Sweet and refreshing ⭑☂☁︎
It was so sweet and refreshing, the story is maybe not something new but how they portrayed the characters it was really something interesting and fun, the chemistry is so good and the visuals!! The visuals are insane also i loved the styling especially Bailu's clothes and styling, the pacing was okay like many cdramas with many eps, the good thing is the relationship of the six people every couple ad his own way to begin and deal with.It was so good and the important thing is that the rewatch value is so high for me.

it's was confusing
i like both the actresses and actors. I like the 4 couple ship but they had barely any communication going in the relationship department. Also, they overuse the phone calls cause it always interrupt the romantic moments. I like Bai Lu and Dylan Wang but this drama was a horror show. It also stretched the plot to 36 eps the whole thing could have been done in half. The whole 36 eps were so long and hellish i couldn't enjoy the drama i had to skip here and there because i wanted to know how the drama would end. I like the ending but not the drama just one ep i liked out of all the eps and that was the ending. Was this review helpful to you?

A lil fun but frustrating watch but great cast!
The story is a bit cliché except the fact that for the first time I felt bad for the male lead and not the FL which was unique in a way since we're talking about a domineering CEO char here. I like the characterization of the ML he is very human like. Realistic. As for the female lead..... Well if it wasn't Bailu acting I'd really have hated her so much. I see her as a self centered and a selfish character. The thing is I would have let it go if she made sense sometimes but welp it is questionable how she is an actual journalist who are very much trained on reading the atmosphere and leading conversation?I would have let it go if like it's because she was nervous but still there were moments even a normal person would know what not to say and what to avoid.... Besides the ML and FL the support chars were a lil chaotic especially the bestie. I love Peiyao but this gotta be her worst character so far and no it's not about the advices she gave it's the lack of story behind the character that made it cringey to watch. I'm guessing a lot of the back story was cut due to editing but the scrap they left truly was so bad. The couple were so badly done. The second supporting couple were better but also questionable in a way like how he suddenly chifted his affection to the lil neice all of a sudden just because of her disappearing on him.... Like he's supposed to be the oldest in the mls so I was expecting a more mature relationship with him tho I'm glad that he didn't cling to the FL and become a rival. Anyways there was a lot of loopholes in the story also professional wise it was boring and uninteresting maybe cuz i watched many heavily focused dramas on work that this felt very poorly done. I have to also add that scenes couldve been done better as in quality wise? I dunno how explain it but the quality wasn't top notch. When I saw the cast I thought the drama would definitely be high quality I had a lot of expectations and while it was fine to watch it was still a little disappointing plus the many ads added I just knew it was prolly treated like those idol dramas made to get money rather than anything else. I feel like they might have rushed it's production as well.... I just feel bad for the cast cuz all of them are such amazing actors I've known from previous works they deserved better! Was this review helpful to you?

A Corporate Rom-Com That’s All Fluff, Zero Substance
💼 WHY IT’S WATCHABLE:Bai Lu & Dylan Wang’s visuals – They look like a CEO and financial reporter should (even if the plot doesn’t always back it up).
The office tension – Early episodes nail the "enemies-to-lovers" bickering (before it fizzles).
That one elevator scene – You’ll know it when you see it (steamy by Cdrama standards).
🙄 THE "OKAY, BUT WHY?" MOMENTS:
The financial jargon – Thrown around like confetti with zero real-world logic.
The second couple – More chemistry than the leads, but wasted on a filler subplot.
The ending – Rushed like a last-minute PowerPoint presentation.
💸 THE "CORPORATE FANTASY" FACTOR:
CEO in a perfectly tailored suit – Because obviously he has time to model between mergers.
Reporter with zero deadlines – Her only job seems to be annoying Dylan Wang.
🎯 VERDICT:
"Like a LinkedIn profile come to life—pretty to look at, but don’t think too hard." Watch if: You love low-stakes fluff or Dylan Wang’s jawline. Skip if: You need plot coherence or feminist workplace rep.

