Une sociopathe mais avec des cicatrices
Quelle est cette masterclass?!Ce kdrama ne m’a pas décue ne serait-ce qu’une seule fois j’ai adoré voir ces 12 épisodes de plus les acteurs ont super bien joués Kim Yoo Jung est aussi forte en romance qu’en sociopathe elle a eu une enfance et vie difficile mais a quand même détruit le vie de certaines personnes innocentes mais je me dis comment aurait-elle été si elle avait grandit autrement?Je ne peux pas lui en vouloir...Kim Jae Oh était toujours là pour elle sans jamais douter il a super bien joué dans ce kdrama autant que dans Moving ça m’a fait plaisir de le revoir joué mais je suis trop triste qu’il soit mort j’ai pleuré pendant 20 minutes 😭😭Was this review helpful to you?

Um bom dorama, até o episódio 4
O trailer mostrou que esse drama tinha muito potencial e isso foi materializado ate o episódio 4, que foi onde encerrou a primeira fase, mostrando a infância e adolescência difícil da A Jin. Eu até gostava do fato dela usar os homens para conseguir o que queria, dela ter eles nas mãos. Até aí tudo fazia sentido, mas começou a desandar a partir do momento que ela provocou a destruição de pessoas que não mereciam. Sinto que perdi 8 horas da minha vida assistindo do episódio 5 ao 12. Eu esperava uma anti-heróina que fizesse mal a quem merecia, e não a pessoas inocentes. Fiquei frustrada com o rumo da história e pra fechar com chave enferrujada, ainda teve o Jun Seo que destruiu a carreira da A Jin (merecidamente) mas esqueceu de denunciar o cara que mandou matar Jae O, o amigo dele.Was this review helpful to you?
Inquietante e doloroso
Un thriller sviluppato in tre archi narrativi, che condensa in 12 puntate i 62 episodi del popolare webtoon di VANZIUN. Una serie per stomaci forti, con un livello di truculenza pari a "Squid Game".Assistiamo all'ascesa e alla caduta della protagonista, Baek Ah Jin, che affronta il suo dolore avviando una spirale distruttiva soprattutto per i due personaggi che la supportano, gli unici ad amarla davvero: li manipola, senza remore, per raggiungere i propri scopi. E si vendica, senza pietà, nei confronti di chi la ostacola o le fa del male. Per questo, mantiene fino alla fine la dicotomia tra trauma e desiderio di riscatto, costi quel che costi. Suscita, allo stesso tempo, empatia e orrore.
Kim Yoo Jung dà vita ad una performance incredibile, mostrando ancora una volta il suo talento. Così come Hong Jong Hyun che troviamo solo negli ultimi episodi; forse il suo personaggio avrebbe meritato maggiore approfondimento.
La violenza domestica è rappresentata in tutto la sua crudeltà e permea soprattutto il primo arco narrativo che si conclude con una sequenza davvero disturbante.
Il finale sembra un po' affrettato, nonostante la sontuosità della messa in scena degli ultimi episodi, con una sequenza inverosimile e illogica, per quanto intrisa di simbolismo.
E un domanda resta aperta: é mai possibile un futuro di redenzione e speranza per questa anima perduta?

The Ultimate "Dark Female Lead" Energy
Kalo bosen sama karakter utama yg terlalu baik dan innocent, this drama is definitely for you. Dear X itu bener-bener definisi aesthetic yg gelap tapi cantik.Jujur, ceritanya intriguing banget. Ini tentang Baek Ah-jin, seorang aktris papan atas yg sebenarnya punya kepribadian sosiopat. Dia menggunakan kecantikannya untuk memanipulasi orang demi mencapai puncak. It’s giving me 'Queen Maker' meets 'dark psychological thriller' vibes. Very bold dan berani!
OMG, Kim Yoojung disini bener-bener glow up! Aktingnya sebagai "wanita bermuka dua" itu dapet banget. Tatapannya itu loh.. dingin tapi tetep terlihat elegant. Dia bener-bener bisa nampilin sisi femme fatale yg bikin kita benci tapi kagum disaat yg sama.
Secara visual, drama ini top tier. Tiap shotnya kelihatan mahal dan sinematik. Bukan tipe romcom yg bikin blushing, tapi tipe yg bikin mikir, "Gila ya, manipulasi orang bisa se elegan ini." Meskipun karakternya agak scary, wardrobenya Kim Yoojung di sini on point bgt. Sangat menginspirasi buat yg suka gaya quiet luxury.

