Episode Title: Lady Yu Lou’s Visit
Lady Yu Lou arrives to break the Wei-Qiao alliance for Bianzhou. When Wei Shao refuses to accept her gift of grain, she reminds him of their shared childhood memories, which were ruined when the Qiaos betrayed the Weis fourteen years ago, and Zhong Lin's older brother died. When Zhong Lin cuts her off and doesn't engage in further discussions, Lady Yu Lou turns to more devious ways to achieve her goal. Her cousin, Su Zi Xin, sneaks Chu Yu back into Yunju, intending to use her to create chaos.

Our villain E Huang is at work as soon as she arrives. I'm glad Wei Shao didn't accept E Huang's grain. The scene where Xiao Qiao tripped Wei Shao was so cute 😻 Watching Wei Shao defend his wife Xiao Qiao made me proud 😻 Poor Wei Shao was left with a choice again. Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao are smart. I believe Wei Shao will defend his cousin Wei Yan and his wife Xiao Qiao as needed

That mom continues to be a piece of work. Whatever happened to the seeds ms empress and crush girl caused possible blowback to the family. Mom didn’t expect that. Wei Shao sticking up for her was truly majestic. The doubt on his cousin after all the antics he just pulled is much harder to dismiss. The mom looks guilty and isn’t too bright. When she has her girlies around her it’s like she has no functioning brain at all. There will be a weight difference but how to find the true guilty party is a whole other thing. And we haven’t even gotten to the real gifts yet. They were too busy trying to demean Qiao Man.

Main CP are now getting more and more confidence of their trust. It was great to see both are in good term as couple. They came through many difficulties but surely they started to like and love each other. What a great story of slow burn romance. It is truly realistic story.
