High Production Value!
First of all, let me write this review as someone who already read and finished the novel. The plotline so far has been very good and is very consistent with the novel. Some might say, the actor looks too young, well they're supposed to represent a college student, of course, they have to be young. Need I remind you that the character here is of a college student and a young businessman?In terms of acting, I was pleasantly surprised at one actor, in particular, Nunew's acting was very good and believable for a rookie actor, and no I don't mean the struggle acting that you usually find, he's actually decent (mind you I stan Nadao actors so yes I know what good acting looks like).
For other supporting actors I can't say the same, some are still stiff but I'm willing to see if they will improve.
The main actors have really good chemistry and I mean good chemistry because, in the novel, Lian's character IS SUPPOSED to act aloof in front of Nu Kuea at least for a while, that's the whole point of the story, why you ask? that will be revealed in the latter part.
Now moving on to the next part, the cinematography. So far I've only seen good shots. The color grading, camera angle and lighting are all well done. The interior design used in every place shown in the series is also so far so good.
I try to write this review as objectively as I can because i have no experience with these actors in the past. All in all, this is a feel-good series, one with a cliche plot, but is very excellently done. If you're looking for a light series to enjoy with good production value, this one is a good candidate!
p.s. The arranged marriage was never forced upon the main leads, they have actually been in a lot of situation where the family tell them that those aren't serious and they should do what they wanna do. Whether or not it is problematic is all up to individual interpretation.

Honest Opinions
Honestly I don't understand why everyone is being so harsh with the reviews.I mean its not a perfect series but I feel like it fulfilled its purpose perfectly fine, I'll admit i did need to wait for episode 12 to come out before watchung episode 11 but thats just because I was scared it was gonna stop on a cliff hanger and wanted to avoid myself from thinking abouf it the whole time...
Zee's acting when I tell you that man conveyed every emotion perfectly and just made you feel everything as if you where his character, the depth of his acting skills go deeper than the ocean, Mans amazing, I was pleasantly surprised and just overall very impressed with Zee's acting skills. I give him a 10/10!
I feel like yous should give it a shot for yourselves and decide whether or not its a good show or not because if im being honest there are slow parts but they are worth the watch aswell they really help with getting you hyped for the next episode or scene.

Liked it but....
Both the main lead couple and second lead couple have a very immature relationship. Yi and lian both don't know how to respect their partner's boundaries. Both the couples are always hiding things from each other, it was quite frustrating to watch. Kuea and Diao's docile behaviour was also very irritating and unnatural. And was thinking of giving it a 4 rating.Chemistry between the couple was good and that's why I am giving it a 8.5 rating and that's also one of the reason I could finish the series. Another reason is it's glamorous cinematography.
Storyline was good so it could have been better directed.
The series talk about gay marriage not being accepted by thai laws, and sends a strong message through the couple that all love has the equal right to dignity and freedom. This was my 1st bl drama where I came to know, like many societies, homosexuality is also not accepted in Thailand. As there are so many thai bl series, previously I used to think they have a very progressive society but later on I came to know that in award ceremonies, the gay couples are nominated under imaginary couple award, which is very disturbing as they are very much real couples.

Cutest romantic comedy, non-toxic BL with great music!
I think this is the best and cutest Thai BL I've ever seen 🥰 Just a feel good rom com, nothing more nothing less. You can't compare it to the other dramatic ones with lots of fighting, violence and gangs... Cutie Pie isn't like that. There's no killing or stabbing or toxic gangster love. This series is more of a slice of life kind of love, very relaxing to watch. There should be more normal and low key BL's like this.Things I liked:
In the trailer you can already see how great the production for this drama was. Just like the actors said, it looks as high production and cinematicly filmed as Korean dramas, which makes it very high quality.
The music is amazing! There's a lot of catchy songs sung by NuNew, he has a great voice. It really added more touch to the series and stays in your head. I loved it when he sang or drummed, it made him look extra cool!
There's also a lot of cute romantic scenes and lots of kissing! hehe... definitely worth watching ;)
Zee's acting was spot on! He portrayed his role really well and intimidating. Exactly how a business man should be. I'd be scared of him too lol. Zee was so serious here, not like in real life at all. Because he's really funny irl!
And I love the other couples side-stories as well. But nothing had more chemistry than Zee and Nunew ♥ As they are dating irl, you can really notice the love and chemistry in this series! They showed it so well, I felt their love.
The only thing I didn't like:
In my personal opinion, about the storyline... I think they made Kuea's role a bit too bratty. Through the whole series he was a fickle moody little boy in my opinion. Especially when Hia is so perfect and nice to him! Even I got mad at Kuea... But Hia never does, he is the perfect boyfriend. But maybe you'll have another view on it as you watch it. It's just my opinion, not a fact.
Overall, this is my favorite Thai BL so far ♥ and my favorite couple as well. Give it a watch if you wanna relax or laugh! :)