A Gripping Tale of Love, cheating and hidden lessons.
It's a standout and fresh romcom drama that masterfully weaves together elements of romance, slight comedy and beautiful aesthetics, it has a rich character development a bit slow but worth the wait, stellar performances, and enjoyable story. It isn't just a story about love—it's a tribute to youthful ambition, national identity, and the courage it takes to fight for what one believes in.The main Character Zheng Shu yi shows that one can make mistakes in life, and lower his/her standard to the wrong people.. but life will give u the replacement as long as u move on from toxic people.

Over hyped and wasted opportunity
I was so eager to watch this drama mainly for the actors, even though its a typical CEO cliche storyline with cold, arrogant ceo and cheerful, clumsy yet kind Female lead. But alas!!! It was utterly disappointing.Just as one of the reviewers pointed out there is innumerable investments talks and other finance related topics which totally wastes a lot of screen time.
Although i am a fan of Bai Lu and she has a lot of cute, innocent yet witty jabs and expressions, the character portrayed is totally dumb. Despite being a pro at her work, forget love life, she's even clueless about basic affection . She keeps following advice from her friend who has a messy life herself. She can go to any lengths for her work including relentless, awkward flirting but when its time to be honest and apologize, she shuts herself out.
In contrast, the stone faced male lead played by Dylan Wang has an arrogant yet good , forgiving character. I would still prefer watching him in historical series.
The only saving grace are these two actors and their chemistry especially in the later part of the series. I conveniently skipped a lotttt of scenes just to only watch their interaction.
All in all, its simply ok for one time watch with lots of fast forwards....

Very Odd Show
I was excited about this show because I am a fan of Bai Lu, Wang He Di, and Wei Zhe Ming but this show was very odd and disappointing. The overall story was all over the place and I don't think the best actors in the world could save this script.I felt like most of the casting was out of place. They didn't seem to fit the roles or the characters were just poorly written. There were many instances in the show where the characters just didn't lack consistency with the type of character they were portrayed as and thus their dialogue, choices and actions didn't make logical sense. As an example, Bai Lu's character is this very smart, highly intutive, highly praised woman who is a top Financial Journalist, though she didn't seem to read situations very well. I guess they had to make her character very romantically awkward for the sake of the typical domineering CEO C-Drama trope.
Production wise, this show wasn't the best. Nothing to write home about with the visuals, music, lighting, or costumes. Pretty basic, definitely not a high budget but that doesn't always make or break a show.
For me, this show didn't have a clear direction on the plot and seems like a bunch of random things were just happening to the point where there wasn't any clear character building, growth, story growth, etc. I was at a point of just watching it to watch them because I'm a fan.
I would not rewatch this show nor recommend it to others. If you are fan of the main cast, check it out at your own discretion.

It okay thats love
I've been anticipating this drama since the announcement of its release. However, after watching the first episode, I found it cringe and decided to hold off until all the episodes are available. Despite reading mixed reviews, I'm contemplating whether to watch it, especially considering the talented cast. Some comments on MDL suggested that episodes 30 and beyond are better, so I skipped episodes 1-31 and went straight to episode 32, but its so cringe. I'm having existential crisis whether to continue or not.The script... I couldn't believe the dialogue coming from Bailu and Dylan's mouth. However, having just finished SOKP and being impressed by Bai Lu's performance there, and being a fan of Dylan Wang from TLBFD, I thought I might as well continue watching since I have some spare time. After a few more episodes, I think I'm starting to understand Shuyi's character. It's indeed a complex character. As the saying goes, love can lead to foolish decisions. Even a great journalist can make poor choices in love. But that's part of being human. Love can make us vulnerable, and in this case, perhaps a bit like a drama queen. Although, I find Shiyan's character a little unrealistic in this story.
Since I've only watched selected episodes, I don't think I'm qualified to give a comprehensive review. However, for those wondering whether to watch this drama, my advice is to approach it with an open heart and mind. Acknowledge its flaws, and you might find some enjoyment. For drama enthusiasts, a good drama is a gem, and even a less impressive one can still offer some entertainment.

