Tantai jin and xiwu are now one of my fav characters in a cdrama
I loved the pairing of Bailu and Luo Yunxi in Love is sweet, but TTEOTM tops in terms of everything!

loved and hate it
I love the drama, but I have mixed feelings about how it ended. This is the first C-Drama that made me cry at the end and left me wishing for a different conclusion. Everything about it was amazing, from the story to the acting to the music. The only reason I rate its "rewatch value" at 4 out of 5 stars is that I know I won't get the same feeling I had while watching it for the first time. Even if I waited a year to rewatch it, I would still remember every moment of it.Was this review helpful to you?
This is one of the best xianxia drama I have watched in the recent years!
The first episode was so typical of xianxia drama and I was struggling to finish watching it. I also did not particularly fancy the cover page of the drama (on Netflix) which shows TJJ’s face only. But I was so thankful I didn’t give up as the drama turned out to be so good! I was captivated by the lead actor Luo Yun Xi’s acting of the character TJJ/ MY and the Denon lord. Also very impressed by Chen Du Ling as YBC (I hated her when she did all the evil things) and Deng Wei as XL. Bai Lu also brought out the character of YXW pretty well. Just the acting by the actors and actresses make the drama worth watching. There were some illogical parts and very obvious villain characters which make some parts of the story predictable but these are quite minor and I would still rate the story as good and coherent. The CGI, customs and OST are great too. However, thought the music could be better, e.g specific ost / remixes ost to support specific scenes, like what was done well in Love like the Galaxy. Was this review helpful to you?
still on episode 14
hear me out, I love this cdraa!!!, if you enjoyed and was immersed with lost you forever, you’ll definitely like this one. My feels, love, emotions for till the end of the moon is beyond the love, feels, and emotions I had with lost you forever. I can’t put into words exactly, but by episode 3 I was instantly hooked, whirl wind of emotions, one minute I’m laughing, having butterflies on my stomach, weeping, in anger. so many emotions with this series, it’s that good! I should know because I am quite picky & very hard to please but I really love this series from acting, to the cast, well except for the elder sister she gets into my nerves lol you’ll have to watch it to know what I’m pertaining too wink*Was this review helpful to you?
A very entertaining story
I have watched this drama twice and loved it each time. Generally I can move on from shows but I keep finding myself going back to Till the End of the Moon edits. If you have read the novel and are expecting the same thing from the show, although there are certain scenes that are the same and although the premise is basically the same, they are very different, which I assume is due to censorship. If you plan to watch I also recommend taking into consideration if you can take unrealistic stuff seriously because I know people who found the whole thing funny and cringy because they couldn’t take it seriously. I happen to love taking things seriously though so this became and remains one of my favorite dramas. Was this review helpful to you?
Lost its way
June 2025Epic fantasy story of survival, revenge, love, hate, abuse, and eveything in-between, plus travelling in time, and dream worlds.
A sumptuous watch, with very good CGI, costumes, makeup and sets. A beautiful cast too and plenty of characters.
It started well and got straight into things, laying the plot's foundations. It is quite bloody at times; I don't think I've ever seen characters cough up blood (something cultivators do when their energy, or qi, is damaged, or they over-exert themselves) as much, in one drama, in my life!
Unfortunately, it started to stall for me. The flip between different incarnations of the main characters when in different lives, was somewhat clumsily handled. This confused me at times, although I did find my attention flagging, so perhaps that's my fault.
Whilst strong, focussed and undeniably beautiful, given her remit, I found the attitude of the FL character (Li Su Su / Ye Xi Wu, played by Bai Lu) to her 'target', character Tantai Jin (Luo Yun Xi), really frustrating.
After travelling back in time, she ends up as his wife; a nasty, malicious character, in a miserable marriage. It has to be assumed they looked the same, as no reference was made to this. She is nothing like that person, and so her behaviour towards him and others is very different. This is blamed on good old memory loss.
On the one hand she's thinking that he could be prevented from turning into a devil, or rather the Demon King, and on the other, it's that she has to kill him. The story see-saws back and forth on this, and that irritated me.
Given Tantai Jin's backstory, it didn't surprise me he lacked emotion and a moral compass, one day becoming the revenge driven Demon King. As his wife has 'changed', however, he very slowly begins to see and respond to her differently, as she treats him better. It gives hope he could be saved if nurtured.
However, instead of building on this, and even though she sees the hell, poor conditions, humiliation, and abuse he's lived with since being a child, she has almost zero empathy. It was startling. I disliked her character immensely at those times.
We then get this same roller-coaster of hate/love/kill/save, throughout the drama. Almost all his evil reactions stem from her poor choices, lack of communication, and deception.
Key nasty characters (and there are more than a few), get listened to and have influence, time and again. It's infuriating. The capacity of some characters to forgive, is both unfulfilling and utterly misplaced. One in particular, regardless of her atrocious crimes, ends up walking about and back in the thick of things, like nothing happened.... in more than one of her guises!
There is a lot of tragedy, but I only got really moved in episodes depicting Tantai Jin's early life; his mistreatment and his numerous betrayals by people he trusted.
That's the main reason Li Su Su / Ye Xi Wu's character didn't add up. She could have changed him, but instead fuelled his mistrust, jealousy (caused by that mistrust) and evil thoughts, by lying to and deceiving him, so many times. She does make a sacrifice, but even then, her poor handling of it all later, ruins it.
We end up kind of back where we started, but earlier in that time. Sadly, past mistakes are not learned from, nothing from tge oast is shared, as Li Su Su stays silent, and we get an ending that I thought predictable. Certainly not satisfying.
I enjoyed a lot of it, but will be perfectly honest in that it was one of my favourite C-drama actors, Luo Yun Xi, that kept me invested. I find him stunning to watch, as he has great screen presence and rarely, if ever, overacts.
At certain times I found the soundtrack too loud, swamping the dialogue. If I didn't watch with subtitles, it would have spoiled my viewing.
This drama could have been brilliant, but sadly fell short due to the poor writing. It is still worth a look though, as it's otherwise wonderfully put together, with a great cast and commanding characters.