Worth the watch.
I hesitated to start this one due to many negative comments.But iam a brave girl(lol) so said to give it a try after has ended.And i did very well i must say.I really dont get all the hate comments and the bad reviews.Ive read about toxicity and silly script and even bad acting.I guess ive watched another series then.I respect all opinions obviously but i have my own too.I didnt see any toxicity,any bad acting either.Of course the story is not flawless but i found it rather unique.I was a bit confused about the story of the secondary couple but oh well,wasnt a bummer after all.I agree about the non communication between the main couple but cmon!whos relationship in RL is perfect?Many said Lian was a manipulator and kinda abusive!Really???i saw a man inlove,caring and over protecting.Yes in his own way but still!
And a funny comment to end this review.I found Lian more h*rny than Fiat(Don't Say No) :-)

Cutie Pie – A BL Series That Grows on You and Becomes Unforgettable
I actually finished watching this series wayback 2023, but I am only writing a review now! Well, just let me be. HAHAHHAWhen I first came across Cutie Pie, I was intrigued by the synopsis, so I decided to give it a shot. At first, the initial episodes felt a little awkward for me, but I kept watching—and I’m so glad I did! As I got deeper into the series and learned more about the actors, I found myself completely hooked. The story, the chemistry, and the performances were all so engaging that I couldn’t stop watching.
The casting in Cutie Pie was spot on! Every actor suited their character perfectly, making the story feel even more natural and immersive. But for me, Zee and Nunew completely stole the show. Their acting was top-tier, and their on-screen chemistry was undeniable. And let’s talk about their kissing scenes—those were next level! Every moment between them felt incredibly real, to the point that I actually believed they were a real couple while watching. And now that they truly are together in real life, it makes me even happier to support them forever!
Watching Cutie Pie was an emotional roller coaster in the best way possible. It had its sweet moments, intense drama, and just the right amount of heart-fluttering romance. If you’re looking for a BL series that will catch your attention and make you fall in love with its characters, this is definitely one to check out.
I’m beyond excited for Zee and Nunew’s upcoming projects, The Next Prince and Zomvivor! I can’t wait to see more of them together on screen, and I’ll be supporting them every step of the way.

One of the best BL's I've watched!
I've watched many BL shows and I've got to say that this one is by far the best! True, the plot occasionally dragged on but apart from that it was amazing! The characters fit the roles and the music and scenery was always on point. I think what was so good about this shows was that it had a range of emotions and types of scenes involved. These ranged from love to distress, from happiness and excitement to sadness. I didn't get bored once while watching this show!I wouldn't recommend watching this show if you're under 17-18 years of age because it does have some 'adult' type scenes and quite a lot of kissing.
I wasn't disappointed once while watching Cutie Pie and will definitely rewatch it :)

This show was a Cutie Pie
I saw Cutie Pie when it came out in 2022 and I still enjoy it even rewatching it a year later. Everything about the show didn’t disappoint each couple were so cute. I will say I probably have a lot to talk about so there might be spoilers so I will just tell you that just in case. The whole plot is Kuea and Hia Lian were an arranged marriage since they were younger because their parents want them to be married since they were little so Hia watched Kuea ever since he was young and even when he was a baby. They even moved with each other, but when Kuea is around Lian he needs to act a certain way and even got tired of acting that way that they got into a fight and Lian when so far as to calling him a Annabelle doll and that was the end for Kuea so they put their marriage on a break. Lian seemed to not care while Kuea took it seriously and went to perform at his friends bar and was under the name kirin and wore a motorcycle helmet to cover his identity and when Lian found out about that he went their himself to the bar to find Kuea and take him home and Kuea got drunk and went with Lian, but kept telling him that he looked like him but seemed nicer than him and that’s when while they were taking him home they kissed in the backseat and Foei is the best driver because he’s too busy watching them than driving and then saw Kuea’s secret home and with all the photoshopped photos of them together and felt bad. Lian ended up making him come home and tried to get his forgiveness and did get it, but until their was another problem which was Kuea found out about his family going bankrupt, but turns out that it was so Lian can take care of their money and they got back together again and support each other until the end and ended the show with them being engaged.Khondiao and Hia Yi had a much different story from Kuea and Lian which seemed more complicated than them. Khondiao is Kueas best friend so of course they gossip about their Hia’s, but I feel Diao has a meaner Hia because Yi seems like he will never be happy. The sad part about Diao is that he feels his life will always be lonely and sad because his name means “lonely” and he had that mindset especially around Hia Yi until Yi started to care about Diao which was buying him a dog, and loving him. Even though Yi gave Diao a horrible yelling and even made him cry he regretted it and wanted to change that when it was their steamy scene Diao said “Let’s just start our relationship all over again”.
Syn and Nuer were actually so cute and it was my first time seeing Tutor and Yim and I became obsessed with them after cutie pie because they were so cute together. They are totally different characters from normal shows which is Syn being a holy person and even lives at the temples and I think wants to become a Monk and even knows all the sayings and everything and even know how to make everything holy. While Nuer is just a normal school boy and while Syn thought he was flirting with Kuea he was actually flirting with Syn and even helped him design everything with their cars because their engineer students. I literally was obsessed when they kissed at the end and Nuer never stopped and I will never forget that one scene were Nuer and Syn were playing soccer and Yim kind of landed on that area on Nuer and even was sweating when Nuer took off his shirt. Anyways I really recommend Cutie pie it was such a cute show.

