glory Ending
You Are My Glory has a cute ending where there is a time skip 5 years after they got married to show us that Yu Tu successfully launches God Searcher and Qiao Jing Jing was there to support him and love him through that process. It’s just that feel good ending that we need.
