why?
WTF was that ending. I don't go into romcom to have an unhappy ending where the guy dies just before he was about to reunite with our MC and she spends years not knowing about it and resenting him. The contrived misunderstandings with the bffs stopping them from being together were only bearable if it all led to a happy ending! The genre shift came so completely out of nowhere I was just baffled and ended up checked out. It reeks of the romcom that didn't want to be like the other romcoms and just failed at being anything satisfying. Way to ruin the outstanding performances of your amazing, charismatic, and personable cast!Was this review helpful to you?
Movie has Retro Vibe..
I love a movie that makes me sob uncontrollably. This movie wasn't just romantic, it was generous and the characters had so much compassion for each other. Woon Ho loved Bo-ra so much and he did so much for her. Whenever he moved to New Zealand, I thought we was going to come back for Bo-ra. But then there was such an unexpected plot twist. I didn't expect it but most people probably did. The story was both tragic and loving. The actors did a wonderful job portraying the characters emotions. I've watched this movie twice now and will most likely watch it even more in the future. 10/10 would recommendWas this review helpful to you?

Sebenernya rating film ini 8.9/10, tapi karena di mdl gabisa bikin 8.9 dan KEJAUHAN kalo ditaro 8.5, jadinya tak bikin 9/10. Asli rek ini di menit awal - pertengahan full NYENGIRRR, ntar di pertengahan - ending baru cekat cekit dikit hati lu pada 😁😁😁😁💔 aku suka sinematografinya!!!!! Cantik bgt asli. Tonenya kuning tp ga kuning banget gitu(?) Jadi masih bisa enjoy & ga nyilauin mata. Quite aesthetic tho! Aku ga nonton trailernya, but i do hope something more dramatic for the ending 😅😅😅😅 kata org2 ini bikin nangis, kalo di aku jujur engga TAPI nyeseknya luar biasa 😅😅😅💔💔💔💔👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 jadi awal nonton itu aku ga expect apapun, except for the dramatic ending! Di awal tuh i udah ready buat nangis kejer but the ending says no to it so :]]]]] but its ok! I think its bc the girl is already an adult jadi ga dibikin terlalu dramatis.. dan sebenernya aku kurang puas gitu sama endingnya, kaya ada yg kurengggg gitu. noch nie in meinem leben habe ich so geweint ich kann und will das alles nicht mehr es ist alles so dumm ja ich hatte schon einen schlechten tag wieso schaue ich mir diesen film an er ist so schön und so blöd zugleich hab ernst einen fluss geheult es ist nicht mal lustig wäre er einfach nicht nach ding gegangen und geblieben nachdem sie ihre liebe gestanden hat dann wäre alles in ordnung und sie würden glücklich bis an ihr lebensende miteinander leben und zusammen alt werden oh mein gott !!!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?

This movie is a K-TRAUMA!!! ?
Most of the people have heard about it but doesn't watch it because IT HAS A SAD ENDING 😭 But trust me this one is good like the chemistry and type of vintage movie from my opinion. Watch it trust me i know it will make you cry but in life not only happy things happened sad also happened so why not try this one? Let's review it now*SPOILERS AHEAD*
This is a school drama. So there was this boy in the school who likes the girl but she likes his best friend. After some time she also started to like him. Girl's best friend also like the man lead and the female lead and her best friend argued on this thing. Before when this happened between female lead and her best friend, female lead , main lead, main lead's best friend and female lead's best friend went to amusement park. There the female lead and main lead sat together on roller coaster and main lead was scared of heights he only sat there because of the female lead there he also confesses his love and from there female lead start to develop feelings for him. They also used to do photography projects together because they were assigned together.
After some days, the male lead has to go abroad and both of them made promise to meet at the female lead's dad book shop at night but the female lead didn't came but the male lead waited whole night for her but she didn't came. Next day when he was going to catch his train the female lead came running towards him and said come back soon i love you and many more things.
After that she never heard from him after 40 years she found out that he was catching a flight back to Korea he died in a tragic accident 😭.
WHY DID I CUT MARKS IN WHICH THINGS?
LET'S TALK ABOUT IT.
1. STORY: I gave it a 9/10 because they both looked so good together and if you will watch the movie you will see how great their chemistry is!!!!!!! The moments they had in like it was just soo wholesomeeeeee!!!!!! I have no words now they are just soo cuteee!!!!! But...... i cuted 1 mark because of the sad ending 😭 okay don't let us remember that calm down.
2. ACTING/CASTING: I gave it 10/10 because every actors nailed and played their role so well FRR. The casting is also good like the pair of kim you jung and byeon woo seok. I NEVER IMAGINED THAT THEY WILL THAT GOOD!!!!!!!!!
3. OST: I don't much notice OSTs but there were only 1-2 OSTs because it was a movie i think but they were great that why is is a 10/10.
4. REWATCH VALUE: It was super good and amazing but making me cry also 😭 it's fine it's okay. But i prefer that i will not rewatch it because i don't wanna make myself cry again only imaging it make me cryyy.
But it is a MUST WATCH go watch it now. I know it has a sad ending but still there cute and funny moments also!!!!!!