A comfort series
I got intrigued by the trailer as it was first time ever in any bl series where arrange marriage concept was shown involving two males who were also childhood sweethearts. Both of these are my favourite concepts so I decided to give it a try. And I would say i was not disappointed because it was what I wanted. I was happy to watch a series where there was no cheating no annoying girl forcefully trying to separate two mls because she like one of them. The problem between them was miscommunication if they had communicated earlier then drama wouldn't have streched till 12 episodes but thats what we call drama. Another thing which I like in this series is they didn't break up traditionally like every bl series which is famous as 11 episode curse or breakup episode. They have communication problems , trust issues still they didn't leave each other. As I have read the novel so may be thats why I have a bit more clear understanding of it then others who are giving negative reviews. About arrange marriage Keua grandfather and Lian's father were Kind of a boss subordinate as well as very good friends . His grandfather business was starting declining a bit when he was alive. He saw the business potential in his subordinate and his son so he decided to handover his grandson as well as business to the family whom he trusted the most. And that's what Lian also told Kuea. As one reviewer mentioned Lian told keau that he loved him from they day he was born. He wasn't referring to romantic love. When first time Lian saw kuea Kuea grandfather and everyone around him told him to take care of Kuea and kuea will be Lian's friend. So he first liked and loved him as a friend , companion, later those feelings turn into love. Yi Diao story wasn't developed much as Cutie Pie was based on Cutie pie novel which has only Kuea Lian story. Yi Diao didn't even have this much part that they were shown in series those wanted to see more of them can watch naughty babe which is adapted according to novel. The chemistry, acting music, was wonderful. So don't be just believe on reviews do watch one ep or 2 and decide for yourself you wanted to watch it or not.Was this review helpful to you?
'You dont have to be perfect, You just have to be yourself'
I don't cry at shows easily. It takes a lot to pull a tear out of me. This one made me cry 3 times because it got personal.I can understand the more negative responses because I partly agree with them. There were times it got a little cheesy or what made Kuea feel like he had to be a certain way for Lian to love him? But after finishing, I just wanted to rewatch it again, and when I did, I instantly fell in love and my 7.5 rating went to 9.
The story is pretty touching, just in a typical Thai BL way. If you've never lived with the pressure of having to keep up a fake persona to keep others happy, then it might get a little lost.
What's the point of your life? Who are you living for? When you live a false identity, who are you really pleasing, and is it worth it?
In this case, it's not only about LGBT identity, it's also about personal identity. Just wanting to be loved for who you are. No fluff. No glaze. Just raw and real.
It turns out, that both were pretending for each other but I would have liked to see more of why. Kuea isn't a soft as he appears and Lian isn't as cold. Both love each other and when they see the true version of the other, they fall more in love because authenticity will trump every time. They're insecure, they're can't talk about their feelings and are awkward with each other.
Lian just wants to make Kuea happy but doesn't know how because Kuea just smiles and nods all the time. He loves Kuea but doesn't know how because Kuea keeps his real self hidden. It's hard to love someone like that when all your efforts are met with an expressionless glaze. I understand his frustration.
I felt this one. I've lived it, so it hit me hard and only strengthens my determination to be real.
I did feel that both 'tops' had that daddy dom feel but it did soften out as the characters opened up.
I also really loved the music in the show, which I don't normally so an extra point for that.
Perhaps a more biased review but it is what it is.

The actors are brilliant
I really liked the story. It was very interesting, and I can't say enough about the actors. Max and Nat are adorable together, and I would like to see more series with them, because they match each other💕💕As characters I can say that I really liked Foei and P'Jay/Gemini.
I liked seeing the actor who played P'Jay (I don't know his name) again.
I hope to see the actors together in another drama, because I like the energy they provide together.Btw, I loved finding out Max and I are the same zodiac sign 💕

esta serie va de menos a más :)
No se me da bien escribir en inglés, por lo tanto, esta review será escrito en mi lengua materna que es el español.Tengo que confesar que los primeros capítulos me costaron verlos, no pasaba nada interesante y los problemas de la pareja protagonista no se solucionaban, seguían siendo lo mismo, y a mi me llegó a aburrir un poco.
Pero la cosa mejoro a partir del capítulo 8 y el capítulo final, me hizo llorar. Se van solucionando las cosas, porque hay que hablar las cosas, afrontarlas y no tener miedo, porque tu pareja está (y estará) en los buenos y en los malos momentos.
al final, la moraleja de esta serie es que hay que aprender a teneramor propio y luego el amor por los demás 💜