A new masterpiece to recommend.
I thought this k drama would be boring and like the others, but it s a masterpiece! throughout the plot, Baek Ahjin always won away with everything and bla bla, which isn t bad.However when a new character(the rich men) enters in the story, who try to put her in her place, there was a twist and more risk. I love the fact that Ahjin loved so much her ex actor, I LOVE THIS COUPLE, THE CHEMISTRY THEY HAVE,AHHHHHH!!! The cast and the story was perfect, I just didn t like the ending, Joon Seo(I don t know his name) ruined her life, I wanted more episodes, 12 episodes isn t even enough time to develop a story…Was this review helpful to you?
10/10 The Angel with the Sociopath's Smile: Kim Yoo-jung is Devastating
Is it just me, or is it true that the sweeter and more innocent a face looks, the creepier it gets when its owner flashes that cold, emotionless, sociopathic smile?That's exactly the case here. Kim Yoo-jung truly has the face of an angel, but inside, she is the terrifying opposite. I am utterly speechless at the level of performance she delivers; her acting in this role is so phenomenal it deserves an Oscar.
As someone who read the original webtoon, 1 am seriously impressed by how faithfully the series creators have followed the plot. And I have to say, the casting is impossible to be accidental-every single actor is perfectly tailor-made for their role.
The chemistry between Baek Ah-jin (Kim Yoo-jung) and Yoon Joon-seo (Kim Young-dae) is impossible to describe.
It's an intense, unspoken thing. Their glances don't just say a thousand words; they drive the plot forward entirely. 1 am once again speechless at how good these actors are and how they communicate with just body language and eye contact.
Their relationship is already loaded with potential drama: ex-step-siblings who share no blood. That's exactly what the series excels at: the palpable tension, the lingering looks, and all the unspoken words that hang heavy in the air.
Not to mention the surroundings-the cinematography and settings are perfect, especially Ah-jin's home, with that church practically next door. It's the perfect symbol for the immense load of sins she carries, like a demon whispering in the ears of the men she effortlessly wraps around her finger.

ELA TÁ DE VOLTA!
Finalmente a Kim yoo jung voltou e com grande estilo e digamos....com uma skin bem diferente. eu n sou tão fã de séries com psicopatas, quando eu soube de dear X eu fiquei tipo: Será que eu vejo ou n? então decidi ver, vamos começar com aquela intro, que pelo amor de deus é uma das melhores que eu já vi em kdramas e em séries em geral, dear x já te prende nos primeiros segundos do primeiro episódio. A Kim Yoo jung é uma psicopata que agente vai passar pano cor de rosa com glitter. o passado dela é tão bem explicado, bem diferente de outros irmãs que eu já vi. As atuações n tem como falar que tem alguma ruim, as melhores foram da Kim Yoo jung e a da Baek Ah jin criança, ela merece um prêmio juro. Estou muito apegada pelo personagem do Kim Yoo Dae, só de ver os quatro episódios, dá pra ver que ele vai sofrer muito tadinho. Eu amei que ela manipula os homens pela sobrevivência dela e dps joga eles no lixo, e digamos que ela me enganou tbm, pq eu n esperava várias coisas que ela fez. Eu acordei com um vazio agr, pq eu queria ver mais episódios! Agr que o personagem do Hwang in yeop vai entrar na jogada, to animada pra ver a química dele e da yoo jung nas telas. tem muito potencial pra ser um dos melhores de 2025 se continuar assim. Vale muito apena, se vc n gostar dessas histórias de psicopatas, violência pesada e sangue (resumindo ser sensível) eu n recomendo vc ver. drama bien côté
Honnêtement, Dear X est un k-drama vraiment très bien fait, du début à la fin, malgré quelques longueurs. Dès les premiers épisodes, on sent que la série veut proposer quelque chose de plus profond qu’un simple drame romantique classique. L’ambiance est travaillée, l’esthétique est soignée, et surtout l’écriture des personnages est bien plus complexe que ce à quoi on pourrait s’attendre. C’est un drama qui joue beaucoup sur la psychologie, les émotions et les zones d’ombre des relations humaines, et ça, j’ai vraiment apprécié.Mais clairement, le point fort absolu de Dear X, c’est l’actrice principale. Elle est juste incroyable. Vraiment. Je l’aime trop trop. Elle a TROP BIEN JOUÉ SON RÔLE, au point que parfois on en oublie que c’est une fiction. Elle arrive à transmettre des émotions contradictoires : la fragilité, la colère, la manipulation, la douleur, tout passe dans son regard et dans sa manière de parler. Son jeu est intense, juste, jamais forcé. On ressent chaque scène, chaque dilemme intérieur de son personnage. Franchement, sans elle, la série n’aurait clairement pas le même impact. Elle porte le drama sur ses épaules, et elle le fait brillamment.
L’histoire en elle-même est prenante, surtout au début. On est vite accroché, on veut comprendre les motivations des personnages, leurs secrets, leurs choix parfois discutables. Les thèmes abordés sont intéressants : la dépendance affective, le pouvoir émotionnel, la célébrité, l’amour toxique… Ce n’est pas un drama “léger”, et c’est justement ce qui fait sa force. On sent une vraie réflexion derrière le scénario, et ça change des histoires trop prévisibles.
Cependant, il faut être honnête : 12 épisodes, c’est un peu trop long. Vers le milieu du drama, j’avoue que je me suis un peu ennuyé. Certains épisodes traînent, certaines scènes auraient pu être raccourcies ou supprimées sans perdre le sens de l’histoire. On a parfois l’impression que le récit stagne, qu’il tourne en rond, surtout quand les conflits avancent très lentement. Ça casse un peu le rythme et ça peut faire décrocher par moments.
Et puis il y a la fin. La fin m’a clairement laissée perplexe. Ce n’est pas une mauvaise fin en soi, mais elle est déroutante. On ne sait pas trop quoi en penser, on reste avec des questions, un sentiment d’inachevé.