I got to know about this movie while writing my MDL'ers Favorite Korean Movies article. This movie was in the top 10 most awaited upcoming Korean movies section. At that time this movie had a orange poster which looked really cool and beautiful at the same time.So when this was finally relaesed it really created a lot of buzz. I mean literally everyone was talking about this movie. It was like talk of the town. I couldn't open my Instagram cause everyone was posting about this movie. My Instagram Fanpage was in a more difficult situation. All my mutuals were editing about this movie on the other hand I really wanted to watch it without any spoilers but I couldn't cause I had ongoing exam. Unfortunately Instagram spoiled the ending of the movie anyway I decided to watch this movie once my exam finishes.
Watching the trailer I felt like another movie in which the girl falls in love with her best friends and ironically the crush also falls in love with the girl. But it wasn't really about that..................
I really love that even though I knew about the ending how I love the story progress. It's really unpredictable. The summer scenes. The cute interactions.
STORY
About the last year of 20th century of Bo Ra's life which became a special memory of her 21st century life.
ACTING
I always feel like playing the role of high school students are a little different than the other roles. It needs a lot of emotions. Every and each actors acting really made everything feeling magical.
CAST
My first time seeing the leads. I have seen Kim Yoo Jung in Instagram reels and YouTube Fm but I never realized until this movie that she is such a great Actress. I think the casting was perfect as we can feel their chemistry with each other.
Although I have gave this 7 rating overall after thinking like thousand times. Everything was this movie was nice but does the ending even make any sense. So many unanswered questions. And it just ended like I don't know it ruined everything for me. It's okay for one time watching but I definitely will never rewatch this. They just ruined our summer vibe comfort movie. I wish he could meet the 21st century of Bo Ra.
Memories matter and stay with us forever.

First - do not expect a warm fuzzy ending. It’s been 10 minutes since this movie ended and I am fighting off a second wave of tears.I am usually not too affected by high school love stories, but this one broke my heart. I have felt this type of pain from the loss of my husband, and was quite envious of their ability to tell each other how they felt before they were permanently separated in the end.
The movie itself was very sweet it its development between the leads and how they grew close. And while I find these noble ‘sacrifice’ story lines annoying sometimes, this one made me quite sad.
The ML (what a gifted actor he is!) and the FL grew close because of friendship and shared interests, not an attack of random hormone release, and this is how lasting relationships should begin. A steady slow burn that stokes a fire that lasts a lifetime.
It was refreshing that there weren’t any psycho ex’s or ranting parents throwing fits and causing havoc. I am glad they focused on this instead of including tropes that distracted from the story.
Their separation was sweet and something neither wanted, but adults will be adults when it comes to making decisions regarding their families.
I am glad they left out how he ended up losing his life, because I’d still be sobbing if it had been included.
The ending was bittersweet. The FL finally found out what happened to him, and she finally got to see his love for her reflected in the video he had left behind.
I really loved this movie despite its ending. It was beautifully filmed and the cast was perfectly cast. Frankly, I don’t even remember anything about the music, that’s how much my mind was engaged in the story.
I think this will be my go to drama when I need a good cry and to cherish memory’s if the past.
Keep the tissues close at hand for the ending. You’ll need them.

GUYS you do not understand how much I love this movie!!! i think it is my favorite. the vibes and nostalgia that come off of it are hard to beat. the actors are perfect and they have so much chemistry. a lot of people say they hate the ending but I loved it. I think that is what made the movie unique. it was one of the saddest movies I have watched, but a good kind of sad. (if that makes sense) the story is so cute and it got me giggling every second while watching it. definitely watch this movie if you are thinking about it. it will change you forever!!!!Was this review helpful to you?

CUTE! HEARTWARMING! But nothing new...
I was bored because recently I haven't found any good romance K-drama lately and I found this movie... IT WAS WORTH MY TIME! I'm a sucker for both teeth and heart-wrenching drama. This one... served both. You got a sweet start and a bitter-sweet ending a classic K-drama formula!The build-up of the story was really good. I enjoyed every interaction between the leads, the friendship between the characters, the setting that felt so nostalgic, and especially the start of their romance. I was enjoying the time when both leads were falling in love, kinda expected them to give more than shown in the movie. However, the twist came (kinda predictable) and everything started to fall apart. Up to the twist, everything was still well-written.
(SPOILER and rants AHEAD!!!)
The fight between Bo-ra and Yeon-do also didn't last long which was great. I always hate misunderstandings between friends, but they cleared everything quickly, and even we got what we wanted! The confession between the leads!
The ending was the one that made everything seems like a joke... GOD I hate it when they gave two happy people no happy ending, it didn't feel fair. I still cried though. But Wonhoo's death just didn't make any sense, they didn't even bother to explain why he died... He just *poof* disappeared from the story, which ruined everything that made the movie good!
and I wished Wonhoo's letter was the one that his brother sent to Bo-ra... it conveyed such great feelings rather than the movie she watched at the end.

Our incomplete story
Last part made me so emotional. Why there was need to give such ending ? I don't think so the story should be end in this way . I cried a lot after seeing the ending part . Their incomplete story .Too good , everything is just perfect ,their acting and chemistry between the first leads. My favourite secene from the movie was the roller coaster ride's scene .
Though he scared from the height then to he sat on it just
because he wanted to spend more time with her .
Too emotional , if you able to bear sad ending then watch it.

I watch this because my princess Kim yoojung, but accidentally crying so harrdddddd :( first time I watch this movie it feels fun, warm, melting and enjoy all the characters.. i can feel the chemistry of Kim yoojung and byeon woo seok .. I got so deep into it that in the end I feel so empty.I hope the two main actors have a drama together in the future, to the writer thank you for making this story a film and bringing Yoojung as the main actor, this drama is very good from the story, selecting the actors and the cinematography.

O filme é muito mais do que eu esperava, faz você se envolver com os personagens a ponto de sentir a dor deles. Você se alegra, fica ansiosa, cria expectativas junto com eles e tambem chora, se ilude e sente a dor e frustração junto com eles.a história é muito envolvente e traz uma nostalgia de um tempo que nem todos viveram, você se identifica com os personagens ao ponto de criar laços com eles no decorrer da história.
Eu necessitava de um filme assim para voltar a ver doramas.
