Mission: Steal My Heart - 100% Complete!
To start this love letter of mine, I would like to say that I came in completely oblivious to the plot and drama genre. I had seen tiny glimpses of Xuanhuan dramas before and thought that they would never be my cup of tea. It's safe to say that I couldn't have been more wrong, and I'm so happy that I gave this show a chance. It's very rare to find a drama with such a captivating storyline and rich world full of unique, lovely characters. The acting and overall production quality made this an immersive experience that kept me in its warm embrace until the end. Every plot twist and moment of character development was built in such a meaningful way. In a nutshell, I felt connected, and that's no easy feat.
As I'm at a loss for words, I'll just let my tears speak for themselves. Almost feels like I'm saying goodbye to a dear friend now that the drama is over. We had such an adventure together. It was full of laughter, love, hope and sorrow. We lost loved ones and learned to face hard truths. Most of all, it was a journey of growth. It changed me, and that's how I know it was one heck of a ride.
Finally, I cannot thank my fellow reviewers enough for convincing me to dive into this drama. As most of you promised, it truly stole my heart. Mission 100% complete 📕

My Favo CP
Gosh, Esther and Ryan reunite!? MUST WATCH of course!!! Love this Duo so much since Moonlight! And I have to admit, Ryan in this project sooo HANDSOME! I can't!!! Either because of the coustume and make-up or what!? But for sure he's getting more handsome here. And their acting and chemistry more and more mature and BETTER!!! Seems like they're already comfortable having to work together again. But I just can't with this DUO!!! Love them so much!!!
I wish they're getting reunite soon for the third time. And keep their friendship stronger than before! (Or if they want to be a couple in real life, I support them!)

My first CDrama that I got obsessed with
This is the first review I’m doing as I would like to give my thoughts on this one. I’m someone who tries the first 2-3 episodes of a drama and decide if I shall continue. This drama gets its story done on the first few minutes of the first episode and got me hooked. The part that made me decide to want to finish this is the entrance of our beloved ML which has this boss anime music theme (that song rocked).Upon his arrival and the snickering antics he shows, I guess the ML is the sole reason why I was able to finish and got intrigued with the story.
For the actors, this is my second Esther Yu drama as I’ve seen her LBFAD and liked that one (but not a huge fan). I don’t hate her cute voice as I have respect for her craft especially that she’s an idol/singer and actress. I like how she does her own dub and being a cute and bubbly character suits her so well as this is her own irl persona. I’m just happy she was able to distinguish her role here as Ling MiaoMiao and her Orchid character in LBFAD.
Now for our ML, this is the first drama I’ve seen of Ding Yuxi and made me a fan of his. I actually saw him on Reels and thought he looks handsome with his eyeglasses, but boy I did not know HE CAN ACT SO WELL. His eyebrows, eyes and lips are all acting with his micro-expressions that few actors can pull.
Esther Yu and Ding Yuxi’s chemistry is on fire with this one that it works like magic. Would definitely like to see them in modern adult/mature like collab for their 3rd one if this can happen. Also, they sung some of the songs in the dramas OST. Talk about having that more emotion when that song plays on a scene.
For the story, as someone who is not a fan of dragging plot, I could say episodes 1-20 are so bingeable that you can finish them in one sit and the rest of the episodes are a drag and made me want to sleep sometimes. How I wish we can see more romantic scenes of them after that 99% affinity. I felt robbed after episode 20 as this shifts to the background story, saving the world and the support characters.
I hope they release special episodes where we can see more of their romance as everyone wants more. People even watch their first tandem, Moonlight because of this.
Nevertheless this was a great pleasure and fun to watch albeit the 2nd half’s drag as this was truly an enjoyable story that I’ll remember for a long time.

amazing story but a lot of people don't like the ending but I think the ending is decent. I love the story line Fu Zhou had a crush on Miao Miao since childhood and all her books are based on her. This storyline tells me that you need to love yourself and love someone at the same time. Miao Miao is basically his sun and I believe it made Ziqi shine and became more happy with her.

