It is a very intriguing drama that keeps you shocked
I loved the drama, it is new and unique and I love the second couple even though they are both psycho. It's nice to watch a drama and not have to think. I love the difference between the couples and how angry I am at Chain, Jorn and Sun, but that's what makes me love this drama more, because all the friends are crazy and stupid and in love, but the most shocking is what happens at the end of episode 6 and all I can say to Nu is why? And I would love to see a season 2 about how both couples are going to end?Was this review helpful to you?
Eye contact the series
I had to create this account just so I could write a review about this series. I just want to know—what the hell is this story and script? I’m so pissed right now because what in the hell was that?I understand that this series may be a low-budget production, and that might be why they rushed it, but why include a storyline that isn’t going to be properly handled? The rape scene was horrible. And sadly, it's not something new to us in this genre—but to leave everything unresolved, with no consequences for the rapist, is terrifying.
I really don't know what the director’s idea was, but to think that this is what they’re going to shove down viewers’ throats is just frustrating.
As for the acting—it’s also very poor. And no hate to the actors, because I understand that they are first-timers. But the production failed them by not providing an acting coach to guide and support them. Now the actors are getting hate for simply trying to pursue their dreams.
It’s frustrating, especially knowing that most BL viewers are female, and many of us have strong, sensitive reactions to topics like rape. This series is giving the impression that male rape victims should be silent or feel ashamed. It’s literally disgusting.
If you're reading this, please reduce the hate directed at the actors. Instead, direct your criticism at the production team—they are the ones who truly failed here.

I liked the actors, beautiful and have chemistry and potential, even if in some crying scenes Nu didn't really manage to perform.
I sincerely feel sorry for the actors, but I don't recommend watching this series.

Flawed but with some potential
Possible spoilers, but not for everyoneI think other reviewers have hinted that 6 episodes was too short a timescale to tie up the loose threads. I certainly felt that as well.
The comments section suggests that despite the low scores some reviewers have given, the series generated quite a lot of continuing interest. There was obviously something a bit difficult to define that made some people come back episode after episode.
I fully respect the objections some viewers had to Jorn's humiliation of Chain. (Tbh, I could only watch the uncut version) I can completely understand that behaviour of that kind going unchallenged came across as very unsatisfactory.
Having said that, the complex Jorn/Chain relationship was probably the most psychologically interesting aspect of the whole series. It's a shame and a failing in terms of the production that there wasn't time to explore this further, It was fairly obvious that those two were into each other in a big way, but could only express it in a very awkward and negative manner. In contrast, Lin and Ploy managed to resolve the tension between themselves in a much more positive way.
I suppose the cliff hanger ending in Episode 6 might have been dealt with if Episode 7 had appeared. The high school sub plot was yet another example of unresolved plot strands.

Too many problem to adressed
There's a lot problem :1. A lot of plot hole
This story is adaptation from novel, Sun-Nu novel 2 book and John-Chain 2 book, 1 book contain around 100 chapter so the total for 4 book are around 400 chapter, and they tried to fit it to 6 episode. It's total chaos. They jump from one scene to another scene, from one conflict to another conflict, without proper explanation or excecution. To make it worse, in that 6 episode there are 4 couple. And the high school student have nothing to do with other 3 cp except they just classmate to main lead sister. What the hell are they trying to do?
I think this story are trial, from the ending and the whole excecution. i think they try 6 episode first and when it's succesed they will add season 2 or another ep, i don't know it's just my guess.
2. The plot contain sa, cheating, violation, kidnapping , etc. I think this kind of plot has been abandoned. But here they are.
3. The acting. All of them need improving their acting. Do many workshop, practice, etc.

Wastage of time
If someone tells you that Top form and Eye Contact were under the same broadcast network, you might slap them 😂😂🤣Eye Contact was a complete joke and wastage of time.
The different story lines that didn't even link to an understanding level were disturbing.
The high school plot and the university plot, there was confusion all over the place.
Then the way they tried to recreate the VegasPete story line from Kinnporsche with Chain and Jorn was just 🤢🤢🤢
On top of that the relationship between Nu and Sun is also very questionable.
Then they had the audacity to end the show with a cliffhanger of Nu's fiancée 🤣🤣🤣🤣 like what the hell is wrong with you.
I have watched shows with less episodes but they managed to deliver a well told story.
Walahi if l hear a season 2 of this trash , l will definitely make hell break loose.
You have done enough damage as it is so please keep the rest of this..... whatever it is to yourselves.
Music 🤢
Acting: maybe
Cast:😍😍😍 maybe the only good thing about it
Plot:🤢🤢🤢
All in all even the 5.7 rating is an overdo
Please try better next time

Calling this series awful is a compliment
The characters (excluding the female leads) are boring, emotionless, and poorly acted, as are the androids, in a poorly written script. This series relies heavily on rape, severe beatings, a psychopathic bully whose character is so freakin creepy.
Kidnapping, attempted murder, non-consensual sexual contact, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and one absurd ointment scene in ep.1.,
The acting is of low quality and often mismatched with the scene. Empty, shallow, and unchecked. To keep viewers interested, a certain amount of information is needed to explain why these characters act the way they do; this series offers none of that. It’s hard to follow because the script is inconsistent. Nothing flows; avoidable misunderstandings rule each scene, and it is not worth it to try to keep up.
Pros: The female leads are relatable.
The attitude of the director and producer towards sexual violence, bullying, gang violence, force fed drugs and rape is over the top arrogant and dangerous. The rape scene in episode 5 is so disgustingly disturbing, I can't believe it was allowed to be shown.

