Just an opinion from a recent 1st time The Heirs watcher…

After years of watching Kdramas, I finally decided to watch The Heirs.
Despite a lot of strong opinions for and against, it was a good drama.

When I watch older dramas I need to adjust to how women are treated. How they are spoken to and pulled around like dolls with respect to what they want or don’t. And like in the American TV show: Dallas, how a forced kiss can turn in to something the female just agrees to mid-kiss.

Maybe that actually happens, as fortune favors the bold. Still it’s not easy to accept for someone who believes in equality, respect, and equal rights for all.

My only real criticism for this show (except for the cliches and tropes) is that it should have been about college age young people. While the characters are at times immature and childish- the things they deal with seem much more adult than high schoolers, forget “being 18”. I think that just makes it easier for international viewers to accept some very adult situations.

Again it was an enjoyable watch, if you suspend reality for the 20 hours or so of the series. That said it was enough to keep me watching the entire 20 episodes over 3 days.

Good idea, bad execution

Personally, I love Dramas about rich kids like Gossip Girl or Meteor Garden so I felt like I had to watch this one as well.
I first started in 2016 but dropped the show after 7 episodes or so. In 2020, when I had already forgotten why I‘d dropped it I decided to give it another chance. But after 2 episodes of pointless dialogue and the same story repeating over and over again I remembered why I didn’t finish it.
I loved the setting but I‘m still wondering how they managed to make the main girl the least interesting and complex character of the whole show. All the characters have so much potential but Chan Eun Sang is just that one poor girl that constantly has to remind everyone how hard her life is instead of actually standing up for herself.
Furthermore she contributes almost nothing to her relationship and doesn‘t really have any goals in life besides earning money. Don‘t get me wrong this obviously isn‘t the actress’s fault, I think Park Shin played the role well, the problem is with how the character was.

Here‘s what I liked about the show:

The setting:
Spoiled rich brats competing over who gets their parents‘ company is actually a very promising concept in my opinion. The problem was they didn‘t really focus on that aspect but neither did they focus on the romance properly. It was just a weird half-assed mix of the two which made watching more than one episode at once painfully exhausting.

The wardrobe:
This was one of the main reasons why I could manage to finish the show. The characters are super stylish and I got a lot of style inspiration from the girls (especially Lee BoNa, my fav character) There were also very few outfit-repeats (except for Eun Sang, but she‘s supposed to be poor soo) and the wardrobe fit each person‘s character really well (except for that 2000$ coat they gave Cha Eun Sang, let‘s not talk about that)

The villains:
Honestly, I think Rachel, BoNa and YeongDo carried this whole show on their backs. Without them, there wouldn’t have been ANYTHING to build the plot around and they were also the only ones who gave the show some sort of character.

The soundtrack was good in my opinion, but „Love is the moment“ was often used in the wrong situations which made the scene look tacky.


Overall, if your standards in Dramas aren‘t very high or you just want to watch all of the K-Drama classics, it might be worth the watch burn other than that I really can‘t understand why this show is considered iconic and one of the classics when there‘s so many Dramas that are so much better.

Heirs Was Carried by Kim Woo Bin

Heirs had a terrible script and honestly the only reason I kept watching was for Kim Woo Bin's performance. He brought more charisma and emotional depth than the actual storyline deserved. Every time he was on screen, the drama became more interesting, which says a lot considering he wasn't even the main lead.

The biggest problem with the drama is that most of the characters had nothing to offer outside of the romance. Their personalities, motivations, and development all revolved around who they liked or who liked them back. Once you remove the romance aspect, there's barely anything left to connect to. A lot of the characters felt shallow and repetitive, especially when the drama kept forcing emotional moments that didn't feel earned.

The writing relied heavily on clichés, dragged out misunderstandings, and overly dramatic dialogue that made it hard to take certain scenes seriously. Even the central romance wasn't compelling enough to carry the story. The show had a strong cast and high production value, but the script wasted most of its potential.