"This book is for a girl. She saved my world twice."
I was planning not to watch this drama at first when I heard it came out but still decided to give it a chance as the plot looked promising. After watching the first ten-ish episodes, I was completely hooked on the storyline and acting, and cinematography. I was completely convinced the entire drama would be amazing 10/10, but after 20 episodes it started to get kind of messy and I couldn't keep up, and I wish they did a little more for the ending. Despite the flaws though, I still overall loved this drama, it's just the last few episodes that kinda fell off. Overall 9/10P.S. the ost in this drama makes me feel like i'm ascending

The Love Game in Eastern fantasy is truly one of the most fantastic dramas of 2024! It's chaotic, energetic, and surprisingly emotional at times, creating a rollercoaster experience for viewers. The graphics and visuals are stunning, really adding to the magical vibe of the show. The chemistry between the leads is absolutely adorable, and their interactions keep you hooked throughout the story. However, the ending might leave you with mixed feelings—it’s an open ending. If you’re optimistic, you might find it hopeful; but if you think of it differently, it might feel a little bittersweet.
Regardless, this is undoubtedly a must-watch drama of 2024. The storyline, visuals, and performances make it worth every moment. Definitely give it a try!

It has been on my list for so long! Loving it so far! The visuals ❤️
This is good. I immensely enjoyed all the interactions between the leads. It seems like Ding Yu Xi has good chemistry with all his co-stars. The more time spent on them the better for the drama because the second couple are very passive and nothing is happening there. I like both the actors but right now they feel like props, hoping that they are more fleshed out in the future episodes. The visuals are so good, from the clothing to the special effects. I especially love Ding Yu Xi's look when he goes demon! Was this review helpful to you?
If you love a quirky but brave FL, I highly recommend watching !
I love this drama!! Got me hooked real bad 😭🫶🏽I'd never watch any dramas other than kdramas but this cdrama will definitely have me exploring beyond that.
The plot, the characters, the twist, the setting 😫🤌🏽
The FL is such a cutie & I love her persona— she has such a big and warm heart ! & Their little crew, "The Four Bamboo Masters" are such an elite group of MCs 😭
Ws in the chat y'all !

A beautiful romance that blooms!
The type of show that pulls you in within 20 minutes! I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in checking out Cdramas. A well rounded cast of talent and none of the characters were truly villains in my opinion. Every single character had their flaws and that’s what made this enjoyable. Every character had a redeeming quality, you do things for people you love. You may not agree with some of their choices but when you love and care for someone, you are left to deal with things in your own matter.. that’s what this story has taught me.I truly love the main 4 leading cast, their bond and dynamic is precious, and the main romance… makes my heart swoon!
OST is amazing too.
I’ll be thinking of this one for awhile.

a drama with beautiful world building and lovable characters
one of the best cdrama for me this year!the best thing about this drama has to be the world building. the world consists of demons and demon catchers. and are protagonists are demon catchers. our fmc lands in the novel of her fav author and has to complete the story to get out. a very common setting but how the drama went about it was beautiful.
the plot was well written. although the pacing did get off (almost all cdramas do) it still kept me hooked. all the side characters had personality and their own stories. they were given the time they needed and i loved their stories too.
the whole found family trope was so good to read. i loved the little team they formed and how they cared for each other. i so wanted a mirror of it all in the modern world once ling miaomiao got out. im not disappointed with the ending but i did want more from it.
overall, a wonderful drama with high rewatch value. a cozy fantasy that you can watch this winter.

Dare I say one of the best of 2024...
I love every minute of the this show. Personally, I thought the ending was really confusing but it still somehow worked. The last 3 episodes was so just so much information for it to be mushed into 3 episodes. The ending felt really really rushed and for that I had to bring down a point. The storyline other wise was amazing as well as the cast of characters; from the main character to the side characters, everyone was very well flushed-out and they're not just NCPs in a story; they are their own characters and have a flushed out story. The ending message was so meaningful: "When can someone love someone else at 100%? Of course it's not when I love you more than I love myself. It's only when I truly love myself, believe in myself, then I can full-heartedly and truly love you."Casting choices was amazing. Yu Shu Xin and Ding Yu Xi did absolutely phenomenal. Their acting was so well done from the micro-expressions to the emotional scenes to the comedic scenes. However, I wish they would've let DYX use his actual voice in the drama because it suited the Zi Qi so well. He has that youthful rebellious voice that suits him so well. From the second I watched Moonlight, another drama with YSX and DYX as the mains, they've been my favorite duo/couple because their chemistry is so good together. Please, I need another drama with them. I love how this is both YSX and DYX, and Zhu Xu Dan and Yang Shi Ze's 2nd time working with each other as couples. ZXD and YSZ were together in Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact. YSX, DYX, and YSZ all worked together in Moonlight as well.
Overall I really really loved this drama, truly one of the best dramas of 2024, if not only of my personal favorites of all time (it changes a lot, but i think it secured a spot in the top 10).
