Idk what to say it gives the same vibe , chill suburban life , same feelings towards life, world -weariness in characters but not minding the little joyful moments

Both drama set on Jeju Island exploring themes of love , life's trails and human connection and highlighting the complexities of life and relationships .

Iam not saying here both dramas are exact copies of each other but If you love WLGYT then I'm pretty sure you gonna love Our Blues

Both Our Blues and A Year-End Medley portrays its story from a multi perspectives angle. The main characters each get to tell their own story and overcome their own obstacles. In our blues the characters are all connected through Jeju island while in A Year-End Medley the characters are all connected through a hotel.

small town vibe, endearing characters, main leads gently providing good performances, an entirely normal amount of secondhand embarrassment at everyone's shenanigans, (also wrestling, probably leading to looking up the rules on the internet because who knew that was actually interesting), appealing side characters with their own interests and problems, character growth

Healinggg!!
Despite that our blues focus on several main characters, will love in spring shares the same vibe:
The world didn't stop at said inconvenience.it will be okay !

Similar storytelling styles.

Both of these dramas are realistically paced. Without too much structure, the storylines naturally shift focus between characters relationships and perspectives, slowly revealing more information about the characters situations. “The Package” story is told in a vacation setting, focusing more on relationships. While, “Our Blues takes place in a small town, focusing on both relationships and individual reflection.

So this might be very far fetched in terms of similarity but I did and do get the same feeling when watching both dramas. Both revolve around a small group of friends that have known each other for many years and that were involved with one another at some point. Things happen and they grow apart and things happen that make them come back together and try to work through it. There are many different storylines that somehow are all interlinked. Some will make you angry and some will make you feel sad. There is a lot of healing needed and a lot of hurt to go through.
And both dramas are brutally realistic.

- I know that thye are definitely not related a lot, but they both have some similar things
- Both are based off of mental health
- Both have a different story each episode for different people
- Both are 2022 South Korean tv shows

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

If you’re enjoying Heavenly Ever After, try watching Our Blues.
It’s a slice-of-life K-drama with a mix of emotional stories and light moments. The cast includes veteran and younger actors, and it explores love, healing, and relationships across generations. Han Ji Min is also in this one, and her story will definitely touch your heart. Just like Heavenly Ever After, it beautifully shows that every stage of life has its own kind of magic.

Similarities: Community living and mundane, rural life aspects + Main characters with sad pasts / Storytelling heavily relying on flashbacks. Both shows are also not afraid of getting dark at times alongside their relatively lighthearted undertone.

Differences: The Good Bad Mother is focused more on a specific set of characters with a continuous story, while Our Blues had a proper ensemble cast with each story arc being 1-2 episodes long.

The stories and styles are not the same, but I feel like if you like Our Blues, you may also like Go Ahead. Both address the complex emotional baggage that comes with family or lack of.

Go Ahead focuses more on the romance though and there are clear leads, but both are well done family dramas.