This fantasy cdrama is a MASTERPIECE ♾️/10
When I first watched Till the End of the Moon, I was blown away. This is by far the best cdrama I’ve ever watched. I didn’t expect to be so drawn to these characters, Tantai Jin and Su. It wasn’t a surprise that this cdrama had so much amazing chemistry between the leads, top-notch production, great acting, and phenomenal casting. After I finished the drama, I found out about the novel, which was also very well received. The directors did an amazing job showcasing the three different lives and marriages. It felt like I was watching multiple storylines in one, and that’s what made this cdrama (for me) untouchable.
This drama is so good that I’ve been thinking about watching it a second time just to see if there were any scenes I might have missed. Usually, if I watch a drama more than once, it becomes one of my ultimate favorites.
I understand that some fans were upset about not getting their “happy ending” like in the novel, but at least during the cliffhanger it was shown that Tantai Jin will come back to Su and their daughter. So, in order for me to feel satisfied with a happy ending for my favorite rollercoaster-ride cdrama couple, I read the last chapters of the novel and I was satisfied.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi work together in many more dramas in the future. I honestly can’t get enough of their incredible chemistry. This cdrama is truly a masterpiece.

A tragic love story with stunning visuals
I really enjoyed for its beautiful cinematography and graphics that are absolutely a feast for the eyes. The drama shines in showing a tragic love story, but honestly, I got frustrated with the main leads due to their constant misunderstandings and lack of communication. It was sometimes hard to watch their relationship struggle because of these avoidable issues. Still, the emotions and tension they created felt real, and the visual details made the whole experience captivating. If you like palace dramas with deep emotions and gorgeous visuals, this one is worth a watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Roller coaster that’s worth every moment
The plot line is wonderful (but I could strangle the sister), the special effects & costumes are excellent and the on screen chemistry between Bai Lu and Lou Yun Xi is mind blowing - the longing looks (ok, there is the odd eye ball dagger thrown in too) and bedroom scenes are really convincing. There is joy, sadness, laughter and well rounded character development (yes even the sister)
What’s not to like.
Would I watch it again? I have

Lowkey Disappointed
I started watching this with expectations, and now I understand they may have been too high.I got bored around episode 25, finishing this was a chore.
I loved the actors, but the story dragged. All the miscommunications and betrayals got too much. I needed more balance, more fun times, more love. Idk, not my favourite.

mini mini mini spoiler that idk if it even counts as one
I read a section of a review on this that basically sums up the character of Tantai Jin: "THEY MADE HIM UNAPOLOGETIC, not unhinged but still the perfect amount of evil. There's just something believably sinister, unhinged, creepy and scary about him. Tantai jin is soooo creepy!!! I can't explain in but the way that man looks, moves his body, flickering his hands and speaks is soo strangely different, still you cant stop watching him. His face changes from innocently handsome to creepy af handsome in SECONDS according to his mood." This part of the review is spitting facts. Luo Yunxi absolutely served with this role. Also, the chemistry between Yunxi and Bai Lu was off the charts. Every time they were in the same frame, their chemistry is palpable. The backstory of Tantai Jin being born evil was not brushed over: he was born that way, so that was his destiny. The romance between Tantai Jin and Li Susu was fantastic. Trust when I say this: you will not regret watching this. The visuals of the leads are serving, even a secondary couple of Pian Ran (Sun Zhen Ni) and Ye Qing Yu (Geng Yeting/Eddy) was amazing. The one grain of salt however was that absolute b**ch Ye Bing Chang/Mo Nu (Chen Du Ling). Idk why Xiao Lin (Deng Wei) still loved her after all she did. She was pure evil to the core. Anyways, with that aside, I highly recommend :)Was this review helpful to you?