Too cringe.
I liked it at first but there are too many cringey lines and scenes that I find so ew. It didn’t give what it was supposed to give (???) Shu Yi is a capable and smart woman but she’s too cringey sometimes and act out of character. They told us that Shi Yan didn’t inherit his dad’s company because he had a different mind but all I see is him being pushed around by his dad’s friends like it doesn’t make sense to me. Towards the end, I wasn’t focusing on watching it. It really is not worth it.Was this review helpful to you?

Another bad RomCom with bad acting, don't waste your time.
Only for Love is a rom-com about a cold CEO and a financial reporter.I watched about 8 episodes of "Only for Love"; don't waste your time. Here are the reasons why I am dropping it:
- Only For Love: The plot is boring, and the character Bai Lu playing is weak and a waste of her talents.
- Dylan Wang is not convincing as a cold CEO. There is no on-screen chemistry between the lead actors.
- For Dylan Wang's fan, I am sorry, but to me, he is a one-dimension actor who can't act.
I have wasted almost 8 hours with something so boring and unreal. Just because Dylan Wang is popular in LBFD doesn't mean that he should be teamed up with everyone, even the good actress.
I heard he will team up with my favorite actress, Zhao Lusi. I hope it will not disappoint me. I am dropping this drama because the plot is stupid, and the ML does not do justice to team up with Bai Lu (one of my favorite actresses.)
I give it a 5.0 rating because of the bad plot, acting, and production quality.

Good actors, awful script
Surely the most boring, unoriginal script with the most dysfunctional lead characters ever. The director also did a terrible job. There are so many terrific actors in this drama—I feel sorry for them.Xxxxxxxxxxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzxxxxxxxxzzzzzzzzzzxxxxzzzzzzzxxxxxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzxxxxxxxzzzzzzzxxxxzzzzzzzzzzzzzxzxxxxxxxxzzzzzzzzzzzxxxxxxxzzzzzzzzzxxxzxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzxxxxxxxxxzzzzzzzzzzxxzzzzzxzzzzxxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzxxxxzzzz I mean, what else is there to say besides I’m amazed that I made it to episode 9?

Could have been better
This drama had a depthless plot which spent more time on the business writing than on the romance. I feel like the supporting cast could have been given more to work with so that their relationships didn't seem so much like superficial filler. As much as I had a hard time believing in the implausible pairing of the younger ingenue with the older supporting lead, I did root for them but felt their journey could have been handled better, Instead we get a girl chasing a guy who keeps running away, until he gives up and decides to just be with her. No build up. It's exhausting and silly to watch them. The next supporting couple made no sense at all. We have two people who are crazy in love with each other, but are too scared to be honest with each other about their feelings. They love playing games with each other which is a waste of time. Nothing much was happening but when they finally do decide to give their romance a chance, they almost disappear.
The main leads/couple were the most perplexing. I was intrigued by their relationship, the build up took a good long, time and when they got together, it was great---except when she started acting like a bumbling idiot whenever he was around. I guess that was supposed to be her playful side, but it seemed completely at odds with her personality. The misunderstandings broke your heart, so seeing them get to a better place later on was a relief. I found the excessive time passage towards the end unnecessary and unfair to the storyline and only furthered my frustration with the writers.
Dylan Wang gets better with every passing drama. He is growing as an actor and I hope he continues to take more meaningful roles. The best show to date has been Fairy Loves Devil. He needs to hold out for better parts because they are out there. Bai Lu was amazing in Till the End of the Moon, I find her an intelligent actress, so I find her hard to watch when she has to play silly ingenues. There are younger actresses out there who can do that. I think she is beyond that now and should strive for roles with more depth.
In general, this should have been left to more creative writers. The entire plot was superficial and boring and I felt the actors were cheated out of something better.