I love both of the main characters so I decided to watch the drama.
The begining is really attracting but later the set change completely... I don't really like to feel out of place in a serie or a drama...
I know there's a lot of people who've been disappointed by this drama but there's a real work that I find amazing but I can't tell it there because it would be considered as a spoiler. But there's this thing that is completely different that other dramas but I think a lot of people missed it :/
I definitely love the songs, I think they are amazing and appropriate and that's all I wanted to say ^^

Marketing di alto livello per il Fashion e il Design di prodotti e di interni

La trama, le ambientazioni splendide tra le spiagge della California, le architetture di ville avveniristiche e di interni contemporanei di alto livello a Seoul, la musica, gli attori tutti bellissimi e bravi (inclusi quelli di supporto o con ruoli marginali, tutti sono centratissimi), tutto concorre a catturarti e incollarti allo schermo per vedere e rivedere ancora questa serie di 20 episodi.
I 3 attori principali sono 3 modelli prestati al cinema: Lee Min Ho - Kim Woo Bin - Choi Jin Hyuk, bravi, ma soprattutto belli e dannati. Durante i 20 episodi gli abiti, i capispalla e i maglioni o i completi o qualunque straccio indossino sono esaltati al massimo. Sembra di essere alla Milano Fashion Week Uomo. Una gioia per gli occhi e soprattutto un'iniziativa marketing di tutto riguardo.
Accanto a loro attrici carismatiche, la prima in assoluto è Kim Mi Kyung, la madre muta della protagonista, che recita con lo sguardo e la postura. Poi Park Shin Hye, la giovane "cenerentola" contesa dai 2 "eredi" degli imperi commerciali delle rispettive famiglie, anche lei molto centrata nel suo ruolo.
Infine i padri-imperatori che tengono in pugno i loro figli finalizzati a mantenere ed accrescere i loro imperi economici, con metodi che, per chi ha letto i "Promessi Sposi" di Alessandro Manzoni, ricalcano la figura del Principe-Padre della Monaca di Monza. Quindi, quel pezzo di Corea Capitalista e contemporanea, ricalca le dinamiche dei Potenti dell'Italia del 1600 ...
La sceneggiatura è ben scritta e la serie, anche rivista una seconda volta, è apprezzabilissima.

Arrastado, mas um romance muito bonito.

Eu serei sincero, assisti essa série logo depois de ter assistido as incríveis 2521 e 18 Again, por isso pode ser que isso tenha afetado minha avaliação. Essa série trás o clássico choque entre o mundo das pessoas comuns, pobres, e o mundo das pessoas super ricas, sendo um tipo de história que eu sempre gostei por culpa da série The O.C, que faz esse trabalho muito bem. E isso já me traz ao que eu mais gostei nessa série que foi a Park Shin-Hye que fez um trabalho excelente como Cha Eun-Sang, inclusive acho que ela se destaca em relação a todos os outros já que não me lembro de achar a interpretação deles tão marcante por muitos momentos como achei em relação a Park Shin-Hye. Park Shin-Hye representou muito bem uma garota humilde e esforçada, forte, mas ao mesmo tempo muito frágil por estar sendo exposta a uma realidade que cobra muito trabalho e responsabilidade até mesmo de uma adolescente, que deveria estar vivendo um mundo menos amargo. Chá Eun-Sang é uma garota linda, linda visualmente, mas linda também por ser esforçada e por ser moralmente admirável, mesmo que ela tenha derrapando no início, mas eu entendo, era pressão demais e ela cresceu o suficiente para tornar sua moralidade ainda mais solida.

E para falar a verdade essa série é sobre ganhar sendo moralmente superior e essa é uma lição que muitos personagens acabam precisando aprender e é por isso que é interessante. Como eu disse, é uma série arrastada, as vezes é agoniante como os problemas vão sendo empilhados, parecendo que nunca serão resolvidos. É até triste, é como se realmente aqueles personagens estivessem sendo torturados e por um lado isso é bom para a caracterização, por outro prejudica muito o ritmo da série e isso pode afastar muitas pessoas, fazendo parecer que a série não avança ou que os personagens são impotentes demais.

Para terminar, achei estranho como muitos personagens são introduzidos e raramente ou demoram muito anter certo desenvolvimento, eles acabam sendo introduzidos como importantes de uma forma meio gratuita, isso só não me incomodou tanto porque alguns deles eram bem legais. Fora a Eun-Sang o melhor personagem foi o Yoon Jae-Ho, porque em termos de superioridade moral, esse personagem foi o rei nessa série. Não vou dizer todas, mas a maioria das ações desse personagem foram corretas, foram responsáveis e um exemplo de moralidade em relação a todos ali. Ele nunca deixou de ajudar quem realmente precisava, mesmo estando na mira de um canhão, também nunca atacou com seu próprio canhão qualquer um que parecesse frágil diante dele. nós RPGs ele seria um personagem lawful good.

Ah, preciso novamente falar sobre como a Park Shin-Hye é linda, que mulher fofa, a todo segundo eu senti vontade de roubar ela pra mim, abraçar ela, entregar o carinho e o cuidado que ela merecia. Ela me lembrou outra garota que eu acho super fofa, a atriz Imamori Maya que faz a personagem Ichikawa Sumino no Super Sentai de 2025, N°1 Sentai Gozyuger. Elas são visualmente parecidas e são as rainhas da fofura, meu fraco por esse tipo de garotas não é fácil KKKKKK.