One of the most engaging and interesting dramas in 2025
It's worth watching. It's entirely different from other boring dramas, boasting a unique plot. The main cast performance is very realistic. I really loved their acting. The only thing that I felt uncomfortable watching was the abuse and beating scenes. Kim yoo Jung deu um arraso na atuação, e todos os atores estão fazendo o drama incrível.
Bem, eu já conhecia a Kim yoo Jung em outros trabalhos como backstreet rookie, my demon, e o drama que ela fez com o Bogum, e eu já sabia que ela atuava super bem, mas nesse de fato ela está atuando como uma personagem complexa e difícil de ler muita das vezes apesar dela ter um padrão, a relação entre o arco de redenção que nós telespectadores queremos adivinhar faz com que busquemos entender o desenvolvimento da personagem em si, inclusive ela não pisca e isso é pouco reparado é muito difícil ela piscar em momentos de intimidação e isso é muito foda para um atriz ela atua muito bem. Contudo não é fácil entender a personagem a fundo fui fazer uma relação com webtoon mas sabemos que adaptação se difere do webtoon para vender ao público, masss sei que ele segue uma linha de de raciocínio parecido do drama kkkkkk isso pode ser um problema. Voltando tudo do drama por si só contém atores com atuações cativantes que de fato te prende o drama inteiro. O Kim youngdae tá de parabéns foi o primeiro drama que consegui ver a atuação dele ser mais valorizada. A atriz mirim que caramba ela foi incrível e me lembra a yoojung pequena, realmente é um espetáculo. Além de outros atores como o pai de Ahjin e a colega inimiga de classe dela. Os antagonistas fazem o drama ser agitado e então eles merecem uma salva de palmas pelo trabalho. Ainda está em andamento mas eu tô adorando ver.Was this review helpful to you?
Dear X: One of 2025’s Most Promising Dramas
If this drama doesn’t end up being the best Korean thriller of 2025, it’s definitely going to be one of them.It’s literally something we’ve never seen before — seriously, it’s incredible.
Yoo Jung's acting is seriously on another level - I actually got scared of her lolll
(I’m writing this after watching the first four episodes released.)
(NO SPOILERS)
It’s about a girl (an only child) who grew up without love her entire life. She’s a sociopath who manipulates people to take down her rivals, turn them into victims, and climb her way to “the top.”
Things you should know before watching:
- It contains sensitive themes like murder and bullying.
- Some episodes (starting from episode 4) have intense violence.
- There’s absolutely no happiness so far — it’s just pure disaster after disaster lol.
In short:
If you’re watching only for Kim Yoo-jung because you liked My Demon, or for Hwang In-youp because you liked True Beauty, I wouldn’t recommend it — the tone is much darker and totally different from their previous works.
But if you’ve seen other thrillers before, this one is definitely worth watching.

Una visione deterministica che non evolve, ribadita fino allo sfinimento.
Ho deciso di droppare la serie dopo quattro episodi, tornando solo sul dodicesimo per capire come avrebbero gestito il percorso del personaggio principale. Devo riconoscere che Dear X è un prodotto confezionato in modo impeccabile, pensato per valorizzare al massimo la bravissima Kim Yoo-jung e un cast che funziona davvero bene. La regia, l’estetica e il ritmo sono curati e professionalmente solidi.Il problema, per me, è altrove.
La trama e soprattutto la sceneggiatura mi sono sembrate un esercizio di marketing narrativo: più che raccontare una storia complessa, sembrano costruite per dimostrare che Kim Yoo-jung – solitamente a suo agio in ruoli luminosi e positivi – può sostenere anche personaggi oscuri, negativi, “maledetti” fino al midollo. E questo, chiariamolo, lei lo fa: è brava, credibile, magnetica.
Il peccato è che, per mostrarci quanto sia convincente nel ruolo della “dannata senza redenzione”, la serie punta tutto su un unico concetto ripetuto in modo quasi claustrofobico: se nasci con una genetica sbagliata e genitori pessimi, sei destinato a fare male per tutta la vita, a prescindere da chi ti tende una mano o prova a volerti bene gratuitamente.
Una visione deterministica che non evolve, non si sfuma e, anzi, viene ribadita fino allo sfinimento. Personalmente trovo questo approccio narrativo povero, fatalista e incapace di generare vero coinvolgimento emotivo. Dopo un po’, è chiaro dove si andrà a parare e nulla prova davvero a mettere in discussione quella premessa.
In conclusione: Dear X non fa per me. Riconosco la qualità del pacchetto e la performance della protagonista, ma non la consiglierei, soprattutto a chi cerca una storia che esplori il male con profondità, ambiguità e possibilità di cambiamento, e non come una condanna genetica scritta in partenza.
