THIS SUCK
First of all, you have to know that what is being replaced is not one or two things, but everything.1. The weapon is changed with unreasonaable reason, they didnt know gun doesnt work on the monster? Please they shown JIHYE with GUN, JIHYE is YJH student, and YJH is a REGRESOR HE IS SUPPOSED TO KNOW!!!
2. Bihyung looked like a damn labubu in the worst way possible, he looks ugly, the dokkaebi is bad looking making my stomach churn.
3. Sangah being basic healer like thats not Seolhwa job. Sangah literally a fighter, a killer, she kills the enemy with the strings they said she used them to heal? What bs.
4. Dokja being a Hero. His ass is not a Hero for the world, his reason is to see the epilog of twsa, the reason he is still living.
5. Dokjas dad is not abusve. What is the point of changing that? Why would they change that?
6. Dokja does not hate his mom. Why change this too? He is the MC yet his character getting chopped so much.
7. Apparently Heewon is the protagonist of twsa. Come on now, Heewon doesnt exist on twsa why would she be the protagonist? What is YJH then?
8. Dokja hates twsa. This is so bad, twsa the reason he is still alive....why would he hates the novel he has read for Ten years...
9. Tl123(?) the author, Sooyoung(?) tells kdj to write the novel himself. She write the novel for kdj why would she say that?
10. The cgi is shit, theater kids could make better movie that this director.
This is the worst adaptation ever.
Maybe because this is more like taking inspiration but scared of being told plagiarism so they went ahead with calling it adaptation.

Painfully bad
I want my money back. This was painful to watch. Non readers cant even understand it, it lacks so much context and would be confusing for ppl who havent read the novel. It sucks, thats all.Now, this movie in the perspective of a reader, also sucks. The story is all over the place, doesn't follow the original plot, cgi and cinematography is so painfully average (one might even say bad) for a movie that has a big budget. Even so, it seems like they used that budget for the actors, but was that good? No, not really. They couldnt capture the character's vibe and aura well. It was a waste of space, time, and money. Just give up already

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT!
as an original orv fan, this is such a disappointment. it’s not that orv fans hate your faves — it’s just that the way the director RUINED the original work (the novel) is beyond frustrating. HE RUINED THE WHOLE LORE OF ORV. we’re angry because this adaptation completely disrespects the heart of the story and characters. i said what i said, COMPLETELY!i’m sorry, but this is one of the worst adaptations i’ve ever seen. it’s NOT THE REAL omniscient reader’s viewpoint.

THIS WHOLE MOVIE IS JUST RAGE BAITING FOR ALL THE ORV NOVEL, MANHWA FANS. The whole movie is straight out disrespecting the Author and the novel itself. They should just make as "inspired by ORV" rather making it as Life Action. The novel itself is NOT suitable for Life Action. From the casting, I know I have a bad feeling for this movie. The casting most of it are just NOT. No offense for the actor and actress, I like them but they are not suitable for the characters. The more information I get from the movie , the more disappointed I felt. What do you mean using gun??? . The director using an actress fame just to get other watching this stuff. not worth the watch even as a standalone movie.
From the beginning we knew that they would screw up the adaptation and won't be faithful to the original novel. But they didn't even try to make it look or sound good.The script? Terrible.
The graphics? Cheap.
The plot/story? It's all over the place.
The acting? Awkward.
Even as a standalone movie they didn't bother to even try to explain the story's universe/setting. It will be so damn confusing to anyone who watches it.
If you wanted a cool action movie, atleast do it properly. This is just a poorly executed nonsense. Wouldn't recommend at all. If you are actually interested maybe give the original novel a try cause this story is one of the best fiction ever.

Trash belongs to trash can
As a fan of ORV novel I'm greatly disappointed. Absolute trash. Actors are acting like robots. The protagonists seems pathetic. Why are they fighting monsters with a pathetic stick?Story is all over the place. The bullied kid was made the bully. Action scenes were a total disaster. The vfx??? Don't wanna talk about it. WORST ADAPTION
I’m honestly disappointed with what’s supposed to be an “adaptation.” This version completely strips away the soul of the original work. Watching Kim Dokja lose all his presence and depth was exhausting, and it’s hard to believe the production team even glanced at the source material. If this is what you call an adaptation, then honestly, even Wattpad fanfictions have done a better job respecting the core of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.Let’s talk about the inconsistencies. The Kim Dokja portrayed here feels like a stranger. He would never say “this novel is the worst”—that line alone already betrays his entire worldview. And what’s with the firearms? Both Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk have extensive knowledge of their world; they would absolutely know better than to use weapons that don’t work.
And one very important trait: Kim Dokja doesn't save people out of kindness. He saves them if, and only if, they serve a purpose in his plan. That’s who he is—calculated, practical, and always thinking several steps ahead.
All these overlooked details make the story feel like a shallow shell of what it could’ve been. It’s not just about “changing things for the screen” it’s about losing the essence that made the original story powerful.

I’m SCREAMING. WTF is this?! It'd like the director read half the source material, said “nah,” and decided to yeet the soul of sNs masterpiece into the void. They changed SO MUCH, and I’m not okay! Kim Dokja deserves better, and this mess is sitting at the same cursed table as the Attack on Titan and Dragon Ball Evolution LA!! Let’s talk about how they fumbled this bag and why it’s giving the same vibes as those other disasters.First off, WHY THE HELL are they giving everyone GUNS?! Like, are you kidding me? They’re out here handing Hee Won daggers like she’s in an Avengers flick and giving Lee Hyeon-seong some high-tech gauntlet nonsense. And don’t get me started on Yoo Joonghyuk’s sword looking like it was forged in a sci-fi lab. This ain’t the apocalyptic struggle we signed up for! These are literally his most important skills ?? Kim Dokja communicating with TLS123 ?? Kim Dokja reviving Yoo Joonghyuk?? What is happening in this sh*itty movie ??
Jung Heewon being SA'd was not even mentioned, the just cut out the scene, it's disgusting
And the dialogue ?? Nothing is the same
This is just a trash movie who deserves nothing, a disappointment, a failure, a flop, a fiasco, catastrophic, good for nothing, a waste of time, garbage, a junk movie

DON'T WATCH THIS SHI
If you're in for the story just read the novel or webtoon instead because this shi changed everything from the original story to the point it's not recognizable anymore. The CGI is bad, the lines are bad, the very "ADAPTATION" is bad. They butchered my favorite novel and I refuse to acknowledge this as "Omniscient Reader" blergh. I gave 2 stars out of respect for the actors but that's it, just read the novel instead. Discomfort due to the lack of respect
This guy must be a hater of the original story. Since when does Kim Dokja hate TWSA and act like a hero? Since when is Sangah a healer? That role belonged to Seolhwa! Where are my four crazy constellation girls from the beginning?The result of this adaptation is clearly a lack of respect toward those who came to watch it—whether for the novel or for the actors. They made both sides fight and criticize each other, when the real problem is the director.
If you're a fan of either side and truly support the actors or the original work, stop watching this or giving it a good rating. Otherwise, you're just showing that your story or your favorite actor is something that can be stepped on like it's worthless.

don’t watch it if you’ve read the novel
if you’re not going to follow the original story and make so many changes then you shouldn’t have made the movie in the first place anyone who has read at least one chapter knows that this movie has insulted the original plot of this story I honestly feel bad for the author of ORV I mean what do you mean yo sangha is a healer her whole character is an assassin literally olympid is her counsellation she is like one of the top ten strongest characters and what do you mean yo joonghyuk is a side character mfWas this review helpful to you?