Falar de Herdeiros é um pouco complicado.

Falando primeiro dos pontos fortes: Elenco perfeitíssimo! Gostei muito dos atores escolhidos e dos personagens (ou a maioria deles ), principalmente de alguns secundários. Pausa pra falar do Park Hyung-sik... MDS! KKKKKKKKKKK eu rachei quando eu vi ele... ícone!.

Gostei muito da atriz Park Shin-hye. Foi o meu primeiro drama com ela, e ela é top! Outros pontos fortes foram a trilha sonora e nada a reclamar do fechamento. Agora, as minhas feridas rsrs. Primeiro, não fui muito com o personagem do Kim Tan. Não que ele seja ruim, mas ele é muito explosivo e dramático, que tinha hora que eu ficava '-', acabou que eu escolhi o Kim Woo-bin, mesmo com aquelas sobrancelhas charmosas dele KKKKKKK. Outro ponto foi a incoerência no exagero. Tipo, acontecia algo exagerado, como quando ela fugiu por causa das ameaças do pai do Kim Tan, ai o Kim Tan vai atrás dela, ela dá um super fora nele e diz que não ama ele e tals, e do nada e por nada, se resolve, No caso, do nada ela resolveu voltar. Mesma coisa quando o pai dele autorizou eles namorarem. Eu fiquei: SE ERA ASSIM QUE TU IA DEIXAR, PRA QUÊ ESSE REBULIÇO TODO INFELIZ??

Mas resumindo tudo, o drama foi muito bom, deu pra aproveitar muito, rir muito, chorar muito (Mds, eu não podia ver a mãezinha dela que dava vontade de chorar) e passar muita raiva. Recomendo sim!

O que Choi Young Do fez com Cha Eun Sang para atingir Kim Tan foi ridículo.

Acho que na era medieval não seria assim, pois ele já teria sido morto.

Tratar uma garota assim para atingir alguém e depois falar que gosta dela.

E ela ainda continuar falando com ele só um filme/novela mesmo.

Será que na Coréia é assim, até onde essa ficção tem suas realidades?

¿Quieres empezar a ver k-dramas?, entonces busca otro

Este fue el primer dorama que vi y, si bien no tenía tantas expectativas debido a que es del 2013, no pensé que me iba a dar tanta vergüenza ajena. Además, quise verlo de todas maneras porque soy muy fan de F(x) y sabía que actuaba Krystal.

La trama es muy plana y aburrida, muy predecible a mi parecer. Sé que los dramas coreanos tienden a tener esta clásica temática de triángulo amoroso y la niña pobre que se enamora del rico; pero esta serie es otra cosa porque llevan todo a un nivel hiper exagerado, tipo novelas mexicanas.

El inglés, ay esas pronunciaciones. Lo que más me daba risa era que supuestamente aquellos personajes que hablaban inglés eran quienes manejaban el idioma porque vivían o vivieron en Estados Unidos, y bueno. En este aspecto espero que le hayan pagado bien a Krystal porque fue LA persona que salvó a mis oídos.

Rescato la actuación de los personajes secundarios más que los principales, por ejemplo, Krystal Jung se lució porque de verdad me llegó a caer mal su personaje. Sin embargo, terminé queriendo a Bona porque intentó ayudar y comprender a los demás, a su manera claro.

En resumen, este es de esos k-dramas que puedes ver mientras ordenas tu pieza, lavas la loza u otras actividades cotidianas porque, simplemente, no requiere de mucha atención.

Dorama...

La vi recien en el 2024. Ya habia visto Boys over flowers, Personal Taste de él y muchas más y hace poco vi Doctors y Urgencias existenciales de ella. Y después de 4 años de ver doramas. Me decidi por ver Herederos. Habia leido que era un dorama clásico de niña pobre y niño rico y no me aniamaba a verlo porque me parecia tipico latinoamericano pero un dia me decidi y en 3 dias lo vi! La verdad esta entretenido. La historia te lleva. A mi me gusto.
Él es rico pero tiene sus dramas familiares que en un momento no sabé quien sufre más si él o ella con su "pobreza". Igual, ella va al colegio, trabaja y trata de superarse. Es inteligente. Habia leido que ella lloraba mucho pero si.. no le quedaba otra. Vos no llorias si te hacen bulling? no lloraria si tu hermana te traiciona? en fin.. y otras cosas más. Me parecio humana.
Son 20 capitulos y no 16...... y no me peso para nada!!