✨ Eye Contact BL Series — My Honest Review So Far
Okay, let me start with the production. Honestly, I think the production quality is good. The visuals are clean, the audio is clear, and the overall setup looks professionally done. So on that part, no complaints. Now, moving on to the acting and pacing… I feel like everything is just happening too fast. The way the characters are developing and the speed of the story feels a bit rushed to me. I wish they took more time to build up the tension and relationships.
But I have to say — Chain and Jorn are my favorite part of the series so far. They’re giving me that intense, lowkey toxic energy that’s super interesting to watch 😭🔥. I love how Jorn keeps telling Chain what to do and how Chain keeps underestimating him — it's wild but entertaining!
As for Sun and moon (yes, I know it’s Sun and Nu but lol), I don’t even know what to say yet. Their chemistry is nice, but again, it all feels a little too fast. I didn’t really understand the ending of the latest episode. It just left me confused. Not bad… just confusing 😅
Also, I’ve been trying to find where to read the original novel but no luck yet. If anyone knows, please share because I’m curious to see how it was written.
So yeah — overall, the series is okay. It has potential, but I think the pacing could be better.
Still watching though 👀💕

IT'S OVER AND I'M SO CONFUSED
First things first, what did I just watch?! Was this supposed to be an END?! WHERE'S HIS EVIL MOTHER? WHERE IS HIS FIANCÉ STORY? WHERE IS THE PSYCHOPATH COUPLE ENDING AT?I know u are all shocked with those scenes from Ep.5,
Yeh, unpleasant to watch? Yes...
But there are couples that enjoy that kinda thing (who am I to judge tho) ahahahhahaha Having watched Kinnporsche and Playboyy, I kinda understood why this hate/obsession took place
...
But that ending... THAT ending is just plainly awful...
About the acting... Unfortunately the main couple couldn't cry in the scenes that it was the most harmful to the characters. I wanted to punch my screen yelling, CRY DUDE. JUST CRY....
Still havent understood why the stupid cheating happened... he doesn't even give a worthwhile reason or justification for that action... it was just stupidity... The forgiveness? The cliché "I'm sick because I regreted out in the cold the whole days "
Can someone please, enlighten me if we are having 2nd season soon... (obviously we have to, but just to be sure).
Prepared yourselves before starting...

Everything and nothing at the same time
Seriously though man writing this review is hard lolThis series was all over the place. Trying to fit in 4 couples in 6 ep with no development from anybody. Sun a cheater, Jon a R***pist, Nu has absolutely no personality at all, the two girls no chemistry, the high-school kids had no connection to the main story so it felt unnecessary and inconcluded. Acting was poor, writing was poor, editing was terrible. But idk somehow I end up watching it til the end. Maybe it was because of Chain that man is gorgeous I just wanted to protect him. I'm giving this show a 6.5/10

Great cast, mid script
his series definitely isn’t one of the best, but it’s also not as bad as some people say. Yes, the script wasn’t great, but the story had potential and some real depth, even though it was dark and messed up.The only characters who weren’t problematic were the girls, but I feel like they didn’t get enough chances to show off their acting.
The school kids didn’t make any sense in the story, they had no real purpose and just took attention away from the main couple for no good reason.
Now about the second couple… what was that? Their whole thing gave major PeteVegas vibes. And I don’t mind dark or intense stories, but way too much happened in way too little time.
Still, the series was good enough. The acting was actually really nice, these actors deserve better scripts in better series.
I don’t think a bad script is enough to say that this show was bad or unwatchable like some people claim. I enjoyed the chemistry, acting, and camera work. So when I see people rating it like 2/10, that feels like overreacting. I’d give it a 6/10 easily, even if the script wasn’t good enough.
I haven’t read the novel, but they really didn’t have to put every couple in these series, it was unnecessary knowing it wasn’t gonna be long. I know they planned for one more episode, but honestly have no idea what they would have done to make it less chaotic than it was now. The ending was rushed, but knowing the circumstances, it wasn’t the worst.
Honestly, season 2 wouldn’t be too bad, I believe with a good script, maybe a bit longer episodes or a few additional episodes, they could pull everything together just fine.
I wouldn’t recommend it, but wouldn’t say that you shouldn’t watch it either.
